Placed my order online, quick delivery, easy ordering system. I'll be back for more. I don't drive so online makes my life so easy.

Once again, delivery times appalling and running out of their own stock so my online order was amended and delayed. The ONLY reason I ordered from maxizoo is that I assumed it was a quicker delivery time, I needed my items asap, I was thinking maybe a timeframe of maybe a day or 2, 3 at most for delivery. Over a week later the shipment arrived and short of what was ordered. I can order pet supplies from Germany and it's a 3/5 day delivery time, I can order from another Irish pet company and it's a next day delivery guaranteed and yet maxizoo can't get it together to have a reasonable timeframe...their online store is a joke and when orders are placed you can't be guaranteed if you'll get them due to their inconsistent stock numbers... Don't order from them, they're an absolute joke of a company.

Very quick delivery and competitive price for whiskas. Nothing to complain about.

My cat loves the snack cream treats only Maxizoo seem to sell. I'm not sharing the name because I'm pretty sure every cat will get addicted to them. I recently lost my first furbaby to cancer and my other cat went off all the food they used to like even though they were frenemies she still missed her when she was gone. I've been trying different kibble and wet food and treats for months and Maxizoo have been so flexible if I need to exchange or get a refund for the foods she eats once then doesn't touch it again. I'm also disabled and chronically ill and cannot get to my local store sometimes when her favourite treats run out luckily they have such a fast delivery. I ordered Saturday and it was delivered today which was amazing and stopped me from feeling guilty because I couldn't get up to the shop myself. Their Customer Service is prompt by email and I always end up having a chat with the friendly staff in store too. Cannot thank you enough for all the help recently.

Staff are nice and friendly but tasks come before customers.
Please teach them customer service rules. Customers come first and if a big Que forms call for colleagues to help. Some customers are in rush due to school collections and many other reasons.
I just had a flight with another customer in there while i was buying cat foods coz i asked the staff to get his colleague to help, nicely.

I have ordered twice in the last 10 days or so and was totally happy with the service and the items I ordered (female dog nappies and compostable poop bags). However, I was stunned at the amount of packaging used for very small items. 2 tiny packs of poop bags were in a large cardboard box with tons of craft paper. A totally unnecessary use of resources when a small packet type envelope would have done the job. Maxizoo really needs to be thinking and packing more sustainably.

Really disappointing customer service. On the 11th of August I bought renal cat food for my cat in Longford on my way to Sligo where my cat is. About a week later my dad informed that my cat did not like the wet food but liked the dry food. He asked me if I would try and exchange the food the next time I came home (I live in Kildare) I went home about 2 weeks ago and on my way back to Kildare I stopped in Longford to ask if I could exchange the wet food (canned) for dry food. The staff in store didn’t want to deal with me as they wanted to lock up and said I would need to contact their head office and find my receipt even though the member of staff had remembered me who was standing next to the woman who was telling me what to do. A few days later I tried ringing their main office but there was no answer. I have had a busy week since and today I rang their office again and spoke to a gentleman that said he could not facilitate an exchange even though I had proof of purchase as it was over a month. He also wished me “good luck” at the end of the call which I thought was a bit smart. Really annoyed as I have often bought from this store.

Revived my order this morning ,this is my first time ordering from maxi zoo online .the poop scoop was broke when I opened it .i don’t mind it been broken but when I tried to contact someone to return it I couldn’t so I rang a maxi shop and she said they have nothing to do with that side and gave me a miner to ring and no one answered me .wont be ordering again lesson learned even if i could drop it to a shop and get a new one i would of been happy to no the girl said i cant.

After ordering food on their website to be shipped to an animal rescue in Leitrim I filled in the rescue address however I paid via Apple Pay and it was shipped to my home address they offered zero help. Super condescending in their email with their reply! As someone who works with dogs and works a lot in charity I spend anywhere from 9 thousand upwards a year on dog food. I will now shop some place else!

When I made my first online order for a specific cat food, three out of four boxes were different from the ones I ordered. With a second online order, one item was canceled and declared out of stock two days after ordering, and a second one six days after.

Prices are good, but waste of time ordering online.

Since I have a pet I’ve purchased online and the service, and delivery times have been just perfect

The experience I had with buying my cats food online from maxi zoo was superb. My cat is very picky with his wet food and refuses to eat anything except Purina Gourmet Gold Pâté. You can find all sorts of Purina cat food in other stores but never the Pâté. Maxi zoo made it possible for me to buy his favourite food in bulk so I never have to worry about him being upset or running out! It is so convenient for my cat and I. He is a very happy kitty now! Package came super quickly too.

Items arrived very quickly, well packaged. Using DPD is a plus.
However, I would caution anyone ordering not to click on any of the "Free gift" popups that appear after your order confirmation. They are a complete scam and I'm surprised that Maxi Zoo have so consistently allowed this on their site to fool their customers

Had the pleasure of dealing with a young man called Jack in the liffey Valley branch. Excellent customer service from Jack ..pleasant knowledgeable and then brought my purchases to car. Very friendly and helpful

1ST & LAST TIME ORDERING FROM HERE. Awful aftercare once ordered. My dog went without her special food (paying 80 euro for a bag of food is expensive for me, i'm disabled). Our dog is lactose intolerance. And can only eat sensitive burns food. Or gets badly sick. So, they not only wasted my time but put me in a position where I'd to pay double the cost to get it delivered that day. Leaving me on a Friday without the order even dispatched is TOTALLY unacceptable when I ordered Wednesday morning. I wouldn't of minding waiting until shipped but still today when I checked it hasn't even being packaged.

Thankfully, I got a refund without any issues from a very understanding rep. (Thank you Martin). Except being out nearly the cost of what I paid for the food to be delivered (50euro) and now. It's a pity they didn't show as much care to the order as the reps do. Obviously they're well use to dealing with a lazy shipping department.

I've to wait through the weekend -80 euros 130 for a bag of dog food (all to save 4.50). I should of just stuck with my reliable delivery service Petstop.

The fact that you offer a delivery service to the door, & have an efficient follow through customer query service too.
My sister is a healthcare worker so knowing her animals are fed well, when at work, is important. She loved the german brand of food from Maxi and the value.
However, the personal touch like the delivery guy that usually delivers her order already knows she could be busy inside her home and always calls her name out, after ringing the door bell, to get her attention. Also, I love the fact we get an image of the delivery too for a piece of mind. For us this company is efficient, great value for money and the staff amazing, we go to the Dundalk store and they are always so polite and helpful. 5/ 5 all round.

Deliveries are always very quick. Only at the last order there was an internal hiccup I think and it got cancelled. The money was quickly refunded and I just re-ordered. Customer service was very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely continue to order online.

The online store is completely unreliable. Placed an order for cat food, for an email the following day to say 2 items were out of stock and a refund would be given. The following day, the entire order was refunded but yet the items are still in stock and available to buy on the website.

Just a complete waste of time.

Edit: 3 days after making the order, I get an email stating the whole order is cancelled as items out of stock and no date when they will come back in stock. As of right now, the items are shown as in stock on their website (like they were 2 days after the order). Like I said, this is an unreliable site and in particular if you are looking for something urgent it could cost you a lot of time.

Was a customer of maxizoo for past 4yrs and used to enjoy going there every week with my dog. That was untill today when my dog had a small accident ( widdled) and the girl Roiseen who was on literally attacked me. And then to make things worse she started complaining to another customer about what happened and then the customer
( who I think might have been a friend of hers) followed me to the back of the store and attacked me for saying , " these things happen unfortunately with dogs ". I may also add its a very small dog. I offered to clean up if she got me some kitchen roll but she said she had none or a mop and she said she hadn't one of those either and told me it wasn't part of her job. I said I'd clean but she went off in a huff.
I'd never ever shop in the Mullingar store again. Shame because up.untill today I would rate all the staff i met In past 4yrs very nice and so helpful but I'm afraid 1 bad experience like that has ruined my experience in the Mullingar shop.
