I would not even give them a full star if possible. I bought a few items from then on different times. NONE of them were as described on the website. All were missing or broke. All items are suppose to be marked like new, used, missing parts, or broken. The items I bought I made sure said LIKE NEW and they were not!! Definitely stay away from this company as you will only waste your money. Also you can never get anyone to answer they phone number they have listed and if you email they will not respond either.

The robot vac is missing the dock/ability to Charge it. So basically I purchased a plastic brick. The lamp, not listed as damaged literally had frayed wires where a plug should be. I haven’t opened a desk and a shelving unit. Hoping they are not trash as well. The only win was a PLASTIC LITTER BOX! That will be my first and last visit to MAC bid.

If something bad happens in your life within three days, like you need a surgery, you are screwed. Not only do you lose your item and still have to pay for it, but you also have to pay a fee for not taking the junk!

Very disappointed anymore with items they seem to almost all be broken or missing parts and the insurance keeps going up I think they might be putting items back in auction if don’t buy insurance you lost out I bought 2 mechanic stools first one said like new all hardware was missing including wheels they did reimburse me 2nd one was so beat up damaged missing parts then you lose your insurance money and the time taking it back going to just buy new taking a break

No wonder I was the only one to bid on the Hamilton Beach toaster oven. I went ahead and did it realizing it could be the same issue I had before- I opened the box to a disgusting toatster that looked used for years.
The black and decker had bids, but not the Hamilton Beach product. Perhaps some know the system there. I wish I could post the disgusting picture of the inside.
Someone needs to start a claim of warranty of merchantibility against these scams. There is an implied ability to use in the law. You are not allowed to sell trash unless you advertise it as trash.

No they cannot open every box, but when they mistakenly sell trash, give the money back. Period.

I am extremely disappointed with the condition of the item I received. While I understand that the warehouse may not be able to inspect every item in detail, labeling a severely damaged and stained product as simply “open box” is both misleading and unethical. My situation didn’t allow for me to leave the house to inspect my item.

The umbrella we received is clearly not in reasonable condition. It is damaged, ripped, stained, and entirely unusable. Labeling items in this state as “open box” creates a false impression and takes advantage of customers who rely on accurate descriptions. I’ve purchased from other auction houses like Nellis that provide honest listings and allow returns on defective products—your approach stands in stark contrast. Shame on you!

Their bidding process is a scam. If they feel they can get more for an item, they will say you were out bid after you watch action until the end. After this experience, I read where this has happened to others. Beware, and do your research on this company, read all the horror stories of others

Okay, so MacBid needs to get their s___ together. stop selling crap that cannot be used. Seriously! I have purchased a few items that I had to take to the trash. totally unusable. How the hell does that even happen??? Step up your game and don't resell crap. how is this stuff even resold??? DISGRACEFUL!!!! I had nails sticking out of a shelf I purchased and got cut from it. You are a lawsuit waiting to h appen!!!!

I “won” 4 items and picked them up today. They were listed as open box but should have been listed as damaged and partial!!!! Vacuum cleaner was FILTHY and had no handle- can’t even turn it on. Coffeemaker has no reservoir!! Garbage can- broken so the lid won’t stay on . Lastly, window shade had no hardware. How are ALL of the items I purchased useless?!?? Why does Mac.bid not have a responsibility to at least describe the item correctly????. Buyers assurance is too expensive for each item. And if you live too far to inspect before bidding, expect to be SCREWED! Items being auctioned should be going in the garbage, not sold. Also can’t get through to customer service. Horrible experience. Shame on Mac.bid for treating people this way.

Out of the 5 items I won, only 1 was usable. All others were either badly used or missing parts. It appears if you can't take buyers insurance on an item, most likely it's in bad shape. I was allowed 1 courtesy return and when I returned the item and told them the issue, I was told the workers are new and that item should have been put on a pallet sale??? WTF

They definitely do fishy business. While there are some good deals to be had on this app, multiple times now I have bid on something or purchase something that was showing up as an item at my pick up location locations, But then when they populate on my purchased items list the next day, they show as needing to be picked up in a warehouse in a totally different state. Their customer service will never refund the items, Even if their system was glitching and showing an incorrect pick up location. This is dishonest and incredibly upsetting that it has happened more than once.

WOW! One and done. The local warehouse is only 15 minutes away, so I finally thought I would check it out. Registered and bid on a small (open box) table and won it for $3. With added fees, my total cost was $6.93. Expect the worst, because when I got home and opened the retaped box, there were literally 1/2 of the parts missing. Yes, you can inspect before purchasing, but I didn't want to make two trips for a $3 item. My bad. Pictures should show what is in the open box, not some stock photo. Very misleading. Pretty much zero customer support. Buyer beware. Yet, the place was PACKED! Go figure.

bid on a Greenworks 3000psi pressure washer the description just stated OPEN BOX lot #3213F, I bid $200 for it and won it. when I got it home there was no pressure wand, nozzles or hose and the unit was rusted and used.

Nearly all the stuff is either poorly designed products nobody wants and returns, or broken stuff people returns. I saw the prices and thought... "what could go wrong" Well, all went wrong.

You want to return something? Good luck! You have to pay extra for the right to return. They give you very little time, they have inconvenient hours, and customer service is nonexistent.

Do yourself a favor: Go to ebay. You end up paying same or less, and you get better coverage in case things break.

You can't trust anything to be as described at Mac.bid. Not even the lots of shipping boxes. I won a lot of what was supposed to be 10x8x8 shipping boxes (which it did look like in the actual photo). However, I knew right when I picked them up something with the weight wasn't right. When I got home I found they were actually 100 12x12 cardboard squares which are almost worthless to me. And for $13.35 at that. I've seen other box lots that I can tell from the pics. are not as described. In addition that was all I had to pick up so it was a waste of time as well. Good luck.

Great. But ppl stop jacking the price up when there 2 and 3 or even more days left to bid. Paying a lot more then what you should plus you more then likely will get outbid towards last 2 mins left to bid

DO NOT BID ON OPEN BOX ITEMS. they use this title so they can sell the insurance for it. I made the mistake of trusting"OPEN BOX" meant that it was purchased, the customer didn't like it, it was returned. The ROOMBA that I bought was heavily used and thrown in a box with pieces of it everywhere. Looked like it was used for years and someone tried to fix it at home and destroyed it. It CLEARLY should've been labeled as DAMAGED as i could tell the second I opened the box. VERY DECEIVING practices in my opinion. They also add "FEES" to your total. If not marked NEW is most likely broken junk.

I’ve been treated like garbage. 45% of the stuff you buy is broken. The lady that work the checkout counter at the Pittsburgh mills location is utterly horrifically pompous and acts as if you are mentally handicapped and if you try to not deal with her by going to a different person she will put herself into your business anyways just to start shit. And they don’t answer the phone for customer service so forget ever getting a refund. They literally start shit, throw you out, and then they mark your stuff as picked up so you can’t get a refund cause they say you picked the stuff up. THIEVES!?!?!?!?!?! Go there if you want. Maybe you’ll get something that works and treated better but I doubt it.

Scam this company resells used horrible items most of the items you buy will be garbage even if it says LIKE NEW you’ll get it and notice it doesn’t work or even how gross it is and they knowingly sell this stuff with a false sense of security thinking you’re buying quality items

I feel what everyone else feels but when a company tries to improve their service I'll let them know.

I thought I saw a class action suit out there, PLEASE add my name or who do I contact to submit a complaint. Mac Bid company is a scam. You can't get any answers on the phone and if you leave a message they do not return your calls.
Now they are not letting me pick up merchandise I paid for because I refused to pay them a threat payment. I was late paying and have NO PROBLEM PAYING A LATE FEE but your not going to threaten me to pay $25.00 to stay on the system and the capability to bid. NOW THEY ARE NOT LETTING ME PICK UP MY ITEMS I'VE ALREADY PAID FOR! This has to be totally illegal! How can a company refuse to let you pick up merchandise you've already paid for? PLEASE WHO EVER HAS SUBMITTED THIS LAW SUITCASE CONTACT ME!
I would love to get this going before this building collapses and they wont be around to have a lawsuit against! The building at PGH MALL SHOULD BE CONDEMNED! Material falling down from the ceiling and all the buckets around to catch the water. They don't care enough about their customers to help fix some of the pot holes. I understand that's not their responsibility but the other stores are trying to help their customers and their vehicles! I'm done!
I gave credit when credit was due but when not I'm honest, SOMETHING MAC BID ISN'T. THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN. I PLAN ON CONTACTING EVERY POLITICIAN I CAN! EXSPECIAL THE GOVERNOR. IF SOMETHING DOESN'T GET DONE BECAUSE EVERYTHING THEY DO IS ILLEGAL! THEN SOMEONE HAS THEIR HANDS IN IT AND I AM DETERMINED TO FIND OUT!
