Fantastic from beginning to end
From beginning to end, the service at The London Vision Clinic was great. They took the time to make sure that I fully understood the procedure that most suited my eyes (LASIK), and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entirety of my surgery.
The surgery itself, was completely painless and the surgeon reassured me through every step.
I can't fault the experience or the aftercare.

Excellent99% success Blended Lasic Treatment.
The whole experience was as what was explained. Step by Step. My sgiht is 99% better (1%- due to an issues from a child nothign to do t=with the proceedure) It took 10 seconds per eye.. of course some visits for tests.. I live abroad and went in when i flew to the uk and they were very flexible and accomodating. I could not recomend it more. I have the blended lasic treatment.

Would be good to speak to a doctor/surgeon about options
I went to LVC to have a consultation for what eye surgery to get. The customer service from my patient care coordinator was brilliant and I'm sure the team here have lots of experience and expertise.
My score relates mainly to my experience with the optometrist and costs. When I was having the eye test done I found her to be quite rude as the test was taking a long time and she was placing the machine right on top of my face. She then went through the options I could have which included laser as a one-off due to my thin cornea. I didn't feel confident with her recommendation so I went to Moorfields for a second opinion.
When I went to Moorfields, the first person I saw was my surgeon. The optometrist there, also did the eye test the old fashioned way which was much quicker. My surgeon then showed me all the scans and explained what treatments would be available. They said they hoped no one had told me laser was an option considering how thin my cornea was. I told them that I was offered this, and they were not happy considering the risks. It then dawned on me that I hadn't spoken with a doctor at LVC considering the costs at both are similar at the same stage of assessment.
I'm definitely not one to say that a doctor or surgeon has to be the one to discuss the options as maybe LVC do things differently and their optometrists are qualified to do this. However, when you hear from another surgeon that a treatment shouldn't have been offered, that does lower your confidence in the centre. This was the main reason why I decided not go ahead with LVC.

I’m very sorry that your experience during the testing left you feeling uncomfortable — that is never the impression we want any patient to leave with.
At London Vision Clinic, our initial screening appointment is a comprehensive three-hour assessment carried out by a highly qualified Optometrist. This involves multiple advanced diagnostic scans that are not widely available in other clinics, and these can sometimes take longer or feel different to a more traditional refraction-only eye test. The purpose is always to gather the most precise and detailed data possible so that our surgeons can make an informed, personalised suitability decision.
Regarding the conversation around treatment options: both ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens) and a one-time-only LASER procedure were discussed to ensure you had the full range of possibilities. Your scans showed sufficient corneal tissue and tomography for laser to be considered — but only as a one-off procedure with the understanding that top-up spectacles may be required later. At the same time, we also explained that ICLs would likely provide the highest degree of spectacle independence, and therefore were the preferred option. I’m sorry if this felt unclear or was not communicated in a way that gave you confidence.
To reassure you, no patient proceeds to treatment at London Vision Clinic based solely on an Optometrist’s assessment. Every patient has a dedicated one-to-one consent appointment with one of our Consultant Surgeons, who reviews all imaging personally, discusses risks in detail, and makes the final suitability decision. We appreciate that hearing a different professional opinion elsewhere can understandably lower confidence, and I’m sorry this was the case for you.
Although you chose not to continue your journey with us, we sincerely wish you the very best with your ongoing care. We value your feedback and will use it to ensure every patient feels supported, informed, and comfortable throughout their visit.

I recently had SMILE and ICL surgery and my experience during this process was great. From start to finish the staff were fantastic - professional and informative. Every step of the process was clearly explained to me, including what to expect before, during and after the procedures. They carried out thorough examinations and laid out realistic expectations.
I was nervous going in, but the team took time to answer every question I had and their reassurance and professionalism made a huge difference.
Post treatment care was excellent and everything went well with no issues what so ever.
Highly recommend to anyone considering vision correction surgery.

Blended vision laser surgery.
From the initial testing procedures to the operation and then the follow up examinations The London Vision Clinic were very good. The whole process was very professional and all the staff were efficient and very polite. I had blended vision laser surgery and after 3 months my eyesight is virtually normal. No more spectacles. Also it was painless throughout.

Lens replacement surgery
I was recommended this clinic by a friend who had previously had laser for her myopia. I did look at other centres, the London Vision centre was competitive in pricing ,however it was the flexibility of choice based on clinical judgement that made me select them .From the initial contact and through the subsequent clinic contact with the optomotrist and surgeon I found them to be patient centred honest and professional. They took time to understand my individual needs and were very clear to ensure that the risks benefits and expectations were communicated. I am not quite at the end of my vision journey however I do trust their judgement and skills to get me to the point that I would hope for.

Seamless Laser Eye Treatment from Start to Finish
I recently had laser eye treatment and wanted to share my full experience—from booking right through to aftercare—because it genuinely exceeded my expectations.
From the very first enquiry, the booking process was smooth and reassuring. The clinic staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and never pushy. Scheduling my consultation was easy, and I received clear instructions ahead of time about what to expect. During my assessment, the optometrist took the time to explain the different treatment options, walked me through the scans in detail, and answered every question I had. I never felt rushed, and that gave me a lot of confidence moving forward.
On the day of the procedure, everything ran on time and was extremely well organized. The surgical team made me feel calm and comfortable throughout. The laser treatment itself was much quicker than I anticipated—just a few minutes per eye—and completely painless. The surgeon talked me through each step, which really helped ease any nerves.
After the procedure, my vision was already noticeably clearer, even though it was slightly hazy at first (as they had explained it would be). I was given thorough aftercare instructions, eye drops, and a clear recovery plan before leaving. What really stood out was the level of follow-up care. I had regular check-ins to monitor my healing, and the team was always available if I had questions or concerns.
The aftercare appointments were just as professional and reassuring as the initial consultation. My recovery went exactly as outlined, and within a short time, I was enjoying crisp, clear vision without glasses or contact lenses.
Overall, the entire journey—from booking to aftercare—was seamless, professional, and incredibly positive. I felt supported every step of the way, and the results have genuinely been life-changing. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone considering laser eye treatment.

Really fantastic experience throughout. The clinic itself is very clean and comfortable, the staff are incredibly quick to respond and are very helpful and kind - which is so important given that eye surgery and corrections can be so incredibly daunting. Amazing after care which made everything better
I got quotes in different places for laser eye surgery and I realised it’s all about the after care. I’ve had my eye surgery a month ago and the after care has been AMAZING. I have access to the clinic in hours, after hours telephone, and my surgeons direct details.
Even more, for my one month check up I was seen by Brendan who said everything was better than expected for my recovery. I loved the fact that my surgeon Professor Dan Reinstein checked the results and texted me that all is well.
Meghan is my coordinator and her response time and knowledge has been so seamlessly. She posted me extra eye drops in the post instantly.
I am recommending this clinic to everyone due to the quality of the technology, the success of the surgery, and the amazing aftercare.
