Bought kenco rich for years but the new one is awful im now changing brands as you have destroyed this at home and work we use around 5 200g jars a week not anymore

What have they done to their 'rich' instant coffee (blue top)? The new formulation is just horrible. It doesn't dissolve properly and is very bitter. Kenco, it wasn't broke and didn't need fixing but now it is undrinkable. Please go back to the old recipe!

I'm very disappointed in it and I don't like the taste of it anymore I will be changing brands if it doesn't change back.

Mum has been drinking Kenco Smooth for years and now I’ve been buying it for her for past few years. Recently I couldn’t easily find it because the labelling had changed while the price had gone up. Got home and compared it to older jar we still had and noted that the new jar was smaller in size. Today, after a few days of drinking the new lot of Kenco Smooth coffee, she told me to take a look at the sludge at the bottom of her cup! She is disappointed at the change and shocked at the cheek of Kenco to have tried to trick us with poor quality coffee. Problem is I bought two jars so might bring back to store or send back to Kenco…

Long term user of the Kenco Rich instant coffee, but since the recent brand refresh, I will no longer be purchasing this product. The taste is awful, unwanted leftover sediment, and shrinkflation! Such a shame, will need to purchase as many 'old' jars I can find before changing brand supplier. Update: managed to source 8 large jars of the original recipe, so I have some time to source a new brand. Wake up Kenco, and smell the coffee!!!

Ruined the coffee. Doesn’t dissolve properly anymore. Goodbye Kenco.

The new recipe in kenco smooth is awful, I won't be buying it anymore,why fix it if it isn't broke?

They have changed the recipe it now leaves a bitter burnt aftertaste… time to change to another brand

Oh my, what a massive let down! What have you done with this new Rich flavour? It is AWFUL! We have been drinking Kenco Rich for years on end! Could never find anything that tasted better than that one, and this new watery, dusty, full of sediment recipe is simply DISGUSTING! Does not even have a taste! Seems like coffee broth! You've lost us as your customers. Never again! Bad on you!

I have used Kenko decaffeinated coffee for some years, they have now produced it in a smaller jar with a different colour Top so we pay more-I accept that-but the taste is now most unpleasant and I can no longer drink it so will no longer but it- I hope someone can suggest an alternative

I have been buying kenco smoothies for years and loving the taste , but now they have changed the brand and it is bitter and leave nasty brown dregs in the I will be looking for another brand , I thing Ken go should rethink what they have done and go back to the way they used to have it as I think they will be losing a lot of customers

My husband and I have been buying and drinking kenco smooth for 20 years! The new 'improved' one is absolutely awful. It leaves an awful taste and feeling in your mouth and a residue at the bottom of your cup (which you can also see while drinking it!) Not to mention the smaller jar sizes and extortionate prices! We will be looking at moving onto a different brand now

We have been Kenco Smooth drinkers, for probably 20 years. I recently called to complain about the sludge and bitter taste towards the end of the cup.
The indifferent "boy" who was on customer service was completely unhelpful and told me there was nothing wrong with the coffee, I later find that there has been a formulation change. CUSTOMER LOST

The coffee now is tasteless and leaves a powder residue at the bottom of the cup, awful coffee

Never thought id be on Trustpilot complaining about coffee but the new recipe Kenco Blue lid is just dire.
I always swore by Kenco Blue lid but from the floating bits at the start to the brown grit when you finish this new stuff is shocking.
How on earth did this stuff get through Kenco QC?
Will they ever change the recipe back….i’ll never know cos I won’t be buying it again.

The new Kenco rich is completely undrinkable. Awful taste and leaves black sludge at the bottom of the cup. I tried to complete their complaint form but it just kept saying invalid form. I really feel that people who have bought this product in good faith should receive a refund.

The new jars look unique and interesting but the coffee tastes like a cheaper version of the Kencō I'm used to. Also, we're now getting 10% less coffee for the same price and this new blend leaves a dark brown residue (like soot) and does NOT mix well with milk at all. I'm disappointed

What have you done to Kenco Smooth?? This has been my coffee of choice for years. Now it tastes weak and bitter and wth is that black slurry at the bottom of my cup? I did try to leave a complaint on your website but it refuses to send due to Captcha errors so i emailed your contact address and the email was bounced back!

I have purchased &enjoyed Kenco Rich for as long as I can remember, now in my late 70's I will be changing brands. Whatever you have done to the blend has ruined the product, it is a bad move. Goodbye Kenco

Please change back to the old recipe with no ground coffee - most people don't like the bitterness and grit left in the cup
