La Caletas Village Costa Teguise Lanzarote

We stayed in a 4 bed villa just outside Costa Teguise in La Caletas Village and the package included flights and car hire x 2 from the airport for 1 week.
When we got to Avis there was only 1 car booked in my partners name even tho i had filled out forms for 2. This took over an hour to resolve and ended up costing us an extra 175 euros for a 7 seater as they didn't have 2 cars available. The drive from the airport was only 10 mins and we could park outside the villa. Please note tho in Lanzarote you have to park with the car facing in the same direction as the traffic! We were not aware and received a fine. Apart from this driving around the island is easy and well signposted.
When we arrived at the villa it looked amazing. The company had left a small welcome of a bottle of white wine, some milk in the fridge, some apples and some cakes. There was some tea, coffee and other cooking condiments and a basic selection of kitchen equipment to cater for 8 people. Dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and other cleaning products & materials were left for us to use, toilet rolls and toiletries.
The size and location of the villa was perfect for our family of 6. (Grandma, Mum, Step-dad and 3 teens 16-19). Spar and Lidl 4 mins walk. The air conditioning in 2 of the bedrooms and the lounge worked well to keep the main part of the villa cool. The swimming pool was a lovely luxury to have for our personal use.
However, there were some issues with the cleanliness. I had to re-wash all the towels supplied as they had a smell of damp from being stored wet and not dried properly. Luckily there was washing powder and softener supplied.
The floors although looked clean had not been mopped and when i wiped them the cloth was black.
The kettle leaked water from the base.
The whirlpool bath in the master bedroom leaked from under the bath when in use all over the bathroom floor which we assume is due to leaky jets.
The basement where my son slept was not clean, it felt unused. He had bugs in his bed and crawling around his room and in his clothes that had been kept in the drawers. So we moved his mattress to the lounge so he could sleep.
The sofa in the basement was heavily stained as material is fabric.
The leather sofa in the lounge is very uncomfortable but it was great to have a TV we could use to escape the heat.
The swimming pool walls needed to be cleaned as very dirty and possibly from years of sun cream.
The umbrella shade was difficult to open as not fixed correctly - looked previously broken.
Having had these faults/minor issues, we still managed to have a lovely holiday and enjoyed having our own space to relax in.

Vasilissa Villa , Argaka , Polis , Cyprus

We have had a fabulous two weeks , six adults staying in this villa. Two minor problems at the beginning were promptly fixed by the owner Andreas , a very nice guy easily approachable . The villa was in immaculate condition clean and tidy. All towels pool and bathroom were changed three times during our stay. The villa was complimented by an infinity pool with a depth of 1.4 metres all over. Easy access to the pool with wide steps in one corner with handrail down the centre of them. Large outdoor kitchen and BBQ area .
Easy vehicle access with plenty of parking area , would highly recommend and would definitely go back again.

Villas Norcas Grande for 10 sixty/seventy somethings!

Booked for a group of 10 "older" couples - as we have done in previous years.
Previously I had booked villa, flights and car hire separately - but if one changed it caused a lot of "fuss"
This time decided to try Jet2Villas - and was very impressed by the service from start to finish.
Booking was easy - the company they had selected for car hire did not cover the 3 drivers age [70 years] but a pop up menu with other providers came up and I was able to book hire cars easily.
We paid up over a few moths and all was well - if there was a problem [eg 1 of our group could not fly out but would fly back] When I contacted Jet2 it was not a problem - all was sorted.
Good luggage amount and excellent legroom on flight
On arrival at Faro, car hire was straightforward. We had taken out Excess cover [CDW was included] and we were not pushed to take company [Budget] own brand.
Offered an upgrade to car - but was not pushed. Very friendly service.
Arrived at Villa [Norcas Grande] early [1300 when check in was 1600]. Not a problem. Cleaning staff suggested we park our cars [underground parking] and go to local bar and come back about 2/30/3.00ish
Very nice bar. When we returned we sat by pool until cleaning finished. perfect.
The villa [actually 2 identical villas] were fien - with AC in all rooms. Starting to show some signs of wear and tear [eg not a lot of wine glasses, mixed crockery and little plastic drinkware for beside pool] However perfectly fine and comfortable.
Outside space was amazing pool and paddle pool, BBQ, plenty sun loungers and space so folk could sit in sun or shade.
Plenty outside eating space.
It was next to a main road which was not bad apart from idiot on motorbike a few times a day - but that is outwith Jet2 control.
There was a problem with alarm which said "low battery" and it took a few WhatsApps and calls to get someone out - but we were told it was ok and alarm would not go off [but it took a few days for this to filter to us]
Very convenient for bars, Aldi etc - only a few meters away.
Beaches walkable and very clean and not busy.
Beach restaurants superb!
Lots of places to visit in near vicinity.
Overall a great holiday - and booking everything in "a oner" was icing on the cake.

Already looking to book the group on another Jet2Villas holiday next year.

VILLA JIMENA COSTA BRAVA…

We stayed in villa jimena in costa brava on the 12th of june for a week. This was booked through jet 2. It was a large villa 4 beds there was 3 adults and a 15month old baby. We didn't release this villa had no air con so it was extremely hot at night, we couldn't leave the doors open due to being bitten alive by mosquitos,fly screens would of been ideal. We just assumed that all villas had air con they were charging enough for the holiday. Trying to keep a baby cool at night with just 2 fans to cool the whole villa was a joke. Just wish we had checked before we booked. Also the villa wasn't particularly clean the floor was dirty and the stairs this wasn't ideal for a baby to crawl around, I dont think this villa was child friendly there were a lot of sharp edges, the large coffee table was particularly bad my grandson caught his head a couple of times on it. There were a lot of gadgets on the side for little ones to get hold of so we spent most of the time moving things. This villa is more for adults not younge children.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with this airline. I felt that I was treated differently because of my nationality or race, and the overall customer service was poor. The staff were unhelpful, and I left feeling disrespected.

Villa Santa Maria Albufeira

Villa Santa Maria Albufeira.

Villa location & keycode given by Jet2 didn’t match to the Villa management company information but after a phone call was resolved before arrival. Villa location was in a residential area not far from the Albufeira old town. Arrived late evening & appreciate this was self catering but a welcome pack of maybe a bottle of water, milk & few tea/coffee sachets would have been nice. Luckily the driver of the taxi transfer had time to take us to Aldi before his next job so we could get some basics to cover us until morning but with only 15 mins to spare before they closed. The pros was the villa was lovely & clean & very spacious. The cons were there was no instructions within the villa for use of air conditioning, WiFi code, appliances etc, mismatch of kitchen utensils/mugs/glasses, coffee cups with cracks & only wine glasses/pint mugs. Also didn’t realise we had a cleaning service until cleaners came. We arrived on Friday evening & they came Monday/Friday’s to make beds & provide clean hand/bath towels, with pool man also coming once a week. Would have been good to have been told an inventory of expected visits. Despite negatives we enjoyed our 2 week stay but probably won’t return as resident across road had 2 dogs with one constantly barking morning/night. We did communicate this annoyance diplomatically to her but it made no difference.

No air-conditioning during a heatwave

I spent the last week staying in Solmar Villa Bellavista Mar, in Arenal d'en Castell, Menorca. The amount of issues that were apparent on arrival was unacceptable.

1. No hand towels available throughout the property.
2. No hand soap, shower gel, bin bags/liners, washing machine powder/tablets, dishwasher liquid/salt.
3. The air conditioning wasn't working in one of the bedrooms and nobody fixed it for 5 days, leading to no sleep. This was during a 32°c heatwave.
4. The WiFi didn't reach the bedrooms downstairs, meaning we had to spend £20 on extra mobile data.
5. Not many utensils available for the barbecue
6. The downstairs toilet was continuously dripping throughout our stay.
7. When arriving, the fridge wasn't cold at all, of which we had to fix ourselves.
8. Mould in the downstairs bathroom.

There should we some sort of compensation for the lack of air conditioning and WiFi, and my dad will be making a formal complaint.

Neither Solmar or Jet2 reacted swiftly to fix any of these issues. We made both companies aware of these issues by Sunday 21st June at the latest, yet received no help.

A massive disappointment—terrible access, awful odours, and poor management.

We booked Villa Marilen Petit through Jet2 Villas after a fantastic experience with them two years ago. The photos and description made this look like a major upgrade. Sadly, it was anything but.
The trip started well. Our travel from the UK was seamless, and Raoul at the Hertz counter at Palma airport was incredibly accommodating, upgrading us to a Ford Kuga. However, the drive to the villa at 0100 hours turned into a nightmare. The lane leading to the property has two extremely tight bends. The description of a "tight bend" is a massive understatement—our car sustained damage trying to negotiate them. A Ford Kuga is the absolute maximum size you could get down there; a van or airport drop-off minibus would find it impossible.
While the villa offers privacy, it is severely let down by neglect and poor maintenance:
The Odor: There was a horrendous, unacceptable sewage stench seeping from the shower cubicles in both internal bathrooms. We had to buy four bottles of disinfectant just to mask the smell during our 7-night stay.

Poor Sleep: The beds are incredibly cheap and uncomfortable—not built for a good night's sleep. Laying awake inhaling sewage is incredibly upsetting.

Maintenance: Several internal and external lightbulbs were blown, making the place look uncared for. The WiFi was broken upon arrival (though thankfully fixed by an engineer the next day).

The Pool: It was full of bugs and leaves with weak to no filtration. When we complained, we were told to "use the net," completely missing the point. No actual pool maintenance or cleaning crew ever showed up during our stay.

Two years ago at a nearby Jet2 villa, the pool guy visited 4–5 times and the cleaning crew came thrice. Do not expect that level of service here.
When we contacted Jessica at Somar Villas, her quick responses felt like a condescending "politician's answer." We felt brushed off as just standard tourists who should just put up and shut up.

Jet2 needs to inspect their properties more thoroughly and be transparent with customers. We have been loyal Jet2 customers for years, but this was by far our worst experience to date. We would not stay here again, nor would we recommend it to anyone. And to Jessica at Somar Villas—you really need to refocus on actual customer satisfaction rather than just fast deflection.

Absolutely appalling experience with no compassion

Absolutely appalling experience with Jet2.com.
Despite informing them that I had been diagnosed with cancer and was facing an extremely difficult and distressing situation, there was zero compassion, understanding, or willingness to help. It was painfully clear that their priority was not customer care, but simply keeping my money.

I repeatedly asked to speak to someone who could make a decision or show even a basic level of empathy. Instead, I was shut down and told to “email in” — an utterly unacceptable response when dealing with something this serious. There was no ownership, no attempt to support, and no humanity in how this was handled.

As a result of their refusal to act reasonably or show any discretion, I am now being forced to pursue a Financial Ombudsman claim — time and energy that should be spent with my family during what is an incredibly important and difficult period in my life. That alone says everything about how this company treats its customers.

This is, without question, one of the most cold, inflexible, and disheartening customer service experiences I have ever encountered. When it truly mattered, Jet2.com failed completely.

PLEASE do not book with them. If something goes wrong, do not expect compassion, support, or fairness — only resistance and indifference.

Villa Paradiso Ena, Agia Pelagia, Crete

We chose the Villa Paradiso Ena, Agia Pelagia, Crete, Greece through Jet2Villas. The villa was exceptional for the price, very modern, very clean with spacious sun terrace and private pool with sunbeds. It is very well equipped with aircon, microwave, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, bbq, toaster, hairdryer, iron and anything you may need for a home from home holiday. We chose this villa due to it being close to amenities, supermarkets, beach, restaurants & bars and its close proximity to the airport as we did not want to use a car. On arrival at the villa there was water and fruit juice in the fridge, fresh fruit, tea and coffee, packs of nuts, and a bottle of raki which we thought was a nice touch. We found the beds very comfortable with top quality mattresses. Ample storage throughout and insect screens on all external doors and windows. Shower/hand gel and shampoo and plenty of toilet rolls were provided. The lady staff members Lena and Demetria looked after us so well, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them they truly made our holiday special. One minor drawback for us was that the pool was one depth ie no shallow end and it was a little too deep as we are not very tall people, my wife who is very petite could not stand on the bottom comfortably, at 1.4m deep it would not be suitable for small children. Suggest an underwater platform at one end maybe? Overall we would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a nice quiet, relaxing break in the sun.

booked with jet2 villas in Portugal, which was great value for the money, flights, villa and car rental.

as we arrived at the airport i was told that there was no car hire for us, stressed as just wanted to get to the villa, so just got an uber.

apparently when i called up i was told i had clicked on no transfers which i didn't realize that meant no car hire required i had already added the main driver above in. (having always had package holidays, transfers to me is bus or taxi?)

VERY MISLEADING! needs to be re worded.
so ended up then wasting money on taxis and hiring my own car, back to the airport.
can highly recommend Record go car hire.

villa itself was ok,

The mattresses need replacing or add toppers, rock hard and pillows were lumpy.
toaster didn't work and cooker was ancient, had to youtube.
outdoor and location was great.

would of been nice to have water, coffee, tea and milk for the first night.

Jet2Villas - Sinjura, Gozo

The villa itself was excellent - five stars if considered in isolation - but there were issues with the location and the whole Jet2Villas experience.

Starting with the latter, the concept of getting flights, accommodation and car hire from a single source is appealing but the reality was different. Accommodation and car hire are outsourced to third parties with their own terms and conditions that are not presented at the time of booking. There seemed to be a dis-join between Jet2 and its suppliers.

Shortly after booking, we were notified by Jet2 that, in addition to the ferry fare that we were aware of, an additional charge may be payable to take the car to our accommodation on Gozo. It could not explain this nor state precisely what the charge would be. After a long debate about consumer rights and transparent pricing, it was agreed that there would be no charge provided we used the Gozo Channel Ferry. As there is no other way of taking a car to Gozo, it became clear that Jet2 was unfamiliar with the holiday it had sold.

On a separate issue concerning a mis-match between Jet2's website and the car hire voucher, we were directed to ring the car hire provider in Malta and sort it out ourselves, despite our contract being with Jet2, whose terms and conditions we had accepted and relied on. In total, we spend around 90 minutes over several phone calls to Jet2 resolving various ambiguities and inconsistencies.

We were not provided with contact details for the villa provider, Fanal Holiday Homes. Jet2 expects its clients to raise all issues via its UK call centre. It was fortunate that we found a contact number in the villa as, several days into the holiday, we experienced a serious and urgent problem that required local knowledge to understand and we could not wait whilst Jet2's interpretation of the problem was passed to the villa provider. We did subsequently notify Jet2 of the problem, actions taken and latest position; and updated it later in the week.

At this point, it is necessary to describe the location. The villa is remote, at the end of a narrow, long, rough and unlit track, which itself is accessed from a minor road that is a little wider but otherwise no better. The villa cannot be seen from the latter, there is no signage at the junction and the directions provided do not mention the need to turn onto the track. The promised 'off-road parking' is on an adjacent plot of land. There is no other satisfactory parking option within a reasonable walking distance, even without heavy luggage. It is also necessary to use this plot of land to turn the car around when the adjacent villa's parking space is occupied (as was almost always the case) or otherwise undertake a long and very difficult reversing manoeuvre.

It transpired that the plot of land is owned by a third party, with whom Fanal has no agreement. The landowner attempted to evict us but we were already blocked-in by vehicles from a film company that was using the adjacent villa as a film prop. Fanal responded in person and resolved the immediate problem but we had to dismantle an improvised barricade to remove our car the following morning.

The barricade was back in place when we returned later in the day and remained in place for the remainder of our holiday. The problem was compounded by the film company's vehicles blocking us in. Once again, Fanal responded quickly but, on this occasion, failed to achieve a satisfactory resolution and distanced itself from any promised parking arrangements.

It was left to us to negotiate with the film company to park in front of its villa. This proved problematic because scheduled external filming restricted our ability to come and go as we wished (there were times when the car could not be there - some very early in the morning - and times when we could only move it by prior arrangement). Whilst neither Jet2 or Fanal had any control over these alternative arrangements, the need to use them was a direct consequence of their collective misrepresentation in the villa listing. As an aside, Fanal had advance notice of the planned filming and potential disruption but failed to communicate it.

We effectively lost two days of a ten day holiday, playing musical chairs with our car, negotiating with various parties and abandoning our planned itinerary for both days. Three further days were spoiled by on-going stress and anxiety. We will be seeking compensation for loss of enjoyment due to Jet2's failure to deliver what it promised - a villa with off-road parking. We would not have booked this holiday had there been any uncertainty about parking arrangements (it was a material factor in our choice of holiday).

By way of a closing thought, we wonder whether the landowner was the same individual that woke us with shotgun fire at 5.30 every morning?

Exceeded our expectations

We had an incredible holiday with Jet2 Villa Holidays in Sept 25, staying at Villa Angelina in Puerto Del Carmen, and honestly, I couldn’t recommend it more.

There were 8 of us in total, and from start to finish everything was absolutely seamless. The flight was on time, luggage arrived without any issues, and the whole experience felt really well organised and stress-free.

It was our first time in Lanzarote, and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better introduction.

The villa itself completely exceeded expectations — the photos simply didn’t do it justice. It was even more spacious, well-kept, and beautiful in person, with plenty of room for all of us to relax and enjoy.

I almost feel like I shouldn’t say how amazing it was… because the more people that find out, the harder (and more expensive!) it might be for us to book again - and we did book again - heading out next week. Because credit where it’s due — it really was that good.

Everything came together perfectly: great flight, fantastic villa, brilliant company, and amazing weather. It was one of those holidays where everything just works.
And as I said, we enjoyed it so much… we booked again.

Would 1000% recommend Jet2 Villa Holidays based on our experience.

Needs a little improvement

The villa is in the very remote location of Pomos - You definitely require a car, and unless you have been before, you will also need to have excellent SatNav to locate the property.
Very good villa for two people.
This is why I have only given the property 3 stars:-

1) The bed is adequate but the pillows and linen are of very poor quality. This requires a major upgrade.
2) The towels are also very basic - Massive upgrade required.
3) I had no hot water for the first day, as there were no instructions whatsoever to operate the boiler system. The owners were fantastic and showed me how to operate the next day, and provided a complimentary bottle of red wine (thanks).

On a positive note, the owners spoil their guests with virtually everything you could need for the first night and beyond (until you can get to a shop). Fantastic customer service from the owners.

Villa Elena Coral Bay - ⭐ 1 star – Distressing, unsafe, and still being sold as a 4* Villa

We booked Villa Elena, Coral Bay via Jet2 Villas, expecting a relaxing family holiday. What we ended up with was one of the worst holiday experiences we’ve ever had in 20+ years.

The villa was filthy, unsafe, and nothing like the listing photos. Outside was covered in dirt, cobwebs, broken and mouldy sunbeds, rotting decking patched up with cement, overgrown weeds, fly-tipping nearby, and a pool with a bubbled, peeling liner. Inside was no better, grimy, limescale-covered bathrooms, missing lightbulbs, wardrobe doors falling off, and loose door hinges (one ripped my clothing). There were missing or broken smoke alarms, and the staircase felt dangerous, with mesh literally held together by cable ties.

To make matters worse, there was an ant infestation in two bedrooms, including inside drawers and bedding. When we reported it, we were simply handed a tub of powder 30hours later and left to deal with it ourselves. We also arrived with no basic essentials at all, not even toilet paper or soap, am emergency dash to shop after travelling for 12 hours was not what I wanted.

We raised these issues immediately. Solmar Villa Maintenance turned up two days later, laughed, and told us they are “We are every week” and the owner “won’t do anything”. Jet2 said the villa would be cleaned again and despite chasing for 2 days, no one ever came.

We were forced to call around and move villas to a firm we have used previously and pay €700 for alternative accommodation just to have a clean and safe place to stay for the children.

What makes this even worse is Jet2’s handling of the complaint. It has taken nine weeks to receive a response when it should be 4 weeks according to Abta policies and they have offered £300 compensation, which doesn’t even come close to covering our costs. Despite everything raised and the photographic evidence provided, Jet2 is still actively selling this villa for 2026, which is deeply concerning for other visitors.

This was our sixth villa holiday, and both of our bad experiences have been with Solmar Villa property rented by Jet2. Jet2 should not be marketing a property in this condition, and families deserve far better.

We will very carefully and with due diligence check villas before booking with Jet2 in future. This review is a 1 star because it didn't allow any stars.

If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars I would. Booked for a villa hol in September of this year, 3K holiday for week, pictures in brochure looked amazing. However what we got was a filthy villa, murky pool, smelly drains and unusable shower due to the stench. Damp wardrobes that couldn’t be used. Jet2 did not care, refused to move us, refused to help us, and refused to listen. Appalling. DO NOT USE
They are happy to take your money, but not happy to help.

Used Jet2 villas in September 2025

Used Jet2 villas in September 2025. The villa was filthy and dangerous with sewage gas entering the property, sewage was leaking into the pool. Jet2 couldn’t care less and refused to move us. We had to leave the island after a few days as we were worried for our health. Shame on you Jet2. Avoid Jet2 Villas, customer service zero.

Jet2 lie about included car hire

Arrived in lanzarote with a villa and car package and got taken from the airport to a car hire company called Record Go who had none of out details. After 30 minutes of giving them our information they tried to hit us with a €1200 deposit which we were not prepared to do.
We paid for extra insurance though jet2villas so we would not have to worry about the car. We will never use jet2 again

Perfect place, location. 1000% best holiday we’ve been on yet.
Last week of October and was still 24-28degrees.
Couldn’t be happier.
Everything went smoothly 😁😍

Villa Evanthia, Latchi, Cyprus

An appalling experience at the Evanthia in Latchi, Cyprus via Jet2 Villas. Began with car hire station being 5km from the Paphos air terminal. No facilities for disabled passengers travelling on the transit bus, requiring my friend to be manhandled on and off the vehicle. Incorrect GPS coordinates given, so got totally lost on the journey to the villa, resulting in arrival at our destination after midnight. The condition of the villa was extremely substandard and in dire need of a full refurbishment. Paint peeling off the walls, dated and uncomfortable furniture for starters. Upon a fuller inspection the next day, we discovered so many issues. The poolside parasol was broken, and dumped at the side of the pool. The pool itself was dirty. The access ladder into the pool was rusted and broken. The curtains in the living rooms were stained and filthy. We had just 2 (mismatched) wine glasses. This in a 3 bedroom property. The cutlery was ancient and tarnished. The plates were from the ark. On day 2, the kitchen lights failed and we were forced to cook in the evening using bedroom table lamps until this was finally rectified a couple of days later. A baby’s cot and playpen had been left in the lounge and despite asking for it to be taken away, it remained in the property. Externally, rendering was peeling off the walls. Some scaffolding staging had been left in the garden. The meter cupboard had no door. On dropping the hire car off, we again had the same issue regarding no proper disabled access on to the transfer bus. When challenged, the driver became extremely angry and abusive. Not the sort of customer service one would expect. Overall, the whole experience was extremely disappointing given what we paid. Upon return to the UK, the response from Jet2 has been truly appalling and disappointing. 6 weeks chasing answers and still nothing.
