Live West are using their leasehold scheme as a cash cow. We live in a house and Live West have had to repair a communal gate (one that we have no access too).

I know housing is in short supply but I would still encourage you to not become a leaseholder. The cost of living is going up and up. Live West are acting in the role of Richard (I changed his first name because the site would not accept his real name) Turpin. Leasehold bill, also known as corporate theft.

It's a shame you have to give 1 star. I have lived here 3 years an awful housing assosiation. Where to start... I live in a veterans block in Bristol There are 2 veterans blocks here top and bottom although 1 of the the blocks (bottom block) has anti social people in it who either haven't served but are entitled because their partner was in the Army (which I disagree with) or people who served about 29 days!. There is also a supported living block here in the middle of the 2 blocks. Certain individuals from the supported living block constantly throw paint and rubbish and cigarette butt's out towards our car park and where the cars are parked - these issues have been raised and a camera facing the middle block here in question has been mentioned previously but this is something livewest will not agree to, also parcels and mail occasionally goes missing if left by a courier in our block or another-ill say no more on that as I can't prove it!

Livewest do not care if you've served in Afghanistan and have PTSD seeing your friends die either at war or by suicide Post service - all they care about is the rent and service charge being paid, regardless of continued stress at times from anti social people either throwing stuff on the pavements where our cars are parked and ultimately areas we have to drive over... or people physically and mentally attacking other members of their blocks here.

The service charge is again going up in 2026 the garden and in particular weeding here is never done, the cleaning which is once a month alot of the times in our block (which is already kept clean) is a shambles. The windows are washed about once every 3 months also! People constantly park their cars here and head into the pub a few doors down; Regardless of whether there are no parking Signs here. Again livewest do not get involved as long as you are paying your rent.

Late last year in 2025 an individual from livewest (Employee) opened my flat door whilst I was at work and entered my home without any permission, if it had not been for my doorbell camera Livewest would have gotten away with this... uterrly atrocious.

On top of everything else I found my elderly neighbour Dead in his flat another veteran last year (2025) livewests response was utterly appalling, they were more concerned that the windows in his flat were closed for security, not the fact he'd been dead about 2 weeks. Duty of care very poor.

If I had somewhere else to go I would go. I've enquired about swapping properties and moving to the Frome /Somerset area but your choices are limited to non existent as I have been told you can only swap with another veteran so the chances of that decrease massively, you should be able to swap with anyone in a housing assosiation property, this is very unfair!.

A stressful place to live.

had my kitchen completely redone, I am so happy with their work, the kitchen looks fantastic and all the workmen where lovely, funny and kind, they where a pleasure to have in my house for the week. manager came and done his inspection, he way lovely aswell, a good experience over all

What an absolute pleasure LiveWest have been to deal with. They really have gone above and beyond to keep us informed every step of the way and we cannot wait to move into our new home. To call on New Years Eve with the news that our application was successful? Incredible and I really want to thank Donna Sharp for her call and in all honesty? Just being lovely... thank you Donna!

Sean McDonald was the most pleasant, respectful,and professional at all times during the fitting of our beautiful new bathroom. He was such a nice person and we could tell he really cared about doing a great job and asking our input when necessary. The electricians involved were also caring about doing a great job.

Requested a few repairs to be done at my home. All were completed within two weeks. The process from start to finish was painless and every point of contact was faultless. Can’t fault any staff for their professionalism throughout

Live West, the only housing association that has an absolute headfit if you dare challenge them on their response to antisocial behaviour despite it being in their tenancy agreements how they dont allow it and how you can report it. Yet they let families get away with their kids running with county lines, damaging people's property, and being about as antisocial as you can get yet when you have an old ironing board in the drive way waiting to be collected they write a snotty letter to you. They are an absolute joke of a housing association. If you are ever in a position where you need to report antisocial behaviour dont bother, despite having read recipient's on they deny ever getting evidence. They even push back against the local MP who has been contacted by numerous residents in the area about the issue, yet still nothing gets done.

Had my bathroom completely refitted and upgraded with the work done by James Tallemach. Total professional, friendly and communicative throughout. I can't rate him highly enough

Adrian was brilliant kept me informed of the work being carried out, was very polite and professional, and asked me to check everything before signing that the work was complete, couldn't fault anything.

The gentleman who came to check the state of equipment and possible mold was an absolutely lovely bloke. Kind and sociable, and the dog love his scratches. 10/10

We recently had a kitchen renovation done by a member of the Livewest team and the entire process has been nothing short of excellent. From choosing the colours of the cupboards, the worktops and the flooring, to the fitting of the kitchen itself. It’s been great.
Andy, who fitted the kitchen was amazing. He was respectful, informative and completed everything within a 4/5 day period, working completely solo, apart from when the Electrician and Plumber came (who were also fab). We felt completely at ease allowing Andy to stay and work in our home whilst we weren’t here and when we were here, he respected space.
Livewest have been my landlords now for over 6/7 years and in that time I can say they have been on point with any issues I have raised.

Just had kitchen refit. Extremely pleased with the outcome! Beautiful kitchen and flooring . The fitter colin bishop is multi skilled and very good at his job. Andy Smith the electrician was also very good and both very nice men to be around. Professional, kind and skilled. Thank you to all the team for your kindness and understanding of my disabilities. Work area was also kept clean and tidy while they worked and left in a clean condition for immediate use.

So far this has been a straightforward and easy process.

I recently had my bathroom refurbished. I am delighted with the results. LiveWest teams used good quality materials and the workmanship was excellent.

New bathroom fitted! Im very fussy about my home but Carl smashed it at every turn and I couldnt be more impressed with the outcome. 5 stars isnt even enough for the work he did.

Ashley Grist and his team did a wonderful job of my Bathroom. Got the job done in good time and everyone was polite and respectful. I felt safe with them in my home as a mum of two and one being a newborn baby.
