Oliver and Rose are a scam. They masquerade as an old, high class London tailor but are in fact a front for shoddy Asian goods. The product that I bought took three weeks to arrive and bore no relation to the advertised article. The “returns procedure” is via an address in the Republic of China the carriage of which has to be paid (and tracked) by the purchaser and there is no return address sticker. Don’t be fooled by the very plausible “front” of this company. This is thinly veiled robbery.

Definitely a scam! And sadly I fell for it like everyone else! Items took weeks to appear, no adequate tracking. When they finally appeared - appalling quality and not as described. Not even a label inside yet their returns policy says you can only return with the labels intact. Hard to do when they aren’t any! Total shambles and now all correspondence with company ceased when I asked for a refund and have threatened to report them
- AVOID - a scam!

I ordered an items on one order and another item the sam be day 18 December 2024. They have still not arrived with nothing on tracking except data issued on that date. I have contacted customer service with some response but none since. I believe this is a scam and will try to get money back through credit card companies. Wish me luck.

AVOID. It’s a scam and I embarrassingly fell for it. They, whoever they are, advertise it on Instagram, as a closing down sale, huge reductions. The clothing on the website looks nothing like the goods that are sent to you, plus no label on the product. I wish I had of read the reviews here before falling victim to this hoax. Avoid at all costs, do not click on anything that resembles this scam. Since this happened, many people have said not to purchase anything on Instagram or other social media sites. Huge worldwide platform, easy to fool consumers.

It’s a scam. Clothes look lovely online. It has a website that looks legit with great sounding reviews. I ordered a jumper. It arrived 6 weeks later and doesn’t resemble the item I ordered. It looks like a child knitted it. There’s no branded label. The colours are hideous. Avoid at all costs.

Awful. ordered on 14/12/24 and arrived 06/01/25. Poor quality products, cheap and nasty, the boots had a strong chemical smell to them. Customer services asking me to photograph each item before sending me a return label, just delaying and deflecting tactics.
Marketed as family run, London based business closing down after many years - total scam. Avoid.

Update on 16 Mar 2025:
Over two months after finally agreeing a refund, Oliver & Rose has still not reimbursed me. Each time I follow up it's the same apologetic excuses yet nothing actually done. Their website states 10 business days for a refund, this seemingly is not true (I can't include the url but it is accurate as of today). Utterly appalling company that cannot be trusted. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

I wish I had found these reviews before I ordered from Oliver & Rose!

I ordered two items on 30/11/2024 that finally arrived on Xmas eve despite the website stating 8-12 days delivery time. This wouldn't be a problem if what I have received is worth the delay!

The jacket I ordered appears to have been used, has marks on it and no tags. The quality is also very poor. The knitted sweatshirt I ordered is even worse: it's cheap, nasty material with a printed pattern, not the knitted style and fabric shown on the website. I believe the images used on the site are not of the actual garment being provided. Although on sale, the value of these two items is advertised as £350. This is absolutely not reflected in the quality or design, and the items I have received are very poor condition!

I have been liaising with Oliver & Rose for a week and half to complain about the problems and try to arrange a return and refund. Despite the website saying 'UK certified shop', the goods have been shipped from China, which is where they have to be returned via a track and trace service. This is going to cost £30, which O&R will not reimburse. They have offered up to 50% refund if I keep the items but this will still leave me £38 out of pocket.

The customer support team have been prompt and courteous but I keep being fobbed off with the same nonsense: "our policy is blah blah..." Because of the poor condition and the items not being as advertised I do not wish to keep them. As O&R is at fault, I should be able to return the items without losing half of what I have paid.

I strongly recommend being very cautious about ordering anything from this company!

Minus 100 stars - don't touch with a bargepole. 100% rubbish quality. Polite and inscrutable service on email. Obfuscation, diversion and finally a full refund. All you have to do is return your item to China.

THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

I ordered a knit sweater from this seller, but what I received was a cheap sweatshirt with a print – nothing like what was advertised. When I contacted them about the issue, they agreed to refund me for the item, but they insisted I cover the return postage myself.

However, under UK law, the seller is supposed to pay for return postage when the item is faulty or misdescribed. Despite explaining this, they refused to cover the return shipping costs, leaving me to pay out of pocket for their mistake.

It’s disappointing that they’re not taking responsibility for the issue and are making me jump through extra hoops to get a refund.

The item needs to be returned to China with a tracker which is about £11. The sweater was £29.

Avoid at all costs.

Awful. Can't believe I fell for this company...when I look back at it now it looks so dodgy. The sweaters I bought are so ugly. They appear to have knitted detailing online, but are just a really cheap print on a shirt. There is no way they cost the original price. It's a complete scam. I also don't think they are based in London. I had a company called Cedar and Lily Brisbane take the payment from my PayPal. I think the whole thing is fraudulent.

Completely misleading. The products are absolutely not the same as advertised. This is a scam. The worst quality products I have ever seen in my life. Not even worth 1 pound. Do NOT buy.

As the other 1 star reviews say. We’ve had the same experience. Unfortunately have worked out it’s a scam :(

Avoid at all costs. I ordered three items worth £85 and despite chasing the “customer service” team no reponse and no phone number. Tracking showing as “in transit” for last 10 days. Do NOT use this company. Nothing has been delivered, definite scam!!

Scam website found off Facebook. Ordered the Christmas tree sweaters. Appeared as beautiful knitted jumper with embroided trees. Actually a printed, cheap tshirt. Upon investigation I’ve found another website listed on trust pilot (Oliver London.com) that has the same issue. Website describes the company as closing down. It’s all lies. Avoid at all costs
