I was wary about using Wessex Internet as I didn’t know them but when I moved no one could give me any good broadband except them. So I contacted them on a weekend. They came back to me about 2 hours later, explained everything yet exerted no pressure. My move dates kept moving out, it was never a problem. They arranged to lay the pipes when I got the keys, laid the line through the front garden, you could not even see where it was put in when they’d finished! Two days later a great lad came to connect it up, he put the box exactly where I asked. Unfortunately it didn’t work, he spent ages trying to fix it and he explained everything to me. That was the Thursday before the bank holiday. Friday morning I panicked (as I work from home) and emailed at 07.00 asking for next steps. Didn’t need to as at 08.00 the issue was fixed and by the afternoon it was working. What a phenomenal service and to date the connection is excellent. Cannot praise them enough!

We had the A+++ Team aka Garden Team 3 visit today to bring fibre across our garden. They completed the task quickly and carefully. You wouldn’t know they had been here so neat is their work. Not only that but they were so friendly and accommodating. Thank you.

My wifi extender did not connect to the router but after a call with customer services, who talked me through the whole reboot etc, it worked.

Garden Team did an amazing and quick job in getting the fibre up to our house! Despite having difficulty finding our address, they were very communicative through the process and ensured that the garden returned to its previous state. Would 100% recommend.

Not interested in fixing the reliability issue I have with my connection and rather push me towards the sales team to upsale me to pay for installation of fibre.

In reaction to this review Wessex Internet contacted me. They admitted they could not rectify the issue with my wireless connection to their network and were no longer investing in that technology, focusing on fibre.

I got a helpful and accurate ETA from Olly our Engineer. He arrived with a “can do” attitude and set to work on restoring WiFi to my property. A technical issue might have required a postponement to “going live” but he sorted that too and returned later in the day. Everything now “humming”. Thank you Olly and thank you Wessex!

We have been waiting for a while to end our existing contract to change to Wessex All the people we have spoken to over that time have been very helpful Todays sign up with Katie who took time and care to explain everything to myself and my wife and get us through the sign up (Katie very patient Lady) thanks you made it very stress free

The shift from rural copper broadband (via Sky) to fibre (Wessex) has been transformational. That said, the provider is largely immaterial, because Fibre broadband is just such a massive step up.

Wessex, however, have been super to deal with, from the first contacts about trying gain momentum in the village in order to obtain the minimum number of households, through sign up to the contract, to installation by Garden Team 2, and final installation by the engineer, Poppy. They are a customer-oriented company, local and seem to care about the service they deliver. Three days after the installation, I have over 500MB speed throughout the property - Sky struggled with its kit to deliver any consistent signal throughout the property.

I am very pleased with every aspect of Wessex's service and highly recommended it.

Palo Palo was the installing engineer and he was a delightful, professional and friendly chap.

Wessex are a brilliant company and it’s refreshing to call and deal with a UK based company that gets things done.
