These people are are worse than temu if you count on their security home products you may as well leave your front door open. Junk is what they sale . May work for a few hours but all in all you won’t be able to tell their merchandise from that in which you pull out the garbage. People be careful of these rip off artist…

If you've got an Android.... run a mile. Had nothing but issues on my Android. Yet the moment my partners iPhone tries, absolutely sound. Every troubleshooting exercise tells me it's and issue with my WiFi, but funny that every other device we run works perfect I find it hard to believe. Even went as far as to split the 2.5ghz and 5ghz signals through the router to no avail.
We have top spec WiFi, and have never had an issue, so when a device then solely blames internet connection as in issue it's extremely hard to believe.
Understand there's a preference in mobiles, but for it to be completely unusable on an Android, it should probably be advertised as iPhone/IOS only

If I could give this less than one star I absolutely would. This app is pathetic. It is mostly off line when you need it the most. You can never turn lights on when you want to. I HATE this. I will eventually replace these lights just to be rid of this app. DO NOT BE TEMPTED by their marketing bullshit. WOrst mistake I ever made.

The second time I needed to charge the battery it failed to take on any charge at all. Very disappointing. Won’t buy another.

DON’T CALL TUYA UNTIL YOU READ THIS. From there app they promote getting a text to advice you if the appliance connected to your Tuya DEVICE goes off (could be due to power cut etc) I thought this was a good idea and subscribed and paid the monthly subscription. As I never got the notification text when an appliance did turn of, I decided to call them. I looked at the cost to call their phone number on Google and the details stated it was only 2.5p a minute so I called them but unfortunately the lady from China was not able to understand me. She asked for my email and read it back to me about 12 to 15 times due to her not understanding the english language. In the end I gave up. Next I get my phone bill which was £36!!!! Partly my fault as the charge was based on a landline and Vodafone charge 55p a minute plus a service charge.

Playback worked for about 3 weeks , then stopped working, alarm is still taking photos but when I go to play the scene it stops working.
Not very impressed.

De mensen van de klantendienst zijn echt super! Ik had een toestel overgekocht en die was blijkbaar nog niet afgekoppeld van de vorige gebruiker (ik had deze gekocht via een herverkoper van een winkel) De winkel van het toestel zei telkens dat ze dat niet konden en verwees me door naar Tuya. Tuya daarop liet me weten dat de fabrikant dit moest doen want dat zij er het recht niet toe hebben omwille van het recht op privacy. Toen ik dit liet weten aan de winkel en fabrikant bleef deze moeilijk doen, bleef zeggen dat ze dat niet konden.. kortom ze wouden me gewoon niet helpen, integendeel. Op een gegeven moment zeiden ze dat ik beter een ander toestel kocht. Ze deden alsof het mijn schuld was! Daar zat ik dan met een toestel dat niet werkte + men geld kwijt. Ik heb dit gemeld aan Tuya waarop zij contact opgenomen hebben met de fabrikant om mijn toestel af te koppelen. En wat denk je, mijn toestel was ineens afgekoppeld. Na 4 maanden vol problemen, stress en ellende beginnend met de herverkoper, gevolgd door de winkel en de fabrikant zelf, kan ik nu eindelijk dankzij Tuya het toestel installeren en gebruiken. Ik ben hen dan ook enorm dankbaar. Zonder hen was het nooit gelukt. Dag en nacht stond er iemand van het team paraat. Dit is pas een klantendienst! Bedankt voor alles mensen van Tuya! 😃🙏🏼

Just coming by to express the level of appreciation that I have for this company and the developers, you guys enable some crazy level of automation on people's house with home assistant, with some incredible support!!
Shoutout to the last support that I had; the issue was solved in no time.
Love you guys, and thanks for supporting the home assistant community!!

I have 3 different tuya devices:
1. Smart power socket works well
2. Door alarm - disconnected after couple of days - won't reconnect. Awfull settings and huge delay on alert.
3. Smart doorbel - within 2 years both of them broke due to different reasons.
Won't buy tuya products any more
Bad integration with Google home

Wireless video doorbell-had to stop using it as getting incessant notifications of persons at front door triggered by cars in street, pedestrians walking past even across the road, also movement of leaves.
Batteries had to be charged for 10 hours every fe weeks and the problem of having to remove the camera from its housing was really complex. The app was extremely slow to respond and most instances of of trying to use the app to respond to callers took too long to be useful. Just a complete waste of money.

Also there seet to be no customer service and no response to any requests for assistance and information.

Acheter un aspirateur vortex-complètement inutile. Pas de connexion au wifi, pas de bon aspiration, pas de bon support. Je déconseillé.

Got the smart doorbell. Tried to connect it via the app and got message to say it was already pared to another user so wont connect. Reported the situation through the app hoping for resolution and have never got a response. Have now given up on it. Completely useless. Avoid

I piu disonesti di tutti. Come tante altre aziende oramai quando hanno abbastanza utenti a cui rubare tutti i dati sensibili di telecamere e oggetti Smart, incominciano a cambiare le condizioni di utilizzo. E senza neanche avvisarti facendoti passare per scemo, hanno bloccato le connessioni VPN in particolare da proton e nessun dispositivo si puo piu controllare a distanza. Queste aziende andrebbero messe al bando e incarcerato i proprietari e gli ad. Schifosi soldi buttati. Vergogna

J'ai acheté une nouvelle caméra de marque Denver utilisant Tuya smart. Lorsque j'ai voulu la connecter, il m'a été signalé que la caméra était déjà liée à un autre compte, j'ai demandé la réinitialisation à Tuya afin de pouvoir la connecter à mon compte il y a plus de 2 mois. Aucune réponse de leur part malgré une dizaine de rappels. Service après vente inexistant, caméra bonne pour la poubelle.

the guide lines for using/selecting and connecting product (doorbell) are so small they are unreadable in phone portrait mode and will not go to landscape mode. The product would not connect automatically during pairing. Manual selection is difficult it is not obvious which section holds the product you are looking for. When the product is up and running if your broadband is updated and has a new password for the system the chat bot on the help page asks you to completely reset the individual items one by one considering the number of products you could be running on tuya system it would be enough to make you weep not to mention the number of hours it would take. The system is not intuitive or user friendly.

Catastrophique. ça a fonctionné trois mois et depuis, gros n'importe quoi, se déconnecte du wifi continuellement. Service en javanais, répète toujours les mêmes trucs sans queue ni tête. Bref j'aurais balancé 600 boules par la fenêtre ça aurait été pareil. Vendu chez bricoman, merci !
