I order 14kg bags of food which are delivered to my doorstep saves me lugging heavy bags to my car etc. they offer discounts, repeat orders or buy again options which are very helpful.

Unbelievable

Their shipping partner is so abysmally bad. This is the third day I’ve gotten an email saying my parcel is out for delivery but hasn’t shown up after I’ve stayed home all day for it. I don’t know if my order is ever going to come but I definitely won’t be ordering from here again.

same day dispatch

everything was dispatched same day as order and arrived very quickly. while the box was full and heavy it arrived in perfect condition, unlike some previous vendors i have used, where the boxes arrived broke, bags of food burst. would recommend now that prices are coming back to align with competitors.

Was a bit confused about delivery…

Was a bit confused about delivery times. Presumed it is an Irish site ( I live in Ireland). Communication with the shop was excellent! Delivery took 5 working days . Which is good.

Ordered 3 items for my dog. All arrived well packed within 5 working days to Ireland. Good quality and prices. Will use again.

Better prices for my four dogs food and…

Better prices for my four dogs food and choice. Some brand are very good and not as expensive as the ones available in ROI. Delivered to my doorstep and save me hassle of carrying 12 kg bags from the shop to the car etc. I’m shopping for my dogs food here for last 3 years and they always deliver perfect packed and I recommend zoo plus to couple of my friends who are also very satisfied.

Easy to order online but delivery challenges

Easy to order online. All items needed were in stock. Provides excellent value for food and cat litter. However, delivery not as good as with previous company. No date or time of delivery is given and tracking app not useful. Boxes often damaged. Box sizes changed which is fine but then additional costs added. So more expensive to order same products than previously.

Zooplus was my trusted supplier for years- now they can no longer be trusted

Zooplus has been my trusted supplier for my 6 cats in the past, for several years in fact since 2020.
Since changing the courier (and reading other reviews appears other changes have taken place too) the deliveries have become slow and very unreliable and customerservice has gone down the drain. It is unfortunate that none of the Irish online petshops have as good a selection or good prices. There are some products I can only get at Zooplus. If that wasn't the case, I would ditch them 100 %, faster than you can spell cat.
Service is brutal, customer service agents don't know their own products or rules, deliveries unbelievably slow and nobody seems to ever know where your parcel is , nor care about the stress they are causing the customer.
Lately complained about yet another delivery that 8 days after ordering had not even been handed to the courier. Was given a 10 euro voucher as an apology. When I tried to use the voucher code to get my compensation in the next order they added the delivery fee on the order (normally free) effectively nullifying the discount given. And for anyone who says plan your orders...I use the repeat orders with preplanned delivery dates and stuff still arrives several days late!
Looking actively for alternative.
Oh and Zooplus. Please don't send me your standard response quoting your delivery terms. We are customers. You are running a business. We are unhappy. Do the math.
To add to the Zooplus response below my review is not about an individual recent order, it is about the same experience for dozen or more orders over several months.

Woeful delivery. Great products.

The product is great and good value for money but the delivery service was atrocious. I expected delivery within 7 days of order. It was in the Irish depot for 3 days before delivery.

Excellent service.

I have used Zooplus.ie for years and have always been very happy with them. Excellent service, value for money, choice in pet foods and supplies, and most of all, so convenient. We couldn't recommend Zooplus.ie enough.

Truly awful service delivery.

Your order will not reach you in the time they estimate, not by a long shot, so beware if you are considering using ZooPlus to order food for your pet, it is fraudulent shipping times. They use GLS but for some reason they don't update any tracking info, so your parcel tracking info just sits there saying they are awaiting further info on the shipment from the sender, weeks have passed now without an update and when you have the temerity to query ZooPlus or demand a new shipment is sent, you get the same template response email from 'Amy' telling you to be patient and wait a few more days......wtf Amy?! This is food for my little furry best friends and considering you pretend to care about animals as a company, your disregard for customer service is shocking.

Very poor Customer Service

I ordered my dog food on 1/10/25 and a week later it still hadn’t arrived. I rang your customer services and was informed by your staff member that my order was delayed because of the storm that had occurred the weekend before. I then asked when I might receive it as I had very little food left. He told me he didnt know and then the call just hung up. He didn’t ring me back to see if he could help me any further. I went out and bought my dog food costing €85 and the very next day my order from Zooplus arrived ! So how did the customer service official not see on his system that the food was in transit which would have saved me spending extra money for my dog food.

The app is easy to use

The app is easy to use. I have a discount l can use for a year and also free shipping over a certain amount of the value of my orders.The variety and selling price are excellent, though sometimes l have to wait for out of stock favourites. They send me an email when the item is back on stock. Delivery is usually within a week and the packages are all recicleable. Sometimes the package of the items or the whole package is open or damaged but nothing has ever been missed from my order. That’s why l give only 4 stars. My last delivery experience was 5 star.

Brilliant experience

Brilliant experience. I order basically every month for my pet food products - dogs and cats. Competitive prices and great variety of products.
Great special offers and discounts provided often, which I avail of. The Zooplus app is very user friendly.
Would highly recommend Zooplus.

My only niggle would be that delivery could be a bit better - currently GLS - previously DPD which were way better.

Bad service in Ireland

Bad service in Ireland. If you make a claim, which it will happen quite often, they will not read the emails and they will keep asking over and over for the information that it was already sent to them. You will end up calling them.
