Excellent communication via my Petplan claims sorted efficiently and all claims processed, They genuinely care about your pets, wouldn’t use anyone else. Thank you Petplan for making a very stressful time more bearable.

They are the only pet insurance company I'd trust. They really make you feel like they care about your pet, not just about making money.

Petplan are always quick to pay my claims and have not failed to cover any treatment or medicines for my cat, who is on medication for life.Claiming is done by my vet electronically so no form filling is needed and throughout Petplan communicate with me about when and how the claim will be paid. I know I can trust them to do the best for my pet.

It was very easy to make the claim and everything went really smoothly. I felt that the way it is all done now compared to the 'old days' it is quicker, and much more 'user friendly' Great to do it online or by phone and not have to worry about the postal system holding things up..

I have used a number of different insurance companies over the years for cats and dogs and feel petplan is both user friendly, keep me informed and payed up quickly.

My dog had a life threatening illness and I claimed for the substantial amount needed via Petplan. They dealt quickly with the claim and covered the vet and veterinary hospital fees. My vet was happy for Petplan to pay them directly, which they don’t allow to it’s all pet insurers, which was also useful.

From the 1st call to enquire about wether I was able to make a claim for Hamish, the customer services representative made everything very easy to deal with and understand and put me at ease and explained carefully what I should do after I received my preauthorisation form,
The form was completed and sent back before 5pm and the next morning authorisation was approved, if that is not excellent service then I don't know what is.

I have been with Petplan for years and would not go anywhere else they easy to contact easy to put in a claim and which was paid very quickly no hassle straight forward easy would recommend

My claim was dealt with quickly, and with the utmost sensitivity and sympathy to my cat bring very unwell.
Knowing that my claim was being dealt with, meant that there was one less thing to worry about at a very concerning time.

During 14 years as customers, Petplan never let us down. In fact they exceeded our expectations. We always recommend. We’ve recently lost our girl and we’ve been treated with empathy and they even waived the excess on our final claim. If we have another dog in the future we will definitely use Petplan.

My puppy took a rare Auto immune disease, I claimed when vet bills were mounting.Easy form to fill in you contacted the vet and everything was very smooth at such a worrying time . 1st time I have ever claimed an insurance and was very pleasantly surprised how straightforward it was .

This is the second time we have had to claim through Petplan after our cat unfortunately broke his leg.
I cannot fault Petplan at all. The process was so consumer friendly and easy. The online claim form was straightforward and they kept me updated constantly.
We were paid within 2 weeks (excluding excess)
The whole process was pain free and our cat made a full recovery! Thank you.

Petplan aren't the cheapest out there BUT as they say, you get what you pay for!! They have been there many, many times for me over the years and my vet trusts them and so do I. It's that simple!! They do EXACTLY what you want when you need it most!! Thank you Petplan!!!

Ive got my 2 pet rabbits and 2 dogs insured with Petplan, i have had to make 2 claims for my Femail rabbit,
petplan was straightforward, It went straight through my vets, so i didnt need to do anything apart from give them my policy number, Petplan kept me updated on how things were progressing and paid my vets promptly,
i would highly recommend Petplan

Completely useless. They never respond to email enquiries but send plenty for reviews !!!!!!
Telephoning is also unsatisfactory as any time I have called I get someone whose English is not a first language and I cannot understand a word, not in any way discriminatory just a fact.
I pay over £300 for two dogs due to age and now find myself having to pay a % of vet fees on top of that.
I have always used Pet Plan for my dogs but won't in the future.

Answered all my queries re insuring my rescue dog ..very good customer service .
Not the cheapest on the market....I feel confident insuring my dog with them .I did my market research & decided to take out a lifetime policy as reviews were positive

After having my premium increase by 18% when I have never made a claim for either of my pets, I decided to make a complaint. What I got back was just a stock reply, probably generated by AI as they had not really acknowledged my email correctly. When I replied, I pretty much got the exact same stock reply. It's pointless trying to make a complaint as they don't actually listen to you. I'm now seriously considering looking elsewhere for my pet insurance.

Petplan is the best pet insurance I know and have been a customer for over 20 years. Petplan is also regularly endorsed by one of the most highly respected vet practioners, Dr Noel Fitzpatrick. My recent claim for my cat, Ivan who had no previous illness to date, suddenly became quite ill over Christmas and needed x-ray and ct scans to find out what was causing breathing problems. Eventually I got a diagnosis after quite a few vet visits - the vet fees alone may put a lot of pet owners off going through treatment/ surgery. With a reputable pet insurance, there is at least peace of mind that the claim put in is dealt with as a matter of urgency and was paid in a short period of time. I can't thank you enough for helping to insure and bring financial support during my crisis of my cat Ivan's health matters. He has now had his procedure and is making excellent recovery. If I didn't have Petplan insurance, I don't think I would have made the right decision and would have been insecure as to what to do, and Ivan may have been tragically put down. But Petplan gave me hope and courage to make the right decision, and Ivan is now thriving. Thank you Petplan!

Very fast payment for a recent vet visit which resulted in X-rays (not cheap). All I had to do was give the Vets my Petplan policy number and they sorted the claim direct....who could ask for more!
