Adam the car starter…
Adam turned up to replace the battery after 1st rac man said needed new battery. Adam phoned to let me know when he was on his way. After replacing the battery( which is not as simple as they used to be) Adam checked that everything was ok. As he was doing paperwork in his van. Went to leave where i was and the car would not start and said that I had a steering wheel fault. Adam came back to sort the issue out and check that it was fixed and started. All sorted. Adam was very knowledgeable. Polite and helpful

Car Service available from your own home
Had not been aware that RAC do car services at home. Had a chap out from RAC on Wednesday who did a great job on our car! He recommended the service at home and I said absolutely Yes! The Service chap Ben who attended was super efficient. A really friendly professional guy. He was impressively thorough and I had complete confidence in him !

The RAC mechanic James serviced our car…
The RAC mechanic James serviced our car and explained an issue diagnosed when carrying out the service.He explained the issue and showed me the area in the engine and explained in detail the parts needed to rectify the problem.He found a further issue when fitting the replacement part and had to order a further part.He kept me informed during the whole process.He was was fastidious in his preparations and was careful not to allow any spillages or mess to soil our driveway.
I would recommend the RAC and commend James for his professionalism and expertise and would trust him to carry out any future service/repairs to my vehicle.

Excellent mechanics service
Isaak was the mechanic who repaired my car. He arrived at the allocated time and was efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. Isaak took the time to explain what he was doing and provided tips to help me going forward.
Imar was the call out mechanic and was also extremely pleasant. Both mechanics were very reassuring and engendered trust in the RAC breakdown service. Definitely worth paying for the platinum cover.

Poor experience!
Had my car serviced in early August (for £200+). I was aware that my rear windscreen wiper did not work, yet the technician marked it on the service report as working. This made me wonder if he'd completed (or missed) other things. I subsequently had my car checked over fully by Nissan who found two issues with my front struts/joints which the technician also missed. When I complained to the RAC, after 6 weeks they offered my 20% off my next service! They also said that the technicians don't look under cars as they are mobile and don't have access to a ramp! Why have these checks on their service if they can't look under a car? It also only took him about 40 minutes to do a full service, including an oil and filter change. I don't have confidence that the service was carried out correctly and certainly won't be taking them up on their poor offer. Think twice before booking them.
