The girl I spoke with was very helpful & kind. I had just moved house so updating my address. She had gone through the same lately so we chatted a bit about that too. Very efficient & added my vets details to the policies which I hadn't thought about. Overall excellent customer service.

Expensive and quibbles over claims
The only thing that has bumped up my review from a 1 star to a 2 is the 24/7 virtual vet service, which is very helpful.
But for the price I pay per month for my puppy, having had one claim denied, and a second claim currently being quibbled for having submitted just the relevant clinical history rather than the entire (despite the fact previous claim includes all previous clinical history) is really making me not want to renew with RKC insurance once the first year is up.
And it also was not made clear to me (as a first time pet owner) that the excess amount was per claim, not for the year, so I’ve unfortunately had multiple small trips to the vet stomach upsets, grass seed removal) that I’ve been unable to claim, despite high monthly payments.
Should’ve gone with pet plan.

We also appreciate your comments regarding the excess. The excess applicable to your cover and how this is applied is detailed within your policy documentation, but if you have any questions about this, our team will be happy to explain how it applies to your individual policy and claims.
