Great customer service very helpful very reactive

Latest update has been a disaster for us. We don't appreciate being the beta testers for such a buggy software release. We've got a business to run. All other software we use only release updates when it's tested and ready, not something that has caused so many new problems - and changed our sales data. Hike pos sent inaccurate data to our accounting software, screwing up our books with wrong sales figures and wrong dates. Hike pos was actually changing the dates on customer payments we had already received last financial year and has changed the dates to this financial year! Whenever we opened an existing invoice, it would change the date on all previous payments to the current date. Now we have to go over every transaction on every invoice we've opened for the past 10 days. We've had to resort to using pen and paper to keep accurate sales records while we wait for things to be fixed. Now into our second week with several issues not fixed. Its just created a whole lot of headache and unnecessary work for us. Templates we'd setup and used for 5 years, gone. The changes made to the software have been of no benefit whatsoever. The update was released upon us unannounced and the subsequent lack of communication is poor. These sudden 5 star reviews appearing on here must be fake.

As a longterm customer of almost a decade, Hike has played a key role in our business growth. The customer service is proactive and working with our Account Manager, Rudra, has been seamless. His efficient handling of our requests saves us time and we definitely will keep Hike as our POS service provider.

Mr. Rahul was very helpful in understanding the issues and were very prompt abd accurate in getting solutions to resolve issues. Also great in co-ordinating with different departments and resolving issues right away

I had an issue with my Shopify inventory not syncing with Hike POS, and Rahul and Rudra were fantastic. They went out of their way to help me troubleshoot the problem and stayed with it until everything was working correctly.

I really appreciated their patience, professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile. It’s great to know that when you have an issue, there are people who genuinely care about getting it resolved.

I have Hike and it doesn't do what it should, as an older business owner, I need to speak to someone and that is an enormous task in itself. Problems quite often can't be fixed and so you just have to live with a less than adequate situation. Consequently, we are unable to use the purchase and inventory system successfully because even though it is supposed be great for cafes it is actually prohibitive and only good for point of sale. Be very careful before you enter into this program and when speaking to 'sales' ask them to confidently demonstrate all that you need the program to do. The sale is very different to the practical.
Been trying to get through to the AI bot for the last 25 mins and limited response.

We took over an existing Hike program when we brought our business in Feb 2026 . we set it all up to our Xero program and Hike has not synced correctly to our xero program since day one. we raised a ticket on the 27/04/2026 # 106687 and this issue has still not resolved . this is impacting all of our business with a huge financial impact . its like no one in the Hike team are smart enough or qualified enough to figure out their own systems . We have had enough and are going to take this to the ombudsman . We cant even talk to someone from hike its all chat . were are the humans ?

Rahul from Hike POS has provided some of the best customer support I have ever experienced. During the rollout of our new HikePay card machine, we ran into an issue with the initial setup. As soon as I contacted Rahul, he responded quickly, guided me through every step with incredible patience and expertise, and had the machine fully up and running within minutes.

What really stands out is Rahul’s professionalism, knowledge, and genuine commitment to helping customers succeed. While occasional technical issues can happen with any system, having someone like Rahul there to resolve them so efficiently makes all the difference. We implemented this POS as part of a business-first digitisation and POS-rollout. The POS is user-friendly, integrates with our accounting software, and we're excited about exploring its other features and integrations over time (it looks like it will scale with many of our business plans). It has been a good fit for our business. The support team have been very good to work with and we're hopeful there will be ongoing improvement in the product offering. It's great to be enabling our business by working with another Aussie business!!

I had a small glitch in HIKE to sort out, and l was very impressed with the speedy response from HIKE and especially Rahul. Rahul phoned straight away and was able to talk me through a solution straight away.

Good luck getting anything done when the system acts up. They are based in Australia. If you are in the United States don't waste your money with system. Everything has to be elevated to a higher level to fix which takes 24 to 48 hours. With ne regulatory rules for banking it will also delay your payments to keep your system active causing even more interruptions in your day to day operations. System says payment types taken are AMEX, Visa, MC and Discover when you try to update it but after finally getting support to look into the problem with paying for the service they tell me they only take Visa and MC. It is just one issue after another with this system. Do not purchase this unless you are in the same time zone as they are and actually in Australia.
