It was convenient to have it at home.

Was much later than texted, blamed the company for that. Said he lived in Swadlincote but had to go to Burton to collect his tools before coming to Ashby which didn't make any sense. Spent a lot of time sitting in his cab. Spent less than an hour at my house when I was told it would take up to two hours. Didn't even switch the engine on. Didnt see him check the tyres.

Arrived 10mins before my booked appointment to be told that i had been advised by smart care that they had given me the wrong time and i would have to wait 2 hours until they could see the car. It wasnt worth going home due to the distance involved, so i ended up in a cafe for 1.45hrs before going back. Luckily it didnt mess up any other business i had that day. The garage advised me that i wasnt the first that this had happened to using smart care.Would i use it again - probably not as i could not rely on it.

Easy to book,competitive prices,flexible fitting arrangements.

Easy to book. Dropped at garage. Guy said would phone me when job completed. Only been home 20 mins when got call. If garage would have said job would only take 20 mins would have waited. Otherwise all good.

Following the anxiety of trying to find a reliable value for money garage to do my MOT and service I tried Smart Care App.
I reviewed the recommended garage in my area and booked my vehicle in.
I was kept updated about the service and payment throughout, cannot fault them, excellent service.

Price was very competitive, work done on the drive, in around an hour, so no waiting for the garage to get on with it.
Mechanic an extremely helpful chap. What wasn't to like.

Do not use it they really are a bag of rubbish dont know when you're has been done payment is late coming out sending emails 2 weeks after you're car has already been done all round rubbish i will never use it again

No communication between the garage and smart caree, I had to call smart care to respond to the garage 5hours later, the job couldn't been done on time. Very poor customer service from the garage. I had to call multiple times for a pricing. Waste of time and money.

The mechanic was brilliant but the admin side of the process is not very good
It lacks clarity and the description of what is being done is all over the place also about 10 emails verifying the appointment etc is a bit much

No fault of AA specifically, the service was actually really well managed. However, there are difficulties in having a middle party as a I found out when my MOT failed and I had to go back and fourth in so many calls between the Garage and the AA to get repair works approved and get my car back on a timely basis!

Having had issues fixed on my car, pointed out to me by my mechanic, the car still failed the MOT.
I truly feel that this system is set up to ensure the AA get further income.
Apart from this, I found the garage and staff to be friendly, honest and professional

Having registered for an offer of half price MOT along with a full service for my camper van I was horrified to discover on the day the vehicle was due for these, I had evidently only chosen the service. When I clicked on for both, I didn't expect to have to click on the MOT again. I desperately needed the MOT, not necessarily the service which resulted in our holiday being scuppered. When I complained I was told I wasn't the first. If that's the case, the system is flawed. I have also been offered two options of late, neither of which are available to me. First was money off at certain petrol stations - it didn't work. Today I have been offered a free entry into a draw fro an Ultimate Race Day Experience - that says I'm not eligible. The AA is offering under false pretences. To say I'm disappointed in an organisation I have been a member for years is an understatement.

Easy to arrange and good professional service

It was so much easier having the service done at home. The patrol arrived on time and the mechanic very efficient and friendly. I have already recommended the service to colleagues.

It was very easy to book ans the service was excellent.

The biggest problem is not the mechanic or the service it's the prices on the AA App saying one thing and then getting charged a hugher amount.
When I rang to query the higher amount they said it was billed through Smart care working for the AA.
So in a nutshell a complete sham.

Then they answer this comment with a patronising hope you re OK...
