Really bad

Sent packages from UK to Spain.
They requested me over and over the same documents more than 7-8 times and I have provided them. It is currently 3 months that they are finding excuses in order to do not release them, like the Brexit issues ect. I have asked to send them back to the sender as I will be on time to buy a flight and bring them with me as Covid now permits it, they are currently avoiding it and delay this process. These packages are lost and they do not want to admit it, therefore they are lying because of that. Cs is the worst worldwide, if they do not pretend to pick your call, the only thing they say is that you have yo wait. Start a legal action is the only way to probabily let them take you in serious. Spoken with the same superior twice, she shout at me and end the call because I have asked to let me speak as she was only keeping repeating that I needed only to wait. Really hostile and unprofessional. If you think to rely on them to move your stuff, change your mind. Lots of most professional company, that treats you decent are available, definetely better organised.

Left parcel unattended in a block of flats and it got stolen

My parcel was left downstairs in a block of flats (with 50 flats in it!) in a recycling bin! It's basically the same as leaving it on the street. The driver didn't bother ringing my door (I stayed home all day waiting for it), didn't send a notification that it was delivered - I only figured out hours later when I started getting worried and checked the tracking. The parcel worth £200 is obviously gone and is probably already on Ebay now. My buzzer works fine, I got another delivery the same day. Also the day before I tried changing delivery to click and collect, but apparently you can only do after a delivery attempt, for some reason. Thanks UPS.

If could give no star I would I have been waiting on a order which needs a signature so as I work I had it sent to my local shop which is open till 11 pm received a notification saying they tried to deliver but no one there to sign for it total BS ...says they will try next working day again BS have emailed customer service no reply frustrated is not the word

NEVER AGAIN.

Ordered an item on Ebay for £214 and the seller sent the item by UPS.
Trying to track the item on the UPS website to find out when it was being delivered, so i could be at home was a waste of time. No email sent as to when it was arriving. The driver came while i was at work and rang the bell twice. He left the parcel on the doorstep knowing there was no one at home.
The parcel required a signature so not sure who signed.
Fortunately i have security cameras and i watched him leave the parcel. I came home from work straight away and the parcel was still there. Its quite a busy area and the parcel was in full sight of people passing by. It could have been stolen and then i would have had the hassle of trying to prove i had not received the item. On their website they claim they leave a card so you can arrange redelivery.
I will never knowingly order from any company that uses UPS again.

JUST TOO MUCH TROUBLE TO DO THE JOB PROPERLY !!! DOWNRIGHT ABSOLUTELY APPALLING BUNCH !!!

This company do not deserve to be in business. 1 star is 2 too many. They handled an import from Europe for me, tried to deliver it to the wrong address on the first attempt and then demanded a random sum in VAT that had no connection to the invoice for the goods at the second delivery attempt , surprisingly at our address. Rather than take notice of the invoice supplied to them, they then demanded a payment of over 100% more than the VAT applicable. Refusing to correct their mistake , I was informed that if I wanted my parcel I would have to pay their stipulated amount. They then informed me that their mistake could be rectified by me claiming the overpayment from HMRC, also informing me that HMRC had a response time of 42 days. Typical Yank concern... screw it up and then leave it to others to put right and at someone else's time and expense.
I think that I will refuse to deal with any company that uses these cowboys as a means of delivery in future.
Their advertised customer services are a complete joke. Two customer service staff told me that they were unable to help with my problem as they were not allowed to contact the tax/duty department concerned. neither were they able to give me a phone number for the Tax/duty department. When I requested the address of their main office in the UK for my solicitor to write to I was told that they were not allowed to give out that information either. Again, obviously a Yank outfit as no responsibility is accepted for anything they get wrong. I would suggest that the above is an aggressive commercial practice, which to my understanding is illegal if proven
BEWARE and be Warned and find and use another company if you can.
Disgraceful Lack of Customer Service and Welfare and with Extortionate Practices and Bully Boy Tactics that are thoroughly uncalled for and distressing to pensioners of our age. Not what you would hope for or expect in these times.
If this is progress ..you can keep it!
ps, DPD send me a delivery window of one hour.😀
Be good if UPS could get the week right 😡

Polite on the phone, but terrible website

When their tracking data is updated, it shows that they're delivering the parcel the day it was sent...
How? How can that happen?

The answer is... it can't. Their trackers are useless.

I tried to order a shipment with them, went through to the payment stage on the website and it failed to take payment due to "Internal security measures".

Customer support told me to call Tech support.
Tech support told me they would get billing to call me. I've still heard nothing.

I have the payment (which was split into 2 transactions for some reason) pending on my paypal, and I when trying to speak to somebody to sort it out, I've been bounced from one department to another and waiting on a call back.

They're very polite on the phone, which is the one single saving grace, but their software and procedures are absolutely inadequate in every single way.

They did however managed to deliver a parcel which had the wrong post code on it which was unexpected, especially as their tracking data showed nothing that made sense.

Was supposed to have had a parcel…

Was supposed to have had a parcel delivered by 1pm today and it never arrived. So i looked at the reviews for them on here and my blood ran cold when i seen all the very bad reviews. The company i purchased my parcel from was bad enough but this ups company is clearly even worse. I am fed up of all these rubbish businesses! Sort it out or shut down. Typical American business....It arrived a day late so not too bad but still not good enough considering we are in 2021.

Possible the worst currier company in the UK

Oh dear, where do I start, absolutely the worst currier company in the UK, promised delivery dates what never happens, impossible to contact anyone and when you do, they blatantly lie, emails what are never answered, say they have delivered your items when they haven't, forgetting a lot of people have ring doorbells proving them liars, blaming Brexit and customs and the virus, infact I think the management have meetings on what bs they can come up with next to upset the customer's, anyone who is happy with this company is lying, absolutely shambles, if you want to lose money, lose your parcels, lose business, use this company.

Worst company in the world

I would like to give UPS no stars at all. They are the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Having been given a delivery date and time, nothing arrived. No update was provided and the tracking information continued to say the same date and time for delivery. After 3 days and no further updates I emailed customer services to be told that the package was classed as missing and an investigation was needed. Followed by instructions that I was the one who had to initiate the investigation because they lost my package. Are you f@cking serious?! I told them it was their responsibility and go nothing further. Having still not received my package or a response I tried ringing the UK customer service number. The robot told me the same useless "delievery" information then at last gave me the option to speak to an agent. This was followed by an automated message and then the call terminated. So I tried the live chat. After telling the robot repeatedly I wanted to speak to a real person I finally managed to get somewhere. The person I spoke with told me which depot the package was at and again that an investigation was needed, but then said she couldn't help further because she was in America. I was put through to an international department who said they would get someone from UK customer services to ring. Needless to say, still nothing. Having gone back to the supplier and informed them of progress, they were shocked UPS asked me to begin the investigation and they would speak to their account manager. The only information they could get was for UPS to confirm they had lost my package. Well ain't that just spiffy. Are they going to do anything about it? No. Do they care? No. So it is now left to the supplier to resend me what I ordered free of charge. All the problems lie with UPS yet it is costing the supplier and myself. To top it off they send me a survey to rate my experience. Literally laughed out loud. Filled it in, hit submit, get an error because I gave them a 0 on their 0 - 10 scale. Guess they only want to hear from people who like them. I hope no one ever has to deal with them, and please, for the love of all that is holy, DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

most useless customer services

Firstly they do not accept UK cards to pay for shipment from an EU country, secondly they DO NOT TAKE ITEMS OLDER THAN 6 MONTHS!!!! So how to use your services when moving houses?? Also when you do this through the website no one checks how old the goods are! Spent bloody ages on the phone only to receive contradicting information. AVOID AT ALL COSTS to save yourself an aggravation.

Package stuck in Stanford Le Hope Depot

Western Digital have had two attempts to send me a package from the Netherlands. Supposed to be a 3/5 business day delivery. Blaming Brexit of course.

Package arrived at the Stanford Le Hope depot on 1st April, still waiting for shipment from the depot, no status information available other than "In Transit:On Time" which is a complete joke.

My advice, avoid UPS until they get their act together.

An absolute joke of a company

An absolute joke of a company, for the last three days it’s gone from out for delivery to delayed to out for delivery to out for delivery and back to delayed with no scheduled date.
When you try to call them it a series of automated messages and no way of talking to a human or get any answers.

If I could give a zero

If I could give a zero, I would. Package was shipped by my sister in law on 13 January for my partners birthday on 20 January. It's now 8 April. I've lost count of how many phone calls made & emails sent. They've even got me to email them their own invoice number & their own waybill number.

Customer Service is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. They do nothing, confirm nothing, and refuse to escalate. They have no response timescales. They blame Covid, Brexit & UK Customs but apparently can ship the package from Stanford Le Hope to Castle Donnington & back at will - no package impounded by UK Customs can be moved around like that!

All I want if for my partners birthday card, treats & t-shirt to arrive after 12 weeks.

One of the biggest - one of the worst

Website is atrocious and difficult to navigate.
Updates are meaningless since they intimate that a package is "in transit" yet you can see it's been stuck at a delivery point for days! (11 days from Netherlands to UK!).

Every single package is "by end of day" - how come all the others can give me a 2hr time window yet UPS, one of the biggest in the world, cannot!?

AVOID - Always have issues with deliveries…

Always have issues with deliveries through UPS. Damaged items, missing items & nobody to help. Another delivery expected yesterday & no one to contact to find out more & the app tells you nothing. Joke of a delivery company. Many better & more reliable options. Update - days later & still cannot speak to anybody through their system - totally disgusting customer service - AVOID

Send an item to The Netherlands for…

Send an item to The Netherlands for repair filled all the paperwork, upon return UPS wants me to pay £65 to get an item which custom and duties have already been paid on to pay again
Now trying to contact them been waiting for nearly 2hrs. Do they have anyone working and answering phone calls

Not good enough

Gave a massive four hour delivery window and still waiting. I will in future check to see what delivery service sellers are using, and will only use DPD. They text you in advance, so if you’re not going to be in you can change the date. And on the day they give you an hour delivery window, and I’ve never failed me yet

F U, UPS

Terrible. The problem is (I’m in the UK) is that a lot of the UPS ‘Access Points’ are simply franchises which often licensed out to any old idiot. As was in my situation - UPS Access Point, Shrewsbury SY3 8PF - they didn’t text me the tracking number as they claimed, and lost my parcel, probably stealing it for all I know. Just the worst company.

My company is being charged nearly £200 for a parcel we cancelled. But because the person in the EU sent it, despite cancelling, we are still being charge.

Wouldn't be so bad but since I cancelled I didn't even get the order.

Pointless company, avoid at all costs
