I have really enjoyed my course wit Anita. She has explained the role of the new SENCO very well and has highlighted practical ways forward for us back in our schools. I now feel more confident in moving forward with my new journey.

Anita Devi has been commissioned by our Trust to support SEND provision across the schools. As a new SENDCo, I found her session today incredibly valuable. It was instantly clear how well-informed and knowledgeable she was on SEND and supporting schools to improve their provision. The session today was well-led and I felt completely supported. Anita gave up her time at the end of the session to provide further support to myself and others. Through working with her, our school has been enabled to complete a thorough provision review and highlight what we do well and what we need to improve. Her SENDCo planner she has produced is very good quality and I can see myself using this, and ordering another next year. I would highly recommend her to other schools looking to review and improve their SEND provision.

Anita Devi was commissioned to audit the SEND provisions within our trust of schools. From the very first session Anita's depth of knowledge and guidance was breathtaking. I couldn't stop taking notes and I definitely left feeling empowered. The actual review process was informative and highlighted our key strengths. Anita allowed each school to present on their strengths from the review process, this was useful information that I will now tap into and use for future. The SEND planner is the best planner I've come across so far and I can not wait to use it. Thank you so much for your support and sharing your knowledge.

Fantastic value for money!
I booked an hour slot for Anita to visit my school and discuss SEND provision. Before the meeting I was able to send information including our SIP focus and my SEND information report which meant that Anita arrived with questions and suggestions already in place.
Knowing that we had an hour to work with made the meeting extremely productive and efficient. Anita is so knowledgeable and was able to make suggestions and share ideas that supported my own development as well as increasing my effectiveness as a SENDCo.
I would highly recommend this service to everyone and will definitely be booking more time in the future.

An excellent comminicator with empathy and a deep understanding of her field. Anita Devi listened, asked us the right questions and in a moment, we felt we were in the right hands. Network Rail hosted Anita Devi in delivering an event for younger people with Special Education Needs or Disabilities (SEND). This involved a number of volunteers from local employers in the Milton Keynes area coming to our offices to engage with younger people along with their parents or guardians. I got engaged with this activity because I viewed it as an area in which there is a huge gap of support. Anita ran the event, very much as a pilot event, with a view to repeating the approach after fine tuning and evaluation. You cannot fail to pick up on her and her team's high levels of enthusiasm, passion and empathy. I, along with some other volunteer colleagues, really enjoyed the event and look forward to being involved in future sessions. These will, I believe, be of great benefit for this particular community.

Anita is our 'go to' person for SEND expertise. We have had excellent feedback from senior staff across our Trust for the great work she has done thus far. We are extremely pleased that all of her work focuses on developing individuals and empowering people to strengthen and manage our own in-school SEND provisions. Decreasing dependency on her or ADL services.

A True Leader
A well-run event is no accident--it can only be the result of deliberate diligent leadership. The celebration of WomenEd International Day 2018 at the University of Buckingham, under Anita's leadership, proves the point. Anita coordinated speakers, guests, and the venue to create not only a smooth-running operation but also a calm relaxing environment, resulting in a focus upon the purpose of the event and a rewarding experience for all who took part.

I have been invited as keynote speaker at the Women in Education conference the last two years (2017 and 2018) chaired by Anita Devi. On both occasions I was impressed by Anita's chairing style. She brought together a group of women from school, college and university settings to consider leadership in a thought-provoking way. I was impressed with how she drew out key points from the keynote speakers' sessions and enabled the audience to actively engage with those points, whatever their roles and experiences. She has a very engaging approach which enables her to manage conflicting, controversial and diverse comments and dexterously steer the thought-challenge process. It was a pleasure to work with Anita and I hope to have the opportunity to work with her again.
