Thanks Anita for a really useful 30 minute coaching session. As a new to post SENCo there were lots of things I hadn't thought of that I could in place for September and some good ways forward in our current situation. Thank you for offering your time and expertise.

I stumbled across the offer of a free coaching session whilst scrolling mindlessly through my Facebook feed - and I'm so glad I did!

Although only for half an hour, Anita gave me me lots of tips and advice to enable me to carry them forward. None of them were particularly onerous time consuming, but all will make my day to day way of working much easier. I will be able to start with some of Anita's suggestions straightaway during the current school closures, and others I will be able to plan ahead for September and hit the ground running in the new academic year.

I will never underestimate the value of a mindless social media scroll again!

My coaching conversation with Anita came at the beginning of Week 1: home from school. I knew that I would get wise advice from Anita and was bowled over by her open offer of support.
Working with vulnerable children and those with SEND can be an isolated role even when I'm at school. Covid 19 has taken this to another level. Anita reassured me, helped me to consider my plan of action and put things into perspective for me. It was great to have a sounding board and her support was invaluable.

My coaching session with Anita was an insightful experience and really helped me to have a clear focus on what I wanted and what I need to do. It enabled me to isolate clear goals in my leadership journey. Anita was also a great help in preparing for a situation where I had to have a difficult conversation with a colleague. Thanks to her, i was able to manage a potentially explosive situation effectively. I also highly recommend the Developing your Leadership course so ably run by Anita and other colleagues.

Since being on the ‘Developing your Leadership’ programme, my life has never been the same. Through your outstanding tutelage, I have been inspired as a leader not only to develop my ‘WHY’ but also to clearly and passionately share it with my team as a vehicle to drive effective and sustained change.

Each session leaves me with an increased sense of confidence, self-awareness and self-worth as I’m afforded the opportunity to reflect deeply on my own leadership style, and develop it further.

The icing on the cake have been the exceptional one hour ‘interview’ coaching session you kindly offered me on a very short notice a day prior to my interview which successfully lands me my new leadership job.

Although we are halfway through this amazing programme, it has been an OVERWHELMING SUCCESS!!! Absolutely brilliant!!!

It was helpful to have been given some guidance before the coaching session, so I felt prepared even though I didn't know exactly what the format would be, as I've never taken part in a coaching session before.
The session was 40 minutes long and the most helpful aspects were Anita reflecting back to me what I had been saying, and this supported me to clarify my thinking, and actually begin to see firm actions to carry out, taking me to the next phase. Also her summary of our conversation, grounded the experience and gave me the confidence to take my ideas further in distinct and practical steps.
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and look forward to the follow-up session.

We genuinely feel so lucky to have had Anita come in and support and guide us for a day. The impact in just one day has been incredible. Anita offers support and guidance that makes perfect sense and is so manageable. It is easy to see from her guidance how we can improve SEND provision in our school and most importantly we are feeling inspired and boosted to see what and how we can achieve. Anita listens and supports.Her ideas can be so clearly implemented and all whilst keeping a work/life balance. A real inspiration!
