The response to my repair request was quick and efficient. The appointment made fitted well with my own availability.

Once I'd made Magna aware of the problem which was caused inadvertently by some of their employees working on one of their properties adjoining ours it was dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Imagine being in the middle of your shower when suddenly there is the acrid smell of electrical burning and smoke coming out of the Mira Advanced shower unit. Water, electricity, smoke, fire! A shocking experience!! I've never got out the shower so fast in all my days!
I reported the incident online and Kayleigh phoned a short time later to assure me an electrician would call within 24 hours. David and Oliver called round later the same day - within 12 hours, and replaced the Mira unit with no fuss, no mess and in a very professional manner. Thank you to one and all for your speedy repair. Much appreciated.

Once through to an advisor very polite and helpful

Waited 3 weeks for someone to come out as it was an electric issue I wasnt risking touching it myself, contacted magna on several occasions to get the job brought forward as I have 2 your children and a disabled husband so didn't want to go 3 weeks without a cooker... I still waited 3 weeks for the electrician to come and tell me it's the cooker itself that was the issue so a quick phone call to my insurance company and the issue was rectified the very next day.... The 3 week wait could have been avoided had they have sent someone sooner... I live in a block of flats and the Magna vans are always outside for some reason or other yet I had to wait 3 weeks for something that could have been rectified ALOT sooner

I can't remember the Op's first name, his last was Winn. He did a really good job, very pleasant and kept us informed while he was replacing the window winder. Very pleased with him.

Terrible housing association always constant mould problems in there property's! Was lied to by both the Lettings and housing officer for the property. Reassured works were completed when wasn't touched! I told the housing officer and the Lettings Officer works needed to be done prior to us moving in but they LIED. Lettings Officer didn't tell Me about the asbestos until after I signed the tenancy! My second time being with this housing association and what a sham they are they failed me before and they have done it to me again only this time I have a 14 month old! The letterbox was hanging on by celatape! The back door was pointless being there causing my son to catch a cough and exploit him to croup again! The mould we walked into and living in fear with asbestos! My flooring boards in my bedroom were worn and needed replacing! The property was not ready to let let alone to a venerable tenant!!! Never would I ever recommend magna or have anything positive to say absolute disgrace. AVOID!!

Such a brilliant experience for us all. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Little touches like colouring in for the children to do while they waited their turn to see Santa and the refreshments added to the experience. The elf coming to fetch our three year old began the real excitement and then Santa was absolutely amazing. Thank you everyone for making it all so special.

Absolutely lovely, warm and enjoyable! snacks hot drinks colouring whilst we waited to meet santa was my eldest first time she was a little shy but Absolutely loved the experience can't wait for next year!

This has to be the best Housing Association in the whole of England! I’ve had a few issues with repairs over the years, and Magna never ceases to amaze me. I lived in London for over thirty years and while my housing in London were equally superb, Magna understands the value and importance of their residents. My only digression is that they failed to provide a gardener to help me with the gardening. I am quite elderly and need quite a bit of help in managing my garden. But for other repairs they have come up tops. I had a mould issue which they fixed by reinforcing the walls and replastering, even fitting a new bathroom in the process. The ceiling had cracks caused by Magna’s constantly sending workmen to do surveys ie. Bat surveys and fitting alarms in every room in the house, which weakened the ceiling. I complained and they sent men to fix the cracks and fitted a curtain rail that kept causing the curtain to fall and the cement around to crumble. They sent 5 workers on 5 separate occasions until finally, Stephen did the unthinkable and fit a wooden plank to hold the rail. My outdoor flood lights needed fixing, Magna was again exemplary in their work and I had to write this review to give credit where it’s due. Thank you Magna for your support and superb service! I just wish there is more in the budget to continue their magnificent services. Thank you Lisa Holmes for your timely assistance and support!

Very efficient and always letting me know what's going on.

After requesting the job of a new gate after our last one was smashed in Hugh winds and a back gate that was Becoming dangerous to open, the gates were both replaced and look fabulous

2015: Made the mistake of allowing magna to fit a multi-fuel burner in place of open fire.
Water ingress down chimney written-off as 'damp fuel', despite syphoning litres of water from burner when not in use. Burner never drew correctly, distracted by fact of partner dying.
Would seem that Magna's sweep did not report water he encountered.
Burner removed 2020, whereupon one of the subcontractors mentioned a hole in roof allowing water in.
No kidding.
Now dependent on unaffordable electric heating, and mould an issue due to air no longer circulating via capped chimney.
Magna's main problem is that their older stock is now crumbling, and a lick of magnolia will not fix structural issues.
