I bought the car from Vines using Used Approved. Within 8mths it failed the MOT. The service, undertaken before the MOT, overran by 1hr30, and I wasnt informed of this before the time I expected to collect the car.
The failure item was covered (luckily) within the 1yr warranty, but the other major recommendations were not, despite being priced by Vines at circa £1500 value. Due to this delay and parts requirement I had to leave the car overnight. I was unable to get to a hospital appointment the next day, without use of a car. Vines arranged a hire car for me that I then had to pay for, including the fuel used. The whole scenario was handled very poorly, and I left extremely disappointed.

The process was very smooth from booking the service to getting my car returned at the end. The staff were very polite and friendly. I was able to utilise one of the workstations in the customer waiting area so didn't waste time while I waited. That's why I don't mind travelling when there are closer dealerships to home.

Purchased an approved used car from Vines on Friday 16. No problem with with that. Getting the car ready felt a little rushed, considering they had a week to do it, but all good. In the following days I noticed a fault with the car, nothing major but a fault none the less. Here where it fails. I've contacted Vines twice and been promised a return call twice, as the people are need to speak to are conveniently 'busy' - its easy to hide behind 'busy' in a phone call - and I'm still waiting. It's this contemptuous attitude toward me, as a customer, with an issue that gets the stars. Issues arise, no problem, it's how you treat the customer and deal with the issues that tells the story about your business.
I guess they've had my money and I'm a concern of their's no longer.

My car needed a steering sensor changed as this came up on its panel. I was quoted £933 to change the part after being charged for £54 for diagnostic by my local garage!!!
I took my car to BMW VINES Guildford and to my surprise they said all is Ok , the sensor is working and the reason massage came up was because of low voltage in the battery !!!which was sorted by charging it for a nominal fee. Thank you guys for your honesty and hard work.

Vines kept me well informed on the fault finding progress on my vehicle; electrical faults can be difficult to determine, Vines diagnosed and eventually fixed and were always polite and courteous during the process.

Had a very bad experience. They kept my car for almost two days but were not able to diagnose it properly. Rather, they suggested changing a different part to solve the issue but the problem is still there. I have spent £433 on their suggestion but the problem is still there and they were just making the guess that if I change this now and then this and then this……….Their technician with 15 years of experience was not able to diagnose the problem.

The very helpful reception staff - great coffee machine. One thing I would add I was waiting whilst my car was being serviced it was cold the heating was not on for the first 2 hours not ideal for customers let alone staff.

My vehicle went into vines Guildford for a recall. Whilst this was only a recall for a minor part , the car came back gleaming and had a quick check over with some advisories.

I was very pleased to receive the car back having the recall completed and nice and clean. Highly recommend

Went in for a recall- they took good care of my car and completed the recall very quickly- theres even a lounge to wait in.

I have been bringing my car for service and repairs to this garage for about 9 years and have always been very happy with the service.
This time I was having a major service done which I think was done properly but I asked for some other things to be done and they were all forgotten or overlooked. So it’s a bit disappointing as the car will have to go back into get these things looked at. Not sure whose fault it was that these 3 additional things were forgotten no explanation was given to me just an apology. However this won’t put me off taking it back , I just have to double check myself

What is there not to say about Vines Guilford. From the dirst point of contact to delivery was excellent. Shannon and Jess are exceptional and kept me updated through out the process. Would definetly recommed this dealership and service center for any of your BMW needs. Side note Josey from the Motorad part is awesome as well.

Had a couple of potential warranty issues with my car. Booked into Vines to get them to have a look. Ed looked after me and could not have been more helpful. Everything was sorted without any fuss, clear communications and great coffee (while I waited). Very pleased with the service. Thank you

Had to wait for an MOT but completed in two and a half hours so not bad. Included free car check (tyres/brakes etc) and wash and vacuum. Good value.
