I’m always apprehensive to order from online shops but took a chance because the dress looked lovely and the colour was perfect. The terms also said that you get a 90% refund if you change your mind/not satisfied with your product which reassured me.
The dress was lovely and I could see it being perfect but, unfortunately, it was too big on me. I contacted Babaroni and asked to return it due to the size. They asked me for photos showing it’s too big then suggested I go to a seamstress instead of returning it as it would be ‘more economical’! The boning and sizing round the bust would make it very difficult to alter and could end up being more expensive. For a company that says on their website ‘You will still get a 90% refund even though there is no quality problem, but you are not satisfied with the item, or you just change your mind’, they should not question a request to return.
I am not happy but cannot be bothered with the back and forth emails. I have reluctantly accepted that I will not be returning this dress and am now over £100 out of pocket.
