It must be boring working for this company & constantly having to sort bad reviews.
Your time could be better spent simply doing your job of delivering the product people have paid for.

I've been waiting 3 weeks for a part with still no ETA.

Refund requested today, that better not take 3 weeks to be completed!!!

I have now been waiting 16 days for my order, still no confirmation of the goods being ready. I was provided with a delivery time for 5 days ago, this has still not arrived and no further updates. I have since emailed again and tried to call. When anyone answers the phone you get told the production line isn’t working or you get told you’re being diverted to customer services which goes straight to voice mail. I have left a voice message, again, no reply. This is shocking customer service, I wouldn’t use this company again.

The ordering process was straightforward, and the sheets of ply were cut exactly to size. They arrived well packed.

The cut wood itself is very good quality — honestly, that part deserves 5 stars.

Unfortunately, the packaging was completely overkill. There was far too much cardboard and packing material. It took me nearly an hour to cut everything down into small pieces just so it would fit into my recycling bin, and the bin ended up completely full afterwards.

Where I live, recycling collection is only every two weeks, and we are not allowed to leave extra cardboard next to the bin because it will simply be left behind and not collected. Because of that, excessive packaging becomes a real problem. Some companies manage to deliver products with minimal or no unnecessary packaging at all, which is honestly a blessing compared to this experience.

The product quality and service were good, but the extreme amount of packaging seriously let the experience down for me.

Edit: Updated to 5 stars because the product itself is genuinely top quality — the only issue was that the packaging felt really overkill. I was probably a bit emotional after spending over an hour cutting up cardboard that completely overloaded my recycling bin.

Missed delivery (still none!), ignore email, don't answer phone. Avoid wasting your money.

Absolute scam company. I ordered everything and paid for express delivery, but one week later I’m still waiting for the delivery. Customer service is useless and keeps lying about the delivery date. Chris’s phone number, which he leaves on negative reviews, is inactive as well. I will be filing a claim against them for scamming customers and being dishonest!

STEER CLEAR: I wish i read the reviews. Shocking level of service from this company. Paid for vaneer mdf express delivery as i had trades people im completing some work. 3 weeks later..nothing..kepy chasing, managed twice to venetually get hold of someone in sales who forwarded me onto the customer service number where the mailbox was full. tried to get sales again and not answer. several days later and numerous wasted calls i manged to get hold of someone in the jokeingly called customer service dept. Said that my oder was in finishinh and would be dispathed later that day...nothing etc etc etc...still no idea when this will arrive.

I have made 3 calls to this business and submitted their online form to chase my order. I tried to contact them again this morning (08/05/2026) and spent 59 mins and 39 secs waiting for someone to answer the phone before giving up. I first contacted them on 23/04/2026 when I was told my order was about to be dispatched. Same story on 28/04/2026 and 30/04/2026. Then on 01/05/2026 told that a machine had broken down and my order would be completed soon. Shocking company.

I placed an order for a sheet of veneer MDF one week ago and paid for express delivery so it would arrive in time for the weekend.

I have still not received my goods and it’s impossible to get hold of Woodsheets. No one answers the phone and you can’t leave a message because their inbox is full.

I will absolutely not be ordering from Woodsheets again and will be expecting a full refund for the delivery charge! I advise anyone else to steer clear and use another supplier

I don't even know where to begin with this company. The whole experience has been completely awful.
From waiting over a month for our order to be delivered despite paying for express delivery, to being told that this would then be refunded and this never happening, being told lies about when the order would be delivered as we kept having to chase the status of the order. When we called we were always told by Hayley and other colleagues that they would be arriving the next day but they were not. This ended up costing us more money as we had workmen in that were waiting for the products which resulted in more days labour.
When we spoke to Hayley and her colleagues on the 23rd of March; despite being told the shelves would be delivered on the 19th or 20th of March, we were then told there was an issue with the production.
We have spent hours following this up, calling 15+ times and sometimes being on hold for at least half an hour each time. Sometimes, they never answer.
I requested that a manager call me back on this day but i am still waiting- 6 weeks later.
I have chased calls, left messages, e-mailed and still no progress has been made. We then had to order more brackets as we were sent the incorrect number and we have still not received these. The job is still incomplete.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! DO NOT USE THEM OR TRUST THEM!

I’ve waited nearly a month for my order and it still has not arrived. When I ‘eventually’ get a response to my emails, Natasha & Haley fob me of with excuses and say it will be on an overnight courier but this never happens. You pay enough for a delivery too. They will not answer their phone, They are total incompetence and not fit for purpose. I wish I had taken notice of their reviews before I went ahead with my order. Having had so many excuses and promises yesterday was the last day I was going to wait. I’ve now asked for my money back and I’m going to speak with my bank today. STAY AWAY FROM THESE FRAUDSTERS.

This was the second time I have used this company. I needed a small wood panel but did not have the time, inclination or facilities to buy a larger piece and cuts it down to size. I was able to order exactly what I wanted and get straight on with fitting it when it arrived within a week.

Paid for express delivery and it is still not here 8 days later. I have emailed many times and got no reply - I have also sat on the phone for 25mins with no reply. I wish I had never ordered from them and I should have read the reviews before ordering..

This company is a total nightmare I’ve been waiting for over two weeks for my order. They said on two occasions it was being processed, but I’ve still not received the shipment. After several emails no further forward. Like other people I wish I had read the reviews and would not have ordered the item. Avoid this company at all costs!!

I wish I'd read the other reviews before ordering. Placed an order on 3rd April for 3 items - 2 rectangles of plywood and one mdf shelf.

Their website specifies 'Please note at Bank Holidays orders placed after 2.00pm Friday and over the Bank Holiday weekend will not be delivered until the following Wednesday.' It is now the 23rd April, it's still not been despatched.

I emailed last Wednesday (15th) to chase up on the order and was fobbed off with the following response:

Good morning,
Thank you for contacting us.
Your order is currently in Quality Control ready to go into Packing.
Once the order is completed we will email you with your tracking details shortly, and I do apologise for the delay.

The order spent a week in 'quality control' and now the status is 'yield' on the website tracking.

I emailed twice to chase this week and have not gotten a response yet.

Update - Monday 27/04/2026
Still hasn't been dispatched despite your response to this review saying it would be despatched today. I sent a WhatsApp message to the number provided below but did not get a response - quick to respond to reviews but not very quick to do anything else.

I have finally received a response to one of my emails this morning:
Good morning,

I do apologise that your order is taking more time than we have estimated. I have issued an urgent notice on this order. This alerts our production team to have the order dispatched as quickly as possible for you and to also notifies them of the delay.
Please wait for a further email from us. We will contact you as soon as we have an update for you.

This email contradicts what Chris said in the review response (that the order would be sent out today) so I still have no idea when or even if I will receive my order! This company clearly has a communication issue.

Another update - Tuesday 28/04/2026

Got a Whatspp response from Chris saying:
Good morning,
My apologies , this order is being dispatched today. The order will be delivered tomorrow
Can you please message me when the order arrives, an I will process a discount refund to apologise for the delays.

However my order STILL hasn't been dispatched! I chased him up at 4pm as I hasn't had a dispatch email and the order status still says 'yield' but have heard nothing. It is now 25 days since I placed the order. This is completely ridiculous.

Couldn’t find any timber merchant or DIY store that could cut me a piece of MDF the size I needed so turned to the internet and found Woodsheets. Ordering was straight forward and the wood was delivered within five working days, well packaged and exactly as I had ordered.

I wish I'd just believed the other reviews but I hoped some of the bad reviews were just blips. Like so many others my order did not arrive on time, and I had to chase multiple times to get it delivered. I was told more than once it would be dispatched and it never was. I was given a tracking number that didn't work and again had to chase when the order did arrive about a day later. But the quality of the product is so poor. I ordered birch ply and paid extra for it to be lacquered. It is not lacquered. The edges are badly cut and splitting. There are marks on the wood. They aren't usable for the purpose for which they were intended. I've contacted someone multiple times about this and had one response and now it's gone silent. Just don't put yourself through ordering from these guys. It's not worth it.

Ordered a sheet of MDF cut to size to replace a broken drawer bottom. It arrived on time and fitted perfectly. I can't fault them at all.

Originally I spoke to a sales person, Ian, he was very helpful over the phone and encouraging about their product quality.
I ordered a large amount birch ply (grade B/BB) on 27 March 2026. I was advised 3-5 days for delivery. This was over Easter so I gave the company the benefit of the doubt given holiday time. I began contacting them to chase my order. I sent multiple emails and was given false delivery dates. I spoke to someone who said that in their terms and conditions they can take upto 30 days for delivery. I received an invalid shipment tracking number. I found a contact number for Chris who assists with online complaints and messaged him. I did not want to post a complaint without trying to resolve firt. He was responsive and few days later my wood has arrived (25 days after ordering) via DX overnight delivery.
The wood is extremely poor quality. The edges are rough cut with splitting into the wood. The corners have been battered. The wood is unfinished and I ordered Matt laquer which has not been completed.
I have tried calling the company numerous times today, unable to get through and have emailed customer service/ contacted Chris with no response.
Do not order from this company.
I wish I had dug deeper into the reviews before ordering from this company.

One of the worst companies I have ever bought from. I am still waiting for my order after 5 weeks. I have chased multiple times and they keep saying it’s with the drawing team and someone will check and call me back. No one ever does, the customer service is appalling.
