I really don't know why my husband and I didn't look at Trustpilot before using this company-it is something that we always do but, on this occasion, we simply forgot (we have had a lot on our minds over the last month). Had we done so we would have avoided like the plague.
Like others on here, we chose an express delivery option for a £213 oder placed on Wednesday 5th November with an estimated delivery date of Thursday 6th or Friday 7th. We were desperate for this to arrive so we could crack on with putting together a feature wall in a bedroom that we are keen to get finished. Without boring everyone, the batons still haven't arrived, as I am writing this on the 13th November. I have spoken to customer services twice- false promises- had two phone calls unanswered and now, an e mail unanswered. This has had a really bad knock on effect for us as my husband is ill - he is very practical and skilled at DIY but I have had to book a carpenter to do work normally carried out by my husband, who now can't start as we have been let down on our delivery.
I hope this company is really proud of themselves- they have caused us so much unnecessary stress in the worst week of our lives.
Just don't use them, save yourself the trouble. All I need now is for the delivery to be made and the wood be of an unacceptable quality.

Update:
Our batons finally arrived on 19th November, following several phones calls and a WhatsApp to Chris, whose details I found from another Trustpilot review. To be fair, the batons were of very good quality when they arrived, and I finally had good communications from Chris and Sophie after many days of frustration. We were refunded our express delivery charges too. The whole process was unnecessarily stressful, we have ended up having to do a messy project in a newly carpeted room, something we were keen to avoid. It is such a shame, because the product was good. Why, oh why, does this company offer express delivery when they clearly cannot dispatch the products that quickly? Just tell the truth and then nobody is disappointed.
It turns out that our batons were only in the workshop being sprayed on the 17th November, when we were promised delivery 10days prior to that. I wonder if, without all the chasing that I had to do, we would still be waiting?

The second time I used them, the wood was so late that it compromised my work. Last time it was lost on the way to my office. Even though they know Yodel is useless, they still use them. I had to discard some of the wood last time as it was such bad quality. I gave them the benefit of the doubt this time as they are cheap and we are a charity but it's not worth it

Really wish I had read the reviews before I’ve ordered. No one answers the phone or replies in a timely way to emails or website contact page. I’ve been waiting for ages for this wood now with no communication apart from we will email you when it’s ready. I ordered on the basis of the timescale they published with the order. It’s now over a week since delivery was supposed to me made. When I finally got through last week I was told ‘sorry we will chase this’ but nothing since. I wish companies would be realistic in their delivery times so customers can make an informed decision. This simply isn’t good enough. Wood sheets if you read this - please get my order to me this week or cancel and refund. I’m sick of waiting - I have an order myself that I need to get out and I need the wood!!!!

The service from Woodsheets was brilliant. Not only was the order delivered fairly quickly but they checked that I was happy with the order and that the measurements for my project I am working on were right. I will be ordering again soon.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration regarding order #14000114571, which I placed on 8 October 2025 and cancelled on the same day.
The order was cancelled immediately and later confirmed in writing by your team. Despite this, the items were delivered almost a month later — something absolutely unacceptable, even if the order had not been cancelled in the first place.
This situation has been handled with an alarming lack of professionalism. I have sent multiple emails, made repeated phone calls, and have been consistently ignored. Your customer service has been appalling — unresponsive, unreliable, and completely dismissive of basic consumer rights. This is, without question, the worst experience I have ever had with any company.
Timeline Summary
• 8 October 2025: Order placed and cancellation requested the same day.
• 15 October 2025: Your email confirmed part of the order was cancelled (“only the shelf has been cancelled”), but also stated it had been “cancelled on paperwork,” suggesting the full order was stopped.
• 15–30 October 2025: I followed up twice to confirm the refund. No response received.
• 3 November 2025: After a phone call, I received an email from Hayley confirming that the entire order had been stopped and that a full refund would be processed within 14 working days.
• 4 November 2025: The order was delivered without my permission, despite the above agreement.
• 5 November 2025: I followed up by email and made two phone calls (09:18 and 10:10) to your customer service number (0116 482 8222), but no response was received.
Breach of Consumer Rights
Your company has failed to meet even the most basic standards of service. The items were delivered after cancellation and against written confirmation, in clear breach of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. I am legally entitled to a full refund within 14 days of cancellation — a deadline that has long passed.
I am deeply disappointed by how this situation has been handled. The complete lack of accountability and communication from your company has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others not to purchase from your company under any circumstances.
Required Action
1. Immediate processing of the full refund (£355.39) to the original payment method (PayPal).
2. Written confirmation that the refund has been initiated.
3. Collection arrangements for the delivered items, at your company’s cost.

I paid £26 for express delivery and the products didn't arrive for over a week. I still have not, as yet received the promised refund.
The worst thing though, is that it is almost impossible to communicate with this company. They NEVER answer the phone and RARELY respond to e- mails.
The whole experience was very stressful. NEVER AGAIN!

Order was meant to be delivered yesterday and customer service aren’t able to tell me where my order is as apparently there’s no update from the warehouse. Really terrible service, with no updates and no approximate time of delivery. Won’t be using them again in the future.

Absolutely shocking service, ordered on the 5th Oct it stated to be delivered between 9th and 11th oct. We have rung twice to chase up the order, both times we were told they would ring back and they never did. Emailed to ask for a refund as we have done the job that we needed the wood for as we have been waiting 3 weeks and counting and been totally ignored.

I have been waiting two weeks for an order which was supposed to be delivered in 8 days. It's extremely difficult to find a customer service rep on the phone and wnen you do they lie to you about your order having been shipped which is clearly not the case. I would advise to look elsewhere, I will be requesting a refund.

Initially terrible customer service. It took 2 and a half weeks to cut a pice of wood. I phoned 3 times in the final week and they made promises about delivery that turned out not to be true.
However, once I placed a review on Trustpilot their response was excellent with next day delivery.

Absolute joke.
Only ordered one end panel which took 2 weeks to arrive, fair enough. But the edge band was on the wrong edge, emailed asking for returns info and the correct panel to be sent, got an almost instant email in return asking for photos which I sent straight away.
Now 2 weeks of silence!
3 emails unanswered! Need one panel to finish my utility room and still waiting but no reply and no refund! DO NOT USE.

First order arrived perfectly within days, this was either a fluke or the strategy to get repeat money. Placed an order of over £100 on 29th Sept, multiple calls to an unanswered number, no returned calls from voice messages so logged enquiry via website. Got a reply on 14th October advising order been chased up. Now 29th October, no further updates, no reply to phonecall, email or WhatsApp requesting update.
I now don't believe that I'm receiving my wood and will be contacting my credit card company advising no goods received for payment and opening a claim with them

This service is great. It is so helpful to be able to get wood products cut to any size that you require for such a fair price. I only wanted a small piece, but when it arrived it was good quality, cut and sent with no problems.
I enjoy DIY and will be using this firm again.

Ordered 2 sheets of precut wood. Waited weeks and weeks. Chased the order, and eventually it arrived. One piece was fine, the other was clearly someone else's order (wrong size, wrong material), so I raised a support ticket. That was weeks ago. No comms, no sign of the missing order. Looking at all the other reviews, this is clearly a business in trouble. You won't get your order and if you do it'll be wrong and probably too late to claim. Use someone else. There are plenty of alternative cut-to-order businesses online.

They sent the wrong colour mdf and they are now refusing to refund or provide the correct colour.
If this is rectified I will remove the review.

my first order on 22/09/25 arrived on 03/10/25 was damaged - edge banding not stuck properly and very dirty work
i sent an email which wasnt answered - i called them and a relacement was sent
the replacements arrived on 18/10/25 and were chiped and damaged i called for a refund which was not sent. i callled again and got my refund

My son loves Lego and I was looking for a long, wide shelf on which to display his building skills. I found WoodSheets.com on the internet and it was easy to order the exact size, finish and colour that I wanted. At check-out the total price including shipping was calculated. It arrived solidly packaged - albeit 1-2 weeks later than initially scheduled. However, apart from a small delay, I am very happy with the product. It looks amazing and is of good quality. The shelf is solid wood and will not warp like eg. cheap chipboard. I put it up with large brackets (… from a well known internet shop). It looks fantastic and my son is very happy - as am I; the shelf has tidied much of his Lego in one place now :)
I can fully recommend WoodSheets.com for bespoke shelving products.
Ordered, paid and heard nothing for weeks. Finally managed to get a response and told it would be with me shortly. When it arrived it is totally substandard. Every single cut is wonky, all four corners have different off centred radius, when they should have been identical. Frankly if whoever cut was drunk and wore a blindfold they would still probably have done a better job. Avoid this company like the plague, they ship shoddy products and very plainly don't care about their customers.
