As always, Fishpond delivers with everything received in 100% perfect order. The ordering process is easy and they had g good stocks. The book arrived in very good time.

The DVD arrived on time , and securely packed.Happy with my purchase.

The book prices can be very competitive here and I don’t usually have any delivery delays, but my last 2 experiences with Fishpond have been less than satisfactory.

I ordered on 11 April and was initially given an estimated arrival time (4wks) for my 2 books, which I was just OK with because they were niche.

However, that deadline has well and truly passed. In-fact, by 22 May it had been 6 weeks even though they were being sourced from an Australian supplier! I was also told that they cannot estimate a delivery time???

I had to cancel my previous order because it also took an eternity! (Although the process to cancel is pretty straight forward.)

So if you need a book promptly, maybe write it yourself or go and see your local bookshop. If they don’t have it, maybe they can source it more quickly.

***UPDATE 29 May, 7 weeks and counting***
Just got an email saying the sender (Fishpond) has allocated a tracking number…not sent or dispatched yet, just had a number allocated, woohoo!🫤
I could’ve sailed (using actual wind) to Australia, had a 3 week holiday, purchased the 2 books and then sailed home in the time it’s taken for Fishpond to send me my 2 books😑 Hyep…I should’ve cancelled at the 4 week mark and purchased locally😞

DON’T BOTHER TO BUY FROM FISHPOND UNLESS YOU DON’T MIND WAITING AN EXCRUCIATINGLY LONG TIME!

Unfortunately the last 3 items I've ordered never arrived; they were refunded but I won't be ordering from Fishpond again. It's a shame because I have received orders from them in the past and at good prices.

Book Never arrived!
My wife is in chronic pain and we were recomended a book which we ordered. There have been various delays and at one stage they warned it may be cancelled, but then their tracking said that the book was on its way. Hurrah! we thought. Today after 2 months of waiting they said they were cancellingthe order. This is not for some delicate, complicated made to order piece of engineering, just a book. They have failed miserably, will never use again.

I was really eager to start reading a particular book. I ordered it from Fishpond because it showed that it would be shipped locally from within NZ. In the end, it took 4 weeks to arrive from the UK.

I've ordered several books over the past few months that showed as being in stock. After waiting for over a month, I'm told that the books are out of stock.
In most places its illegal to sell stock when you know there's no stock.
Refunds are fairly quick, but the books still show as being available online AFTER getting a refund.

Great service and if the book is unable to be sourced you are informed. I would like to see a faster turn around in return of funds if a text cannot be sourced.
