My claim had been geting delt witj for over a year now the companys communicate is poooorr, you cant get through via phone you email no response now this is suppose to be a accredited firm there licence should be revolked to practice because tje service they provide doesnt evem deserve 1 star, now the 1star is purely so I can comment

NewLaw handled my road traffic accident claim for over three years. Liability was never in dispute, yet they never got the medical evidence they told me I needed. I was passed between several case handlers and never once dealt with a qualified solicitor. Things were left until days before the court deadline, and then they told me they could no longer act as they didn't have time for the medical report. Even after that, they left a medical appointment running in my name without telling me what was going on.

When I complained this year, they promised a response and then ignored every letter and email. In my experience the service was terrible from start to finish. I would not recommend them to anyone.

You all lier absolutely disaster waiting four years for the claim can’t call doesn’t reply email send the email many times now I can’t tell it’s gonna be bankrupt to your company. I hope.

How this company is even still a company is totally beyond me. Coming up to 3 years now and absolutely northing in the way of contact from them. My work colleague who was involved in the same accident as me received his compensation about 6 months ago whilst it seems my file has been put in the bin. After numerous calls , complaints , negative reviews……nothing. I would be embarrassed to have anything to do with this place. They should be taken to court themselves.

How on earth do you get anyone to answer the phone or emails at New Law Solicitors, Cardiff??
Five years later, with my compensation awarded and agreed in November 2025....have they ever received it or have they stolen it? ....cos I have never had it.
No communication at all despite SO many calls and emails....disgusting way to treat people. New Law Solicitors should be absolutely and thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

Absolutely horrendous.
Complete lack of communication both via email and phone.
Complete fabrication of information.

I have been waiting for than two years now to receive my injury and loss of earnings claim. Now that I have signed and agreed to my settlement, I have had no contact at all from this company. I can’t even get ahold of them for an update. I have no idea what has happened to my settlement, I have received nothing. Over the whole two years I have had to chase them constantly to get anywhere with my claim. Would not recommend using this company. Awful service.

Left without clear legal representation following transfer

My personal injury claim has been ongoing since a non-fault road traffic accident on 19th May 2024.

On 29 June 2026, NewLaw informed me that they were withdrawing from the personal injury market and that my case would automatically transfer to MMA Legal from 14 July 2026. - Due to my poor experiences with New Law I did not trust that MMA would be a reputable firm.

During this requested transfer, the new solicitor I had approached advised me that New Law had not sent the correct documentation or files and rejected the claim, I attempted to then contact MMA Legal to see if the files had been transferred there which they had not, MMA Legal can no longer accept the case.

I contacted New Law again and they sent me a few PDF's to which I forwarded to another solicitor who then advised me the case file itself and a lot of relevant documentation was missing.

New Law now no longer respond to my emails and I cannot get any legal representation to settle my case, meaning I am left to self fund my treatment and rehabilitation following the accident.

New Law have significantly made the stress of this situation so much worse to the point it has made me ill and I am now taking time off work due to the stress caused by this 'Solicitor' I have since submitted a complaint to the ombudsman though I am unsure if this will bare any fruit in regards to getting my claim settled or being reimbursed for my losses.

If I could give zero I would , worst company ever almost 3 years and I knew something dodgy was going on now they’re closing up how convenient

Can't get hold of them and Paul Duggan does not reply to emails. Completely fed up.

Over 2 years still not settled. The cause of the incident was tried and prisoned in jan 25. There is no contact from anyone I ring once a month they say ill ask a manager to ring me, they never have. My case manager had left last time I rang. No I have no-one. I've rang the general number and it cuts off when I press new law. So yeah rubbish and unprofessional.

Shambolic from start to finish wish I could have given a zero, don't reply to important phone calls or emails , adding more stress to an already stressful situation, avoid at all costs

This company is the absolute worst, over 3 years I have been waiting for a claim to be paid out. Numerous times I have rang they apparently forgot to link medical reports to my account, the doctor they used completely ignored my answers, spoke over me and advised I only have 20 mins. When i requested to move to another company to process my claim I was told I had to paid. Stay well away choose a company that isn’t incompetent

Newlaw neglected me. 2yrs still got nothing. Way to late for mobile doctors to book me, reason why they cancelled court hearing. They prolong my case because the're scared attending court. 3rd party admitted fault, pysiotherapy was paid, 3 different mobile doctors was paid, auxillis car hire was paid, garage who fixed my car was paid and im the only one left alone. Car insurance is a scam and new law is a scam. Newlaw is a company who lies and cares only money.

New law cardiff took my case. They made a string of errors and were so slow. Unless I prompted them they didn't progress my case. Took months to even apply for probate then 3 months before they sent probate to the
Land registry. They compensated for the errors with 100 pounds, then at the end took it back on the final accounts.

Absolutely disgusting service\. I would not recommend this company to anyone\.

My claim has been ongoing for over 14 months, and the delays have been completely unacceptable\. I have even advised Tesco, who I am insured with, not to use this company in the future\.

When I finally saw the consultant, I was told that too much time had passed for my injuries to be properly assessed, which completely defeats the purpose of the claim process\.

I am extremely disappointed\. The entire experience has caused unnecessary stress and anxiety, and I feel badly let down from start to finish\.

Unbelievably poor. My claim took almost 5 years to settle and before it could even be finalised, they closed the department handling my case.

Literally everyone I spoke to to help move the case on didn't. I fell through endless cracks and no one worked on my case. I had to endlessly chase them to keep things moving. I was always told that they would escalate things with a superior as they didn't understand how terrible their colleagues had been. That someone would definitely contact me with the next few weeks etc etc. Not once did I think that someone I spoke with had my back, was working to help me or could be described as competent.

In the end I was fearful that the transfer of my case to another company would be lost or deleted and I'd go without any compensation so settled for almost a grand less than they estimated I could get in court as I just didn't trust them.

I'd Recommend going elsewhere if you're thinking of using them.

DO NOT USE THIS SOLICITORS AT ANY COST!!

You get passed from pillar to post over and over again for 2 years!!! To then be told they no longer hold my data and they have passed it to another solicitors! I had no notification that my personal details were being sent to another solicitors in the first place!

I am still suffering from my accident and I am waiting to be referred for a scan through New Law! No chance of that!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!
