I have been a customer of Maxi Zoo Cork stores since they first came to Cork 18 years ago. The Midleton store is well run, customer service is customer focused and there seems to be a good team atmosphere. Recently I had a very positive experience with practical advice and product info from Philip - much appreciated. Thank you again Philip 😊🐾

I’m happy for Maxi zoo. Delivery fast max 2days i have to wait. I can found everything for my cat. Good deals every month.

Avoid and go with any alternatives in relation to online orders. Waste of time.

I always go Maxi Zoo and stuff are friendly & helpful.

However, went today and ask a lady ( middle age blonde hair ) while she was chatting with other staff!
I asked.. ‘excuse me, what day you usually get delivery of aquarium fish?’

She replied angrily shouting on me !! ‘ you see I am talking and you interpreting?’

I was very surprised how rude she could be with customer enquiries where customer service should be the priority!!!

I will never go to Maxi Zoo in Belgard again. 💯

Ordered online on a Wednesday, said it would be delivered in 2 working days. It is almost 5 pm and the order is still on the DPD depot and is not going to be delivered because the shipping label was missing details. Monday it is a bank holiday and so my dog will only received his food on Tuesday!!!! I provided the right address still they did the shipping label wrong!!!!!!

My appointment was canceled just a few minutes before arriving time. Very disappointed and looks not professional at all.

Placed an order on the 20th May contacted them on the 23rd may to see how long my delivery would take response was your order is on its way ..its the 26th now and no order but i did get two emails one telling me an item was out of stock and the other saying the order will arrive in one to two working days which will make it around the 28th for delivery ...so much for 1 to 3 days delivery even do its based in Ireland..DPD Tracking is saying the package only hit head office today its luck my dog has not starved to death

Received 24 cans of select gold kitten food today
All loose cans and some damaged
Not packed in fill cases
Also got cans of other kitten food substituted
Maxi zoo..You just lost a customer who has 7 cats and spends a lot of money

Ever since I adopted my cat, MaxiZoo in Midleton has been my goto place because they are always helpful, friendly and professional.
Their online shop is good as well and the one time an order was incomplete, they resolved it quickly and without fuss.

Great value dog food and quick delivery time.

Today I had the most wonderful kindest experience in the Dundalk store that I have ever had in any store. I took my three young boys(6,5&2) in to buy dog food. They are curious and love the fish and are busy boys. Everyone we met today were friendly, kind and helpful. Then we met Ger who I asked for advice about a dog bed. He had an abundance of knowledge and took such patience with my distraction keeping an eye on my boys. Nothing was a hassle for him. He took our items to the till and waited for the boys to finish looking at the fish and served me and even took our items to the car. I left my bank card in the machine as the 2 year old made a runner!! and Ger even came back out of the shop to hand it back to me in person. Employee of the month / year is what he needs. Never have I had such a kind, patient and understanding experience. Thank you Ger! A true gentleman! Cherish this employee, he is what every company wants as the face of their products/service.

I was in maxi zoo ashbourne, i am very please with the service here! When i enterd the store I was approached with a friendly smile and a hello, I was looking for some dog food for my new puppy. When I went to the till I was served by a lovely staff member named ellen, she is very knowledgeable and is a great worker, I would definitely recommend this store. Thank you for your amazing service.

Staff is extremely unfriendly. Sitting bored with their plastic, disgusting fingernails,playing with their handies at the till and don't have any clue of what they are doing there.
They have absolutely no idea and no experience regarding pets. I always buy there small animal stuff, the packages are often damaged and open, which is extremely unhygienic for the animals and they don't give a sh***...Trust is nearly gone, I checked out some online shops and I started ordering things there...HEY!!! There are more animals existing in this country than dogs...and dogs....!!!!!

Update: Maxi Zoo emailed me and apologised for the delay in getting back to me. They issued a full refund, which is brilliant.

Placed an order that was due to be delivered in 3 days. On the 3rd day I contacted them because there had been no updated on my order. I got a standard response someone will get in touch, no one did.
Then 6 days after placing my order I got an email to say my order was cancelled because they had run out of stock. Very frustrating and I am still waiting for my funds to be returned.

Maxi Zoo Nutgrove is a fantastic store with everything I need for my cats along with new ranges of products like their scratch posts and cardboard scratch furniture, along with different treats and toys, particularly their valerian pillows that my cats love, and interactive dangly toys for the younger cats to play. They also have the best promotions, and extremely helpful staff who are there to help and answer any questions. Not just this, but the store donates to cat and dog rescues too. I am so glad this store is now in my area.

I went to MaxiZoo when I got my rescue cat to continue using the same food she had there. They have changed the food from adult to healthy adult. The cat won't touch the new stuff whatever I do. Found a food she will eat at Vet. Tried to register to buy online, website would not work. They have a Captcha not working. After many contacts with a help full customer care I gave up. Cleared all cookies and it still would not load. So I cannot use them anyway which has worked out fine. Fed up with all the Packets being in every language but English. I doubt if they care as they have plenty of other countries.

The company dpl they use are terrible it has put me off using any company that use this courier service. No waring when items delivered and just left in foyer of apt block. No phone call or even door bell rang. Very damaged box and half of tins of cat food badly damaged.
