I recently purchased an ex-demonstrator BYD Atto 3 Evo Excellence from Vertu and had a very positive experience throughout.
Sophie, who looked after me from my initial enquiry through to delivery, was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. There was absolutely no pressure to buy, and she made the whole process relaxed and straightforward, answering all my questions and keeping me informed every step of the way.
Having spent 25 years as a General Sales Manager at a Subaru main dealer before retiring, I've experienced the motor trade from the other side of the desk. It was refreshing to be treated so well as a customer.
Collection day was a lovely touch too, with the car revealed under a cover, making it feel like a special occasion. The whole team were welcoming and helpful, and I have to say they make a very good cup of coffee as well!
I'm delighted with the car and wouldn't hesitate to recommend both Sophie and the dealership to anyone considering a BYD. Thank you for making the experience such an enjoyable one.

I only went into Gloucester Vertu BYD simply to look at a BYD Seal (and see if I could get a test drive)! - I had already ordered one through a leasing company, but never physially seen one. The service received from Harvey and Gareth, coupled with the price they were able to offer, resulted in me cancelling the original order and leasing through Vertu. Professional throughout and brilliant customer service.

From the moment we walked
into the dealership, we were made to feel genuinely welcome. the salesperson was fantastic throughout the entire process—friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything about the car, answered all of our questions clearly, and made sure we felt completely comfortable with our decision.

A Shame
Enquired about a 26 plate Seal, and all was going great until they advised the roof glass was split.
After a bit of emails back and forth, with the dealer trying to establish a sale, I decided to cancel the sale and asked for my £99 holding deposit to be refunded (this did not happen) after a bit of further communication, they decide totally ignoring me was the best way forward for them.
Up until that point they had been ok,
It is a shame they were not very helpful in the end, they had the car I wanted, but clearly did not want my business, but were happy to hang onto my reservation deposit.

Pressure free purchase. Great communication. I have bought several new cars over the years. The experience can be daunting with loads of pressure to buy extras and stressful negotiations.
