What really stood out was their excellent customer service. They have been very helpful with any questions or issues I’ve had since purchasing the car and have always been happy to assist. It’s reassuring to know that they genuinely care about their customers even after the sale.

Overall, I’m very happy with my Audi A3 and the service I received. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a car and a friendly, reliable team.

They automatically ignore you about any problems with the car. FALSE MOT. Only promises not resolution and unpleasant customer service.

We bought a used car which when test drove locally was fine as the traffic was so busy you didnt get past 25mph. But once on the motorway the car was pulling violently to the left and right.
I called immediately but there was no time to go back as it took 40 min to get there and it was ten min before closing time. They suggested it was the tracking and i should have it fixed and they would pay. The tracking fix did not work and there were badly worn track rod ends and drop links which had obvious play in when the wheel was lifted off the ground. This should of been picked up on the mot that was only few weeks old. These parts were replaced and the vehicle still pulls left and right, and worse still the gearbox failed. At this stage they resorted to shouting me down over the phone and suggesting it drove away ok so i must of done this.
They claim to be booking this vehicle in for an inspection, but god knows where as i live 90 miles away. I will update this review when i have more details as at this stage i only want a refund.

Rang and told the part is there drove 1 hour 30mins waited 20mins to be told they didn't have the part wasted fule and 3hours wouldn't recommend

They sold me a cat s car in person at there place of business & didn’t tell me. They took advantage of a female on her own buying her first car. Didn’t offer me test drive, couldn’t properly see it, as packed in other cars. Only found out from new v5. Wouldn’t accept my rejection in 30 days won’t give me refund. Going to take them to court as they ripped me off, paid £2500, £150 3 month warranty £70 delivery. Delivered with bad tracking no indicator working or back brake light. He just rushed back in his uber.
Now something happened to suspension, shocks, springs. Caused wing to rip & shred the tyre. Due to whatever damage it’s had !! I could have been hurt or injured because of this. They are now ignoring me !!!

**PLEASE STAY AWAY – Extremely disappointing experience**

I travelled all the way from Scotland to Fame Cars Ltd in Birmingham after seeing several cars advertised on their website. I was specifically looking for a reliable automatic with a full service history, under 100,000 miles and a full MOT.

I initially looked at a Honda Jazz, but noticed several issues including both wing mirrors being held together with Sellotape, a faulty registration plate light and damage to a rear panel. I asked for a reasonable reduction to cover these repairs, but the owner was extremely reluctant to negotiate and eventually only agreed to £50 off.

The test drive was very limited – essentially just up and down one street outside the garage. Unfortunately, shortly after leaving, I noticed the automatic gearbox making a concerning clunking noise. Around 15 minutes later, on the motorway, the car broke down completely and the engine warning light came on. Thankfully I managed to restart it and return to the garage.

Having travelled from Scotland and being understandably shaken after breaking down on a busy motorway, I was extremely disappointed by the response. When I explained what had happened, I was simply told by a member of staff: **"Pick another car then."** When the owner eventually came out, there was no apology or real concern, with the response being: **"Why would I sell you a broken car? We didn't know it was going to break down."**

I eventually agreed to take a Suzuki SX4 instead. It had a full service history and a full year's MOT with no advisories. The garage repaired an exhaust issue before I left, but despite everything that had happened, they refused any goodwill reduction or even an additional month's warranty.

Once back in Scotland, I noticed a knocking noise and took the car to my trusted local garage for a full inspection. They found **over £2,000 worth of work required** and raised serious concerns about the condition underneath the car. I was shown that areas underneath had been painted black, which they believed appeared to be covering up problems.

Most concerningly, despite the car having a full MOT with no advisories, my garage told me they highly doubted it would pass an MOT in its current condition.

I contacted Fame Cars for an explanation. When I asked whether they had carried out the MOT, I was told they didn't know because they have lots of cars. This was particularly concerning given that they had been working on the car themselves immediately before I bought it.

I appreciate that used cars can develop faults, but the combination of the breakdown, the complete lack of customer care, the condition of the replacement vehicle and the concerns raised by my independent garage has left me extremely disappointed.

**I strongly recommend getting any vehicle from this garage independently inspected before buying. Personally, I would not buy from Fame Cars Ltd again. PLEASE STAY AWAY.**

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

We bought a car from Fame Cars LTD and was sold an unroadworthy car. They wouldn’t let us fully test drive the car (only up and down the 20mph road) and everything seemed fine. When driving it as you would normally drive a car was when the problems started to show. Tyres valves were not seated properly and leaked slowly, suspension was bouncy round the bends and rear camber was off. Our mechanic deemed it unroadworthy and priced the repairs at £1000+.

They did offer to repair the car however they admitted that they would only use cheap aftermarket replacements and not genuine parts. We refused as they could not be trusted to repair the car properly.

The communication with Fame Cars have been horrific, they were extremely rude and disrespectful and were dragging the process of a refund out, only the promise of taking them to court did they send us a refund, but only at the last minute!

I am pregnant and needed a fully functioning family car and was sold a dangerous vehicle labelled as roadworthy.

Please only buy from Fame Cars if you want stress, exhaustion and to be spoken to like trash. They are clearly only interested in making money and show no respect or responsibility when dealing with faults.

Easy to buy from but when rang to request a paper copy of the MOT was met with verbal abuse, and told to think before I spoke and do it all online, sorry but I'm old school and like paper copies at point of sale for mots

Bought car at end of March, turbo went wrong after 2 weeks. They carried out the repair but poor comms throughout and left me chasing and without a car for almost a week. I then had to take it to a garage close to me as the replacement part was not mounted correctly causing vibration and noise within a few days.

Timing chain went wrong so 2k+ repair at my own cost after 6 weeks and 1500 miles of owning.

Took 2 months to log change with DVLA, got date of purchase wrong. After a further two months, they have put it through again generating me further paperwork with DVLA as the new document has gained a former keeper by doing this.

Better off going to a reputable garage to avoid stress
