Just had my bathroom completely refurbished by James, the whole team are amazing and friendly and trustworthy in your homes. Tidied up everything each day after finishing. Now love the safety feature on the taps so my little toddler can’t get at hot water. You all do a great job thanks so much absolutely love my new bathroom looks so lovely :)

Efficient turned up on time polite good standard off work.

Excellent work from the kitchen team, they done an amazing job and I'm truly in love with my new kitchen.

Customer support officer was very helpful and polite, she fast tracked a electrical repair (exposed wires) and forwarded a request to the tech guys to reset passwords on the website. This was all completed within hours of my initial request. Very pleased with the service l received today.

I had a bathroom refurbishment done by Shaun he done the job in a week, stripped out and everything made as good as possible on his own. Shout out to Shaun who done excellent, a professional job 100%, fantastic job. Shaun was absolutely fantistic. polite and friendly he explained everything he was going to do each day. The job he done. A thank you to the electrician and he's apprentice for the work they done. A biiiiig thank you Shaun for the work on my bathroom.

David Wood did my 5 yearly property safety and quality inspection yesterday and I couldnt rate his visit highly enough. As well as being incredibly efficient at checking all safety aspects of my home, he helped me to decide which aspects of my home would need reporting for minor repairs and would assist in future overhauls of parts of my home, ie, kitchen and bathroom. He also then went on to help me with setting up some local volunteer suppport for the local community near his office where I volunteer. His mannor was friendly, respectful and helpful and im really pleased it happened to be him who visited my home, as I feel, on this occasion, this staff member was by far the most in sync with my personal ethos regards wildlife and conservation wellbeing and was beyond helpful with other aspects of support offered by Livewest that some other residents may not be aware of.

5 star rating for Luis hollister who fitted my kitchen last week and the sparky Ben Lawrence who were absolutely amazing. They were both so kind, polite, and brilliantly efficient. They both did such a wonderful job. The level of professionalism is top tier. I really could not have asked for anyone better. I am so happy with the end result too.

For the best in Bathrooms INSIST on 'Professionals'! Ask for: Carl & Owen, Livewest Tradesmen they are good lads, your job provide the Tea (Cornish Smugggler) and music you WILL get a Proper Job. My Bathroom looks like a Top 4* Hotel, if I could provide Photo's I would show you.

We just had our bathroom renovated. Our trades man was amazing! He was courteous, hard working and went above and beyond giving recommendations and ensuring that everything was just how we wanted it.

Well organised from start to finish kept updated thru out the build up and job. The e gender Darren lyons was kind well mannered and worked very cleanly. He we t out if his way to help me due to my limited movement. This man is a credit yo your co.pany .

Just had a new bathroom fitted. Had excellent service from the 2 guys who came with samples and measured up. Also an amazing job done by the bathroom fitter who completed the whole job himself he was very polite and professional a big shout out to him. Then the manager who came back out to inspect the work that had been completed he was a lovely guy and very helpful and answered all my questions about the lifespan of the flooring and when asking about the second downstairs toilet and when that would be done he called the office while still with me and told them it also needs replacing

Our new kitchen now affords room that enables both of us to work in, with precious, additional, storage space. The installers were personable, skilled, & hard working, with minimal disruption. It is not only functional it is a delight to the eye. A short video of our new kitchen, shared with friends & relatives, generated comments of rampant envy. Thank you LiveWest.

Bathroom Replacement
I had my bathroom replaced by a young man called Andy. He was polite and helpful, always let me know what time he would be arriving each day. He did a fantastic job. I couldn't fault it in any way and I am absolutely delighted with with the end result.

An update to my earlier review - the service provided by Livewest continues to be beyond appalling, with an ever-changing array of staff members telling you they understand, when they clearly have no humanity in their approach to customer service or care. To arrive at my parents home (in their 70s) and see them huddled round a poxy electric heater, because Livewest have refused to complete repairs for the last FOUR MONTHS is truly heartbreaking. Now they are living in a cold, damp home. I am astounded, and the distress caused is unbelievable at a time of their lives when they deserve to relax in a warm home that they love and care for. Absolutely diabolical.

Horrific place to work.
Don’t be fooled by what’s advertised - the job at LiveWest is nothing like it sounds. You’ll spend nearly your entire week doing repetitive admin work, glued to a screen, with zero real impact on the young people’s lives.

If you’re offered a pre-interview visit, know that management will only show you what looks good. The reality is constant pressure, impossible targets, and burnout as the norm. You will spend on average 35 hours a week, glued to a screen typing just to meet targets.

The culture is toxic, driven by a management team (mostly female) with clear control issues and no interest in listening to staff ideas. Morale is low, stress is sky-high, and any sense of purpose or community they promise is just for show. Believe it or not- I’ve experienced it first hand.

If you’re fresh out of uni and happy being micromanaged while ticking boxes all day, maybe it’s fine. But if you have some real life experience and actually want to make a difference in the life’s of you he people and be respected, look elsewhere - LiveWest is a revolving door for a reason for the young people which is heartbreaking.

There is nothing further that you or anyone else at LiveWest can say that would change my perspective. This feedback is based entirely on my own experience over four years as an employee, not on a single event or misunderstanding that could be resolved privately.

During that time, it was my perception that the organisation’s stated aim of enhancing and developing young people’s lives was often overshadowed by a strong focus on targets and performance metrics. In my experience, when outcomes are driven primarily by numbers rather than relationships, the deeper issues affecting young people are not fully resolved.

The management approach I encountered did not align with my values or expectations of best practice. I am not naming individuals, and I am not making allegations ,I am simply sharing how the culture felt from my position within the organisation.

This review is written in good faith by a former employee who joined LiveWest with genuine intentions of wanting to make a positive difference in young people’s lives. Unfortunately, it became clear that my approach and priorities were not the right fit for the organisation.

This feedback reflects my honest experience and opinion, and I am comfortable with it being shared publicly in this form.
