Kenco Omdömen 

My wife and I here in Ireland have been drinking Kenco really rich for a long time. It was always our favourite coffee. Sadly I went shopping today and had to buy another brand of coffee not Kenco. We both do not like this new blend of Kenco really rich with a strength of 9. It tastes terrible and leaves a residue in the bottom of the cup. I do not know who approved this change in the management team but they will find that sales of this popular brand of coffee will drop in the weeks and months ahead if no action is taken. After adding a little milk to our cup of coffee, it still looks very dark and one could be mistaken that they forgot to add some milk.

Never had any other coffee other than Kenko Rich, but since the re brand, it is horrible, it leaves a bitter taste & the cup staining in unbelievable, time to change brands I think

Kenco what have you done to my go too coffee Rich It now tastes like mud. Leaves a ring around the top of the mug and a sludge in the bottom. I have 4 bags which if I could would go back to the retailer, it may end up in the bin. shame you have to get one star.

I'm reviewing from a business point of view. As a business we bulk buy our favourite coffee which is Kenco Rich, been buying it for years as it's always been a lovely coffee to drink, just the right balance, smooth and rich in taste with no horrible aftertaste or gitty nonense.

Well upon our recent bulk buy purchase all of that drink it are absoloutely disgusted at what you have done to it, you've turned an absolutely gorgeous smooth lovely coffee into a bitter gritty sludgey mess, residue now floats on the top, it leaves a ring of sludge around the cup as you drink and the final nail is the disgusting end where you find the gritty bitter nasty residue.

Kenco, times are hard for people,yhis coffee for some is considered a luxury, you have reduced the size and messed with the recipe but don't charge any less for the disprivilage and judging by all of these negative reviews, it seems you will loose a lot of sales over this including ours as we refuse to drink this anymore and will be looking to return some for a refund.

Kenco new coffee recipe is such a poor reflection on the old is beggars belief that that thought this was a good idea! Smaller jars and much worse coffee. The new blend does not dissolve properly, doesn’t taste right, what was a smooth taste is now bitter and gritty. I will never buy kenco coffee again. Another customer lost, I hope Kenco are pleased with what they have achieved.

The new ingredients have ruined it for me

I’ve been buying Kenko for some time and was genuinely happy with it, but the recent change to the ingredients has completely changed my opinion. The new formulation just doesn’t taste the same, and I really dislike it.

What makes it even more frustrating is that I originally stopped drinking Nescafé a few years ago for exactly the same reason, I wanted a proper freeze-dried coffee rather than the new type of formulation.

I’m now switching to Douwe Egberts, as they still make a proper freeze-dried coffee that I actually enjoy.

I understand that companies change recipes, but when customers have chosen a product specifically because of its taste and quality, changing the formulation risks losing them. In my case, that’s exactly what has happened.

1 star — please bring back the original Kenko recipe.

What have you done to my favourite coffee, I feel you have added something to the original blend this blend which leaves scum rings around cup and gravel at the bottom of cup and less coffee in jar,having to buy another brand of coffee disappointed 😞

Why try to fix something that isn't broken. It tastes bitter and has a heavy colour in the bottom that reminds me of tea leaves in the bottom of the cup.

Used to love Kenco smooth but won't be buying again it looks muddy tastes vile and leaves stain on cup. If I could give 0 stars I would as binned it after one cup and it is not cheap. Very disappointed and marketing it as the same when it clearly is not

Doesn't deserve any star👎Opened my new jar,wondering why the lid was red and not usual green!Didn't know they had changed the recipe till I looked it up.Why did I look it up? because it tasted awful😒.Made another one later,and just couldn't drink it,it's just vile.I have drank the decaf for years because I love it,but this jar and new recipe is just horrible☹️.Most people stick to their favourite coffee,so when it suddenly changes,without showing New Recipe on the jar,I've ended up wasting my money!Before I could start my day with my usual lovely coffee...now I don't even have that!To anyone reading this who works for the company,PLEEEEEEASE get them to change it back!!

New formula is not good, if it's not broken,why fix it.

This used to be my favourite coffee but not anymore beside the fact I'm paying more for less coffee the taste has changed and my cups are stained with the residue of the sludge they now put in to bolster up the coffee content. This company are having a laugh if they think I for one will be buying their coffee in the future.

Gone from being a decent coffee to a bland and bitter drink, with a terrible after taste. There is always a residue in the bottom of the cup and it’s virtually undrinkable. So Kenco now charge more for a smaller jar and are quite clearly using inferior beans. We won’t be purchasing any Kenco products in future.

Really don't like the changes they've made to their recipe. Their coffee is more powdery, and it's not as nice

Have been buying Kenco rich for years, but so disappointed with the new branded one.
Tastes like it has been left stewed in the cup, an awful liquorice after taste.
The colour and smell are not the same either. Does not even taste like coffee.
Awful. Kenco fan no longer.

I rang kenco to ask if there had been a recall as the coffee tasted so bad along with the sludge left at the bottom, to be told the recipe changed. I used to buy this in bulk as we drank so much, no more, its totally undrinkable, I'm gutted and now looking for a new brand.

I have the blue label kenco and the new shape jar is absolutely horrid and leaves a terrible residue that I have never experienced before as I normally drink the hole cup dry not any more😡😡😡

Always bought kenco coffee but the new stuff is terrible bitter foul tasting rubbish another customer you have lost

Used to drink this coffee as it was quite a nice taste but since the change its disgusting. Tastes bitter, leaves residue at bottom. Never had this issue with this coffee before.
Plus making jars 190g now. Well I will not be buying it anymore. From regular customer to no customer .

We have drunk Kenko blue label rich coffee for 15-20 years, really disappointed that along with new jars came a new blend. I can only describe it as vile, bitter throughout and black at the bottom of the cup we shall not be purchasing any more after wasting £8 on a jar we had to throw away as found it undrinkable. Wish I could give it no stars!
