I have to say I had an amazing experience.
Having an older M3, I'm quite particular about it. It went in for its recall and I was a bit annoyed that I had to take time out of my day to get this done.
However,
Kirsty genuinely made me feel like she not only cared for the car but loved it too. This made feel a bit more relaxed, Kirsty kept in touch with me through the day, spoke to me about things that had been found, when I got there she took time to take me out to the car, explained what they had done and wished me the best along the way.
They gave it a quick clean and a free health check and I was on my way.
I have to say that the experience was lovely and what I would expect from BMW.

I have an 11-year old BMW with the original Sat Nav that came with it. I recently had a problem with it and was so pleased that I could get an update to the database and the actual software. I didn't want to buy a more expensive modern one as I am very happy with the one I had. Brilliant service.

Fast reaction to tyre problem I had which was ad hoc with no booking. Which was sort in a fair time with great customer service.

We were very disappointed with the level of communication from Vines concerning car pick up. We were contacted to say the car was ready for collection. We drove the 25 minutes to the dealership. A very pleasant lady tried to ply us with coffee. However it was about one and a half hours before we could collect the car because it was boxed in by other cars. This meant that we could not do what we had wanted to that afternoon and wasted our time. The lady did offer drinking cups but we have already received these in the past having been Vines Customers for 25 years. Very fed up on the day

I am writing this review to warn other BMW owners about the shocking lack of care, safety awareness, and communication at the Vines of Gatwick branch.
During a service and MOT on Friday 18th September, the workshop compromised my vehicle's safety by fitting a completely mismatched rear tyre. They replaced a worn tyre with a Bridgestone Turanza T005 (a touring tyre) while leaving a Bridgestone Potenza S001 (a high-performance sports tyre) on the other side of the same axle. Mixing tyre classes across the same axle severely impacts wet-weather traction and handling. To make matters worse, Service Manager Rosie Gilles promised to call me the very next day to resolve this safety issue, but the call never came. I have been forced to drive my daily Horsham-to-Woking work commute on an unsafe axle just to meet my workplace attendance policy.
Major failures during my visit included:
• Mismatched Axle Tyres: Installed a touring tyre opposite a high-performance sport tyre, creating a safety imbalance and a permanent flaw on the digital MOT history.
• Unauthorised Billing: Carried out and charged me for a brake fluid flush that I had explicitly rejected on the online portal, and which wasn't even due until October 2026.
• Poor Workmanship & Care: The car was returned with dirty water and oil marks all over the engine cover (a repeat issue), and they forgot my complimentary car wash for the second time in a row.
• Ignored Administration: Despite assurances months ago that my profile was being transferred to the Guildford branch, Gatwick completely failed to update the system and ignored my multiple follow-up calls.
I pay premium main dealer prices because I expect premium care and a clean vehicle history. Instead, I was left with an unsafe car and ignored by management. If BMW UK cannot internally coordinate with the Vines of Guildford branch to get the correct matching Bridgestone Potenza S001 * RFT tyre fitted at their expense, I will be taking my business out of the BMW network entirely.
Avoid Gatwick if you value your safety and your car's service history.

Very helpful from Rosie service advisor as my X6M suspension broke and oil service afterward. Got same day urgent appointment and very informative details through the process. I should give 8 stars including the technician team. As two decades customer myself they are the best team nowadays.

On my last visit I unfortunately got my service date wrong but this was accommodated without much fuss and received the car looking brand new inside and out.

We had our car booked in for a service and had pre-arranged a courtesy car, but when we arrived, it was not available. We were then referred to Enterprise and given a Mini Cooper, which is not comparable to our BMW 3 Series M Sport. The whole process took almost two hours before we were able to leave with a replacement vehicle.
Unfortunately, our experience with this dealership has been very disappointing. We purchased the car from them in February 2026 and later discovered that all four tyres had different load ratings, with one tyre already worn down at the time of sale. We raised a complaint, but the dealership manager, Gary, did very little to address our concerns.
We escalated the matter to BMW Head Office, but they advised that they could not overturn the dealership's decision. Overall, we feel badly let down both during the sales process and the aftersales service. Very bad customer service!
Based on our experience, I would not recommend this dealership. We have received far better customer service elsewhere, particularly from Sytner.
