I have been shopping Nellis Auction for…

I have been shopping Nellis Auction for almost 2 years. But in the last 6-7 Months they have really gone down hill. Averaging a couple returns each weekend when I pick up because items are broken or the wrong item brought out of the warehouse. And I learned to return right there if possible by carefully inspecting each item before driving off. Open every box if taped shut. Sometimes it is something you did not win or is broken. Like t shirts instead of a stereo. I even had won and paid for online 22 items I won , paid over $300 dollars and went to pick up and they could not find any of all those items. All 22 were missing. Then you have to wait over a week to get a refund. Support is via email. And if you get a response , and I mean if, it can be days. In the 2 years been shopping with them spent thousands of dollars, but now when you go there it is hit or miss the items are what you paid for or they can find your items even though they were suppose to be in one large bundle for pick up. Sad, before was a nice place to get bargains.

I purchased 13 items two weeks ago and…

I purchased 13 items two weeks ago and had to return 7 items. At the return location I asked two employees for a return receipt. Both denied and I never received my refund. So now I have neither the item nor the funds. What business does that? Only one, Nellis. This auction is nasty. Buyers beware. Nasty business practices. You’re gonna get scr_____d!

My account was hacked! I spent hours texting them. You cannot speak to anyone. Only promises to follow up, but there was no follow up because their hourly people and management are inexperience and frankly do not care. Then there was an unusual charge on my credit card from Nellis. Again, no response.

Auction descriptions are grossly…

The auction descriptions are grossly inaccurate. Items described as new are clearly used, and items described as functional do not work. You can get some great deals here, but be prepared to make an extra trip to return most of your wins when they turn out to be junk. This is especially true of any electronic kitchen or personal care items.

I use to love this place when it first…

I use to love this place when it first started. Now Its really hard to want to buy anything with the high fees that keep getting hire and the shity pictures. you can hardly ever see what your getting . when you do get broken, wrong item or no item at all now we are being at fault and find. can we get credits every time they mess up or sell us TRASH!!!!!???? I would tell you you're better off buying it new off amazon.

Be very careful buying from Nellis

This place has turned into complete hot garbage. The responses that I’ve gotten from senior management in regards to their complete and utter breakdown in their processes has been truly comical and I’m glad that they are all documented. I truly believe Nellis Auction is designed to create the idea that they have a simple and easy return policy yet holding large sums of people’s money for extended periods of time has to be a huge earner for this company. They refuse to take accountability from bottom to the top. Their staff is overworked and are completely unable to manage the load that they are dealt every day in a massive amount of items. Yes I have gotten some incredible items for a low cost but the amount of time money and effort that I’ve wasted here is not able to be recovered. If you complain they will eventually cancel your account. Even if you’ve been trying to end the relationship yet you are held hostage by their return returns that are never done the way request requested and always take more than the time their policy states. Additionally they will jam that policy down your throat yet never actually honor it themselves. I never want to see a business fail but the way this corporate team operates they deserve to have their doors shut down. Additionally they have ran campaigns to pay people store credit for their reviews which is the only way that they have any score close to presentable on any of the review forms.

Don’t change your pickup time!!

OMG, to change your pickup time first you have to cancel the one you have. Then half my order disappears and then they want me to pay for everything again. Don’t even think about calling to straighten things out. They now have a bot that you want to reach through the phone and strangle while screaming obscenities. If he had a heart I hope it explodes!

Not always what you paid for

Before you drive away, open the box and make absolutely sure you have what you paid for especially for items that require assembly if you do not plan to assemble them ASAP → After 7 days you cannot bring it back. We paid for a murphy bed and were dumb enough to trust them. When we opened the box, it was a cheap dresser.

Don’t buy anything except factory sealed

Don’t buy anything unless it’s factory sealed
70 to 80% of the time that they advertise no it’s been used sent back and missing parts
The people that inspect the product do not look at anything all they do is put tape on it, put it back in the box and put it up for sale
It’s very frustrating and Nellis does nothing about it
Every time I return something, I tell them what they did wrong and still over and over and over same product same way
Don’t buy anything unless it’s stacked resealed

This happens all the time 70 to 80% of the time very disappointing. I’ve talked to some of the employees that have to take the returns back out in the parking lot and they know what’s going on. They say yes it’s frustrating to them too. The employees on the inside of the plant are the ones that do not inspect and write good descriptions of the product and I believe management just doesn’t care.

Helpful tips

Generally, you can find some petty amazing items but there will be the off chance your item goes missing before pickup or the item isn’t what was shown online. It pays to check all photos and read any description prior to bidding to avoid fees for unwanted items. Luckily they do have a 7 day return policy for a full refund to either original payment or store credit for future use. Just be careful about letting items expire in your cart or missing scheduled appointment. Doing so will result in you being charged relisting/restocking fees which can add up and inevitably get you banned from bidding all together. All in all I do love the site and have purchased some pretty awesome things.

Rude ski mask kid in the parking lot

The most unorganized parking lot I have ever been through from an auction site. Usually it’s smooth in and out. There was a young man in a ski mask that was playing around in the parking lot on his phone just completely unaware of the surroundings. It was at the certain point where he almost backed a car into me and acts like it’s my fault when I’m parked sitting still. The attitude and loud mouth were unwarranted. I come to Nellis auction quite frequently and with the way it was unorganized and the way the kid acted in the parking lot I will not be back which I know probably doesn’t matter to you.

Don’t trust the 5 star listing

Ticket "resolution": too bad, your fault you trusted our scam 5 star rating on the item and should have checked the sealed box as we're busy rushing you out. Have to drive back out to return if you want a refund on the unusable junk we tricked you into buying. Ticket sent: My first won items. Listed as 5 star: no damage, no assembly, no missing parts. Drove all the way out there 30 minutes each way and the lamps are not assembled and are missing parts - critically, the lampshades. Horrible. Now I have to drive all the way there and back again to return. Will not use Nellis auction again. What a scam.
