All the staff where great all went as plans

This was my second cataract operation. The whole experience has been excellent from booking, follow up and the recovery.
All the staff were friendly, caring & knowledgeable. Everything from explaining the procedure, do’s and don’t and what to expect afterwards was fully explained and leaflets given as necessary

Lovely staff, very helpful and reassuring. Explained processes, procedures and outcomes. There were spaces in the car park this time which was a worries the previous visits we had struggled finding free car park spaces. Appointment was seen on time.

Excellent Service

The experience was good from start to finish. We were met with smiles and help from the moment of the first appointment. No query was too much. There were quite a few elderly people there and they were given all the time they needed to become comfortable.
The operation itself enjoyed the same helpful attitude but with additional awareness of the nervousness of people going “under the knife”. The organisation of each of the staff was superb. The whole experience was over in what seemed like minutes.
The post operative instructions were clear and full. I had a query on when I could play golf and the answer was delivered quickly. There was no significant wait to contact by phone.
I am getting my glasses sorted this week. That should get me back to normal. 8 or 9 weeks start to finish.

I received very good service. I was seen quickly and my surgery went ahead without delay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

There has been NO IMPROVEMENT since my last post I have been trying to get through to the service and especially NHS line is almost never answered however tried to get through via PRIVATE call answered within seconds so those that have given 5* maybe not from NHS patients!!! I am still waiting for a call and now when I want to make an official complaint I am not being able to contact them!!!!

The intervention was very efficient and painless, with very friendly and helpful staff. Slightly let down however by very poor telephone answering, at least as an NHS patient.

Professional & very efficient experience throughout, cannot be faulted.

Was seen quickly. Calm atmosphere. Nurses efficient and sympathetic. Surgery was successful. Have excellent distance vision now in both eyes.

Took my wife to Optegra (Guildford) for an NHS Assessment for a possible cataract operation - now eyes are complicated bits of kit and the names and conditions are equally daunting to the lay man - seen by Mr Jasdain Brar who could not have been kinder and clearer in his explaining of Judy's condition. She was able to see the high resolution imagery and to understand the implications - and the path forward. We have rarely experienced this level of care and consideration. But it was not just Mr Brar - everyone that we came into contact with treated us with kindness and respect - for a couple of old buffers - I'm 84yrs and could not drive the (Free) coffee machine - immediate help from the receptionist - premises spotless, parking within feet of the doors and superb communications - AND remember we were NHS patients not high paying Private patients........

Really impressed by Optegras efficiency I changed my operation each time to a new date that suited me, it was so easy. My second eye surgery was even quicker and pain free than the first. I’m very satisfied with how speedy everything was arranged. Well done it’s often we get good service like this.

Everything was explained step by step through the whole procedure.The staff were extremely caring and friendly and I was so relieved that I didn't need to put in eye drops afterwards as I am useless at it.
