I have been a Seat Derby customer for a…

I have been a Seat Derby customer for a number of years now and this time I had initially dealt with Tom and Joe.

On the day of collection of the new car Ben was who helped me out with the handover and he was great really appreciated him getting it all sorted in quick time as I had to be somewhere at a particular time.

All the team on the day were great thank you for getting sorted for me quickly.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE THEY DO NOT CARE

Avoid this dealership they have no care for customers after they have sold you a car! This has been the WORST customer service experience I have ever had. My car completely cut out at 50mph with my children in the back, it was 1 month out of warranty, 39,000 miles and I had to go back and forth battling the seriousness of what had happened to get it recovered. It went into dealership at start of February. I went to the dealership on 5th March having been told it was ready to collect. I arrived spent an hour and half in there because they hadn't washed it. I went out to it and it was still filthy as pictured, had scratches on it and had an engine light on which said "DRIVE WITH CAUTION" "EMERGENCY BRAKING NOT AVAILABLE". I could not believe that they told me my car was fixed and I got in the car which is the main transport for my kids and it said drive with caution and the brake assistance did not work! I left the dealership without my car again having travelled 45 minutes to collect it. I finally got the car back on 18th March after very little update or communication. I received a call from landrover customer relations to apologise for my experience and say that I would be offered an extended warranty of 1 year as a gesture of goodwill. On 29th March the engine management light came on so again the car had to go in to dealership which happened on 2nd April. I heard absolutely nothing from them. On wednesday 15th April I had a text to say my car was booked in on 28th April, but no communication which wasn't new I thought they were just onto it. Then this morning 17th April I receive an email with a £4000 quote for repair on the car and the Parts Manager asking me to do his job for him, and advise on what warranty I had so he could "see what level of cover it would provide"

This service is a disgrace. I have been without my car most of the year, the dealership does not communicate or care about customers. I was offered a gesture of goodwill of warranty and then sent an email quoting me £4000 for a repair on a car that should not have a fault in the first place! I have a finance agreement in place, under the consumer rights act cars should be durable, after 3 years and 39,000 mile my car has failed 3 times now. Once the car is sold you may as well forget about customer service because they don't provide any service at all. For a premium brand this dealership should be embarassed for how they have treated me as a customer. Go somewhere else if you want to be looked after.

Staff here are great

Staff here are great, no pushy salesmen, lovely gent called Daryl helped us when looking for new wheels. Very friendly, knowledgeable, good sense of humour and got us a good deal too.

Give Josh a bonus!

My mum and I popped into this branch, VW Nottingham South on our way home after looking around various other used car dealers in the area for an Audi A1. We were greeted by Josh Barnes, the used car salesman, who had excellent knowledge and expertise, especially on the basis that we showed up with no prior warning. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and explained everything inside the car to me. I booked in a test drive and he even offered to let me test drive a VW Polo to make sure I was happy with my decision. He answered all our questions and put together a great offer on the car which led to us making the purchase. Josh made us feel comfortable and was very friendly right from the beginning - always making sure we had lots of hot chocolate too! He is a credit to the store - ask for Josh if you're looking for used cars, you won't be disappointed!

A great experience

The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, not over bearing but extremely helpful. From the moment I entered the showroom to the moment I left with my new car I was looked after and all my needs were met. All the paperwork and agreements were delt with seamlessly I didn’t have to worry about anything. I happy with my new car and would recommend this dealership to anyone wanting to buy a Skoda. A big thank you to Olly who went above and beyond in making this experience trouble free.

Highly Recommend This Garage

Purchased online and had a number of…

Purchased online and had a number of issues with what I was told prior purchases to what happened after. Contacted dealer who fobbed me off saying they would book me in with my local vertu. All I was told they were waiting for local vertu to reply. Contacted vertu customer service and had no response at all. If you’re not local to the branch that you are purchasing from I’d think twice.

Great service buying a second hand car

My daughter and I had been looking for her first car. We had been to several other local dealers and even though we had booked an appointment the salesmen we met knew little about the cars we test drove. I think I told them more about the car than they knew. We came to this branch VW SOUTH NOTTS on the way home just on a whim and took a look at a car we had seen advertised. We were met by Josh Barnes the used car salesman. To say we had called in on a whim we were impressed as he appeared to know quite a lot about the vehicle we were interested in. A subsequent test drive was organised and we went on to purchase the vehicle. I think the way Josh dealt with our enquiry went a long way to help us to decide to purchase the vehicle. He had lots of knowledge of the make of vehicle even though it wasn’t a VW. So enough said thank you for your excellent service Josh. (And hot chocolate!)
