Only got back to me after 15 days once I chased with an email.

Awful service. They asked for further documents which I sent. Then they replied saying they were closing the case file as they had not heard back.

Very happy with this opportunity to receive support and reliable answers from knowledgeable staff.
Only missed out on 5 stars due to the waiting time for replies.
That is presumably down to the service being used extensively by others and perhaps staff not able to manage the workload faster.
Thankfully, my enquiry was not too urgent.

I was impressed by the quality of the information. I had a query who is responsible for the excess on my block insurance . I got a thorough reply.

The legal adviser seemed eager to avoid my question. I appreciate that the service is likely to be stretched but not reading my email, sending generic responses that appear to be cut and pasted and not directly related to the question asked are a sure way of frustrating customers, wasting adviser's time and adding to system delays.
Unfortunately the approach is often relied on by some individuals as it is effective at clearing a work task from their system and falls into that of colleagues who are more prepared to tackle issues rather than look for a quick 'out'.

My queries were complex. The answers I received were concise, with details of where to seek ongoing help. The response was greatly appreciated. It is good to know there is such help available since leasehold law is so very complicated.

They are unable to deal with leasehold issues. They are incompetent, lack of any knowledge and any ability to help. They very quickly send you to a solicitor, without explaining that a private solicitor can cost £30k-£80 or more. They do not even help in selecting a solicitor. They advised I hire a solicitor in category of the law that does not even exist.
They claimed to have come up with some training courses. These courses are so basic that they are useless.

They didn’t answer my questions

All you did was playback what I had said to you. I didn’t receive any useful advice whatsoever.

Absolutely awful service. Wasn’t allowed to explain my whole situation was only able to ask three questions. I needed extensive assistance and advice with face to face yet received gibberish in an email that was not at all helpful. What’s the point of this service if it doesn’t allow you to explain the whole situation. Absolutely pointless!

Thank you for your help with my case. The information obtained is very useful, although it does not fully resolve my problem—especially since I do not have a lawyer, whereas my opponents are three large limited liability companies, while I am an individual and thus liable with my personal assets.

The reply was not great. All issues were run together an difficult to untangle what I needed to do. It actually made me more anxious. I don’t think that this is the right way to provide advice. It needs to be a human on the other end or I might as well feed my query into ChatGPT.
