Steer far away from this cheaper version of Ring Door bell.
1. Batteries last max 3 weeks before having to be recharged
2. CONSTANTLY goes offline
3.Rarely detects someone at the door, even when they are right in front of the camera
4. I bought 2 spare batteries and one of them was a dud and will not charge.
5. Every single function costs additional monthly fees to use
Advice- don’t go cheap Chinese, you get what you pay for, this product is an absolute DUD!

Rubbish doorbell batteries die very rapidly and awkward to charge and takes a long time to charge. Don’t have any details where I can return it and complain.
It took ages to arrive by post on a slow boat from China. Wish I had read reviews before as I would not have bought it. Paid a lot for a product that does not work.

I used to like all the functionalities of their App. Widgets and compatibility with most stuff from other vendors. I only used it for all my wifi-connected iot (mostly bulbs) so I could create scenes, moods, schedules and everything worked within a widget in my phone. Sadly the app turned into another facebook-tier spyware. And even my review on the app store was deleted for mentioning that? Not sure if I'm overreacting, but the App does not work if I don't give permission for GPS and BT tracking. I don't need that. And if I bought a device that works on wifi I expect to use that wifi feature. I understand they can offer improved functionality with location enabled. But I don't need it, and the app refuses to work at all without location enabled, hence my harsh comment.

I would have rated this lower unfortunately there isn't an option somebody rang my doorbell five minutes after they have left it rang me to say there was somebody at the door it continually identifies people passing but is not quick enough actually to get a photograph you are going to notify tuya of my comments good luck with that they won't speak to anybody and they advertising the UK as a British site I bought thinking it was a British site and was shocked that it was a Chinese site and it cost me 109 pounds their reviews of this product would seem to have been written by themselves because in noway reviews represent the product

They sell a door that can't be remotely locked, let that sink in for a moment.

Bought a Tuya wireless doorbell does not let you answer the door remotely via phone, batteries are shocking total waste of money,DO NOT BUY

What a bad company dont buy bought door bell thought ownership by a decent company show as uk but unfortunately china says it will refunded if not happy but when not working item faulty they now say pay I need to pay shipping and taxes If i had know it was Chinese company i would have not bought

Utter junk..worked as a door bell as in it went ding dong, but app would not connect unless the phone was sat next to the doorbell why do we buy these crap products dont waste your time or money

I bought a intelligent alarm system for monitoring water levels in a sump. The unit was sold as being able to do this. It is the most poorly designed and built piece of kit I have encountered for many years. Unbelievably, you have to undertake a fiddly construction job with the parts that arrive. You would expect the USB charger to simply plug into the unit on the outside, but no, you have to take the back off to plug it in and then route it out of the unit along with the connection for any sensors. The connector comes with the unit but fitting it into the back is very difficult indeed.
Then you have the float based sensor which is cheap rubbish, Finally you have add on purchases of wifi sensors but they are not waterproof....???
Oh and finally, they include in the package some random resistors! The operating instructions were clearly written in a foreign language and translated by google translate after a few beers. And, if you want a really good laugh, try to find any user instructions on YouTube. So amateurly filmed with the person mumbling or, the other one I found had the commentary in spannish even though it was meant to be in English.

Smart IR remote works very well in controlling my Air Conditions in my house. Also works well with Google Home.

So the bell works Ok, reasonable picture, sound is dreadful
My problem is that after half hour or so it just stops working, the only way to remedy it is to remove the batteries and put them back in and it starts working again
I guess you get what you pay for but I think I shall get something else, I used to have a Ring doorbell but the battery life was shocking and awkward to recharge, maybe get myself a cheap ding dong bell
Lesson learned

Support incompétent dans 95% des demandes! Produit basse consommation ne respectant même pas les protocoles de base IP (DHCP)!
Très peu de correction des firmwares, aucune relation entre Tuya et les fabricants! Non respect RGPD: juste la liste des appareils est exporté, pas les données qu'ils utilisent pour d'autre service qui proviennent de ces appareils. Aucune confidentialité.. le mot de passe wifi s'affiche en clair, non masqué dans l'app (toujours pas corrigé). Pas d'accès à l'IP des appareils; Tuya refuse de le partager (pourtant IP privé ! donc vol de donné privé, encore). Parfois grosse lenteur cloud, pas fiable. Les notifications de sécurités/maison ont été supprimé sans prévenir dans les dernières mise à jour alors que l'option est toujours affiché mais non fonctionnelle.. (voulu d'après le support, mais sans explication).
Appareils utilisant le reseau Tuya avec très bon rapport fonction/prix. Compatible souvent avec GoogleHome.

I really like the doorbell camera. Seems to work pretty good so far. The prices are reasonable for a subscription, although the plans seem confusing on which one to get and the features of has, at least to me it was. This was the third type of doorbell camera I've bought and I like this brand the most by far. I'm sure there's nicer and better ones out there but for the price and features of this one I will keep using it. Been like a year now already. Anyway this just my opinion of it.

App installed with an emergency button (€30,-), for my elderly mother. In an emergency she could press the button and we come urgently to provide help. Also purchased text and telephone messages for €30,-. App didn't work properly, was not reliaibel. Mother pressed the button, no messages, no phone calls, nothing. Several times. Incompetent system. Scammers.

Piece of junk. Threw it out

Purchased a door bell from Tuya OEM.
Fitted the door bell. Worked well for a month then failed.
Requested return via pay pal. Then received messages on my watsap from the supplier. Misleading advice given to avoid a return.
Pay pal no help at all. Company offered $25, joke. The bell is dead, what use is $25.
$92 down the toilet.

Had it for a few months now. The camera and bell are fine but the response time to ring your phone through the app is so slow the person will have driven off before you can open the link. I guess the server is in China!

I have bought bulbs and used this app...seems to work fine so I purchase expensive pelmet lights and it uses the same app
Nothing but issues...I must have readied the devices under ever option and the controls are never the same, the options don't work and I've tried to ask for support help for a month now with no contact
I'm so frustrated as I cannot use my lovely new lights properly and can't seem to use any other apps to control them!!!!!!!!
