The engineer was excellent. Low star rating because you are very expensive as the engineer is only with us about 15 minutes. How can you justify the price.

Disappointing service and workmanship
I used Banham for a lock installation on our communal Victorian front door (circa 1870). The lock itself appears to be good quality. However, the overall service, workmanship, and communication were very disappointing.
The quotation was issued under the wrong name and never properly corrected, despite me being the paying customer. My neighbour continued to receive all correspondence.
After installation, the door no longer closed properly and now sits slightly ajar when locked. This creates a noticeable draught. This issue did not exist before the work was carried out.
There were also problems with the intercom system, which did not work after the initial installation and required a second visit. I was initially told the issue was likely electrical and that an electrician may be needed. It was later resolved and found to be a fault with the lock.
There was also damage to the door during the works, including damage to the woodwork that was not properly restored. Entry into my property was also made without prior permission.
During the scheduling process, I experienced unprofessional conduct on site. A phone call was taken on loudspeaker in my presence, during which I was referred to in a dismissive manner. I raised this with Banham afterwards. I was informed the matter had been addressed with the relevant individuals, but this was only confirmed after I requested a response. I found the incident very concerning.
A senior carpenter was later sent to address the damage, but the repair was only partially completed. I ultimately finished the repair myself.
While individual staff members were polite and helpful, the overall standard of workmanship, care, and coordination did not meet the expectations I had for a company of Banhamâs reputation.

Avoid This Company!
We have been with Banham for over 20 years; however, in recent years their service has been appalling.
Our most recent struggle is simply trying to purchase an additional key fob for our alarm.
Two phone calls with the incorrect information
sent to their website which is not working
Called just now and the customer services rep was useless, so asked to speak to a manager and was sent back to the beginning; 'we are experiencing a high call volume......'.
So we have now had enough and we will be leaving.

Appalling customer service
I have been with Banham for over 10 years now but considering switching to a different company which actually treats its customers with courtesy and some respect.
I called in March to book my appointment for 15th April. Then a week before my appointment I get an email from Banham maintenance saying that they are moving my apportionment to 1st May. It was done without my consent.
I emailed them informing that I canât do that date and provided with 8 alternative dates in May. Customer service administrator came back saying that none of the days work. Only after my phone call to customer service, I was then offered a morning slot at the end of May.
I am incredibly frustrated and the level of customer service.
