My elderly mother in law had an untraceable leak which needed an external plumber to detect.
I phoned on her behalf and the matter was swiftly dealt with both professionally and with great care.

I knew I was going to miss a direct debit payment, after just a few minutes of waiting the man who answered was extremely helpful, non judgemental and very friendly. It's like talking to someone you know.
My direct debit was ammended and the monthly amount actually ended up going down! I can't recommend enough to just speak to them when you have an issue.

Do let them carry out works on your drainage.

Yorkshire Water carried out works to a shared drainage outside my house. The subsequent work caused the land around the manhole to start to sink. But that is now my responsibility to repair.

The advisor was very helpful and sorted out my account saving me money aswell couldn't ask for more.

Excellent service in sorting out metre reading changes.

Yorkshire Water customer service is absolutely fantastic. Every time I have needed to contact them my call has been answered promptly, no long wait ..
the customer service assistants are friendly, efficient and really helpful.
There are numerous other businesses who could benefit from this approach!

Despite all the bad press water companies receive Yorkshire Water have been brilliant in sorting out the problem I had.

I enjoy phoning YW as they are efficient, pleasant, respectful and friendly.
Also I think that the Yorkshire brass band music is great. 🎶

YWA showed true empathy when my parents passed away and I had to notify them that the house was empty and would be going up for sale.
They didn't bother me at all during this process and when I rang to notify that the completion date had arrived they were so kind when closing the account. It made things so much easier.
