I found the website easy to use.

Getting a quote and purchasing the insurance was easy. I can’t really rate the insurance as I have not had to make a claim.

If I could give the AA 0 stars I would. This morning Monday after a 20 minute wait I got an answer from a lady who needed extra information which I didn’t have to hand. She promised to call me back at 15.00. I got no call back. Nor did I receive a call back promised on Friday. I rang back at 16.00. I was answered promptly by ‘new business option’. Agent transferred me to another option. It is now 16.35 and no answer. The number offered in a reply to my original review is nonoperational.(03705332211)
I now have a motor I cannot drive unless I drive without insurance.
It cannot be possible that there is a worse call answering service than the AA. It is beyond dreadful. I am now going to see if I can find another broker.

All the boxes were tucked when I was choosing.

During the process of obtaining a quote there was a phone number to ring in case of any questions I wanted to ask. I was disappointed that nobody answered when I tried to ring.

Excellent help from the guy on the phone who checked a banking problem and got back to me when he said. AA app not good as there appears no way to add my policy as I have breakdown cover already and the two seem to clash

The agent explained that we could get the new car registration before it was registered. She rang back twice to get hold of the reg, while we were waiting to hear from the dealer. Quite a pleasant contrast from our previous insurer, who wouldn't do anything by phone and relied on their broken systems.

My quote from the AA came out on top using a comparison website and was £75 less than my renewal quote from my existing insurers and with a similar, if not better cover. I've previously had a car insurance policy with the AA and was pleased with the price paid too. I found it easy to proceed with purchasing the policy online and it was also easy to review the documents. I've never had to make a claim or speak to a customer service advisor so I cannot comment on what the customer service levels are.
