Really pleased with our new electric garage door. The company kept us well informed prior to fitting. The fitters, Scott & Justin, then did a great job, making sure that we were happy with the finish, talked us through how to operate the door and tidied up all their packaging before they left. I would definitely recommend this company.

My garage door was fitted in 2019 and has always had a habit of closing itself with a moderate wind, but know its not safe as one side does not lock out. In 2019 they sent out two different sets of fitters who didn't/ couldn't fix it. Today I phoned them to ask if they could possibly sort it out, the person I spoke to said that needed the springs retentioned! But £130.00 plus VAT is extortion and most likely wouldn't work. I am totally disappointed and disgusted with this company.

Fantastic service from the Garage door centre. We are very pleased with our Hormann roller door which we had fitted in February 2022. Unfortunately, we had a problem with it last week but were very satisfied with the excellent customer service we have had to rectify it with. We had an engineer out to assess it withing 2 hours of a call and it's working perfectly again.
Would highly recommend.

My garage door was just outside of the warranty period and I was having problems, they sent an engineer who changed the batteries in the remote, the bill was £130 plus VAT! They never at any time told me their was an extortionate call out charge, they deny this so as good as called me a liar! So basically my word against theirs, would never use again, their customer service skills leave a lot to be desired too

I needed a replacement door handle for an old garage door but wasn’t sure exactly what part I needed as none of the ones I could find online seemed to be an exact match. So I decided to call the contact number on this website and was able to speak to someone who confirmed my suspicion that the visual design had changed over the years. Ideally I wanted the older look so that it would match with the other garages in the block rather than stick out. Fortunately they still had some of the older units available and I was able to purchase one for a very competitive price. It arrived the next day and fitted perfectly. Thank you

Very pleased with my new Hormann sectional garage door from The Garage Door Centre, and the whole process from showroom to fitting was straightforward. The installation was completed on schedule and their team were well organised and courteous. I would recommend them.

I was very pleased with the quality of the Hormann Georgian door for the price given. The two guys who fitted it turned up on time, were friendly and professional, and explained afterwards how to operate and look after the door. My old dented rusting door was removed as well, at no extra cost. Compared to some local fitters' prices, I was very satisfied. Payment is required in advance; a fifty percent deposit and then the balance 3 days before fitting. This is to stop those despicable people out there who have work done and then do not pay afterwards. I was happy to pay this way and I would highly recommend this company.

I have nothing but praise for this company, from start to finish I dealt with friendly helpful people who explained everything I wanted to know about the doors I had fitted and the team of two who did the job were fantastic, efficient, professional and tidy. Thank you all very much.

Since we purchased our garage door from the Garage Door Centre in August 2018 at a cost of £2835 we have experienced a number of quality issues relating to the fixed glazed window panels in the hinged dòors.
These are made of perspex and in 2020 an unsightly crack appeared in one of the windows.
We subsequently complained under warranty and the aftercare service we received was very good albeit we had to wait several months for a replacement and refit, this being understandably due to COVID restrictions.

Annoyingly the window that was replaced developed a similar crack in April of this year. Obviously we submitted a second complaint and a similar process of exchange emails and photographic evidence pursued.
It is now approaching 4 months, despite numerous phone calls being made to the Company to rectify the fault, we have the same response that the supplier who manufactures the doors have a serious supply and delay issue due to COVID.
What is so annoying and unprofessional is that we have received no call backs except on one oçassion when the Company representative has stated he will come back to us, no written messages of apology and no written updates as to when the replacement will be available.
One question I have is that if there are such delays in the supply and manufacturing process what delays are new customers experiencing when they order a new door.

Excellent service from David and the team from beginning to end. I am delighted with my newly installed sectional double garage door. An excellent product which perfectly matches the description. The door arrived when promised and the installation was carried out with meticulous attention to detail, including overcoming challenges posed by the installation of new soffit boards installed after the measurements were taken at the time of my order. If I had another garage, I would definitely ask David and the team to install a new door!

I have never written a negative review prior to this - in fact I am shocked at having to write this. More-so given the fact that I clearly stated I wanted an amicable resolution to an error made on the part of the company.
I paid over £3500 for 2 garage doors but the wrong colour doors fitted, and now being emailed by various staff/director that I am likely to face further charges to rectify the mistakes. I asked if I could go to the showroom to check the colour, as we wanted dark brown. I was not allowed the opportunity and COVID was the excuse. Anyhow a photo of a dark brown door came on the estimate and I agreed that this is the correct colour. This I have sent back to the company as a screenshot clearly showing it is dark brown. What I have fitted is 2 very black doors. The rest of the street all have dark brown garage doors and we wanted to replace our old broken ones for new ones but in keeping with the street ie. dark brown.
Despite having the image clearly sent back to him, the staff member firstly was rude on the phone when I first called to explain their error, and secondly all of a sudden has samples that he could send out. Why not offer this in the beginning?! Email follows with his comments that further costs will have to be incurred? Absolutely disgraceful. I had already used the company a few years ago but am extremely shocked at where they are now. Another important point, they want the full amount of money before fitting, which I have paid. The error was only noticed once the fitters had removed my old garage doors and so no choice but to get the doors on - not to mention it was pouring with rain on fitting day.
I will be seeking resolution to this as I clearly have an image of what I agreed to - with the exact description and it shows it to be dark brown in colour! I will be looking to speak to the company directors, who the very understanding fitters have said are good people and will not leave a customer with the wrong doors when I clearly have proof of the colour I agreed to in photographic form. The fitters even agreed that the image on my estimate is dark brown and nothing like what has been fitted. I await a response from someone more senior than this particular staff member.

Excellent service, unbeatable price. Team have provided fantastic job they have finished my garage door upgrade in around few hours, I was extremely surprised by the level of professionalism.
