I needed to cancel
I needed to cancel my policy as am unable to ride a bike anymore for health reasons. I sent an email, as I hate holding on for customer service calls. They answered the next day and it was all sorted. Excellent and prompt service

Paid my premium
Paid my premium. Bike got nicked from my car. Apparently as I didn't use a tarpaulin to cover it claim invalid. Although my cat has tinted windows it was still on show. No wonder their premium is less than half of all other insurance deals. You get what you pay for!!! Avoid at all costs!! For me it was an 8k bike!!!

Hi Matthew. We are incredibly sorry to hear about the theft of your bike. Losing a bike is a massive frustrating setback, and we completely understand your anger and upset over the situation.
To keep our premiums affordable for everyone, our policies require standard security measures when high-value items are left in a vehicle overnight.
In assessing similar claims, consideration is typically given to whether the item was fully out of sight and appropriately secured within the vehicle. We also consider if there is any sign of visible forced entry to the vehicle in order to assess the claim.
Where an item remains visible from outside the vehicle, it may be considered exposed to opportunistic theft.
In such circumstances, best practice would ordinarily be to ensure valuables are either stored in a fully enclosed compartment or otherwise completely concealed from view.
Additional factors commonly taken into account include whether the item was secured within the vehicle and the overall accessibility of the vehicle at the time of the incident.
We appreciate this may not be the outcome anticipated, however, we aim to ensure all matters are reviewed consistently and fairly in line with policy terms. If further clarification is required, or you need to provide us with any additional relevant information to review, you can provide this to us for escalation and review by a senior assessor.
Bloody fantastic is all I can say
Bloody fantastic is all I can say. We recently had a break in and insurance is one of those things you are so happy about when you have it. My son's bike got stolen from our garage and after providing all the details we had a new bike delivered in just under 2 weeks. Laure was amazing, really genuine, recognised that it was quite a mentally stressful time having been broken in to when we were home and just got on with making it one less thing we had to worry about. Very thankful.

Lying and Gaslighting
Followed all locking guidance, bike was stolen regardless. Provided all evidence asked for during the claims process. Claim was ultimately denied as someone misread an email, then used that to accuse me of lying about how the bike was locked. When I pointed out they misread the email, they accepted it then denied my claim anyway without providing a valid reason.
EDIT: The response to my review doesn't even relate to my claim! If you ever needed more evidence of gaslighting here it is. Pathetic.

We understand that you are disappointed with the outcome of your claim.
To provide some context, our decision was based on the information available at the time of the claims assessment. The policy requires bicycles to be secured with an Approved Lock.
During the assessment, a receipt was initially provided for the lock used, which indicated a lock that does not appear to meet the policy’s Approved Lock requirements.
After the claim decision, you kindly provided additional photographs showing the lock fitted to your bicycle prior to the incident. These images were consistent with the lock shown on the receipt previously submitted and helped clarify the type of lock that was being used at the relevant time.
We do understand that this outcome may be disappointing. However, we are required to assess all claims in line with the policy terms and conditions to ensure they are handled fairly and consistently for all policyholders. If you wish to provide further information for us to consider, that could help us with introspect, please feel free to do so.
I’ve put off getting bike insurance for…
I’ve put off getting bike insurance for years. Having just purchased a bike today and speaking with the store they shared some horror stories which made me want to make sure my bikes and families bikes are protected. Sundays was easy to set up and a very good price, now I’m happy I have cover on my bikes.

Complete rubbish !!! Definitely not recommended ... not worth all the time & effort ... Initially they harass you with cold calling to sell the policy ... their incompetent staff are unable to access simple account information ... then when you finalise the policy extension , they do not even send the policy renewal causing the current policy to expire & leave me without insurance !!!

Fantastic customer service
Fab, responsive customer service which is incredibly rare these days. Confirmed a technical question about their cover with an underwriter in minutes. Savannah was especially helpful in helping me migrate from another provider with like for like cover at a similar cost.

Recently took out insurance with Sundays and had to submit a claim for a cracked carbon frame. The claim was dealt with very swiftly and money for the value of the bike minus excess in only a week with no quibble. Very impressed and have insured with them again, would most certainly recommend 👍

I got a free month's insurance with Sundays for my new ebike. After recent bike muggings in my area I decided to buy a year's insurance after this month. A very smooth process and the lady I dealt with was super friendly and helpful. There are quite a few rules which were explained so you do need to buy a gold standard lock on top of the insurance. All in all a good experience setting up the policy.

Great quick and efficient service over…
Great quick and efficient service over the phone to get our two new e-bikes insured.
Hopefully won’t find out how easy it is getting any claims out of them but suspect that with their service and professionalism, it should be a breeze, but as said, hopefully will never find out!
They came highly recommended to us by Balfe’s Bikes, and from the service I’ve received so far, a very good recommendation!

Gravel Bike write off
I recently had a BAD crash on my new Gravel bike. Significant damage to my beautiful bike and some superficial damage to my good self.
I took my bike into the shop I'd bought it from (Evan's cycles) and had them produce a Damage report for me.
To my surprise (or concussion) the bike was effectively a Write off. You name it, I dinged it.
There was damage to drivetrain components alongside a completely out of shape wheel, Damaged carbon fork and mashed levers.
Plus dings, scratches and dents all over.
(Me and the bike that is)
I communicated back to Sunday's and informed them of the catastrophe. The first thing that Sunday's asked was whether I was OK. That's when I knew I was in good hands.
My claims Handler Tristan Kumm guided me through the entire process easily. Informing me at every stage exactly what was required from me to help process my claim.
I genuinely didn't expect the claims process to be so straightforward. He asked me for key information about the bike which I had readily available then continued to communicate with Myself + The bike shop to gather the rest of the file.
Tristan really went above and beyond to assist me through my incident. When he communicated back to me that my claim had been processed and I need only pay my excess - I was emotional.
My bike is my primary form of transport.
My commuter, my full sender and my Sunday driver. And it was a wreck.
Knowing that I was getting a full replacement 1 for 1 was an incredible feeling. He even asked if I'd like to look at other frames and change the bike for a different one.
I've now chosen a more suited, more aggressive gravel bike to serve my needs.
I'll be picking it up from the store i'd bought the original in and renewing my insurance immediately.
Looking forward to knowing my safety net will catch me, any day of the week, but especially on Sundays.
