The engineers who came to service our system were excellent. They explained what they'd done and why and listened when I told them I'd had a small issue with my system and how they'd fixed it. I'd give them 5 stars.
However, booking the service was an absolute chore with the booking agent being particularly unhelpful - it almost felt as if he was deliberately being difficult.

OMG, total incompetence in the office
OMG! The day this company does what it says itâs going to do. Sends out email confirmations for a visit, we arrange our diary around that visit then the day before we receive another confirmation changing the time from the afternoon to the morning so we rearrange everything. The guy turns up at 4.30! The team on the road are great. The total incompetents in the office are shocking and have been so for many years. Have tried Lucie Banham but she couldnât care less. Wouldnât recommend ever to anyone

Poor/no service from Banham.
I have a Banham alarm and service contract.
The system has developed a fault and I contacted Banham 4 times by phone to arrange an engineer. On each occasion the phone to the service department just rings.
Yesterday I waited 18 minutes and today ten minutes with no reply.
I spoke to the receptionist yesterday and asked service department to call me back. Over 24 hours and no reply.
Today I asked reception who I could complain to. I was told there was no-one in the company available.
Please can someone call me on 07445 602154 to arrange a service visit.

So glad to have keyholder responseâŠ
So glad to have keyholder response service with Banham. Our alarm activated at night when away recently, we missed calls as phones on silent, keyholder arrived to check out the property, identified the trigger (heated clothes rail dryer under motion sensor), reset alarm, and emailed us the report. Excellent response. Peace of mind.

Difficulty getting a service appointment
Having paid the annual fee in January 26, in March I had to ring up to get a maintenance visit appointment. Offered one in May, but when I said this wasnât satisfactory was offered 1st April. Not impressed, having paid promptly, expected a service visit soon afterwards as in previous years.
Actual visit was fine, two polite engineers carried out checks, arriving on time and completed quickly.
