Lowest prices for Drops yarns ordering from Los Angeles

I order from USA because Rito offers the lowest prices for drops yarns, which is what I primarily purchase. Even with high tariff and shipping costs, it still costs less than any US/UK e-comm retailer. The only drawback is that shipping takes about 10 days; 4-5 days from the date they claim to ship and another 5 days to clear customs and local post office delivery into Los Angeles. I used to buy from Lindehobby, also based in Denmark, which somehow only takes 3-4 days total shipping. So it's a bit frustrating that shipping takes twice as long from Rito. Another frustration is they don't accept American Express, so I have to pay through paypal, which charges another fee on top of tariff and high shipping costs, which together end up adding about 25-30% to order totals.

Missing more than half my order

I understand that longer shipping times and customs delays are out of Rito’s control, and I was patient with that. What I’m really disappointed about is that after waiting weeks and being so excited to finally open my package and start the Cloud and Olga sweaters, I realized that more than half of my yarn was missing. I only received 15 out of the 34 skeins I ordered. I emailed about the missing items and still haven’t heard back. Overall, this has been really frustrating and disappointing :(

It is, of course, expected that as a customer you should always receive exactly the items and quantities you have ordered. For this reason, we take cases like this very seriously.

Stuck in customs

It was stated it would be a 4-6 business day delivery and it was shipped 12/11/2025. It has been stopped in customs with no delivery estimate since 12/16/2025.

A Christmas Birthday Present

I ordered yarn for my daughter for a birthday gift. Not the best time of year for a birthday present order from Europe to California but the package was delivered within 10 days. She was ecstatic 🤩
The yarn itself is beautiful. I told her that she could look anywhere in the world for yarn in the color she wanted and I would get it for her. She wanted a very dark green yarn to knit a sweater and she found it. Thank you so much for an excellent yarn and service.
