Dont normally leave a review but cant believe some of the negative reviews, I have ordered for the past couple of years ( plugs and plants ) and always arrive in tip top condition. One of my earlier orders this year one of the plugs were unavailable due to poor germination, plant replaced with similar chilli ( aswell as normal freebie ) and full refund before the plants arrived. With regards to delivery, it clearly states on website plants are posted on Mondays only, so no chance of being stuck in sorting office over weekend.

Found the website when I was looking for some new chillis to grow.
Found the website to be fine and ordered straight away.
The plants came in a reasonable time and also came with really good paper work to help with growing them on.

The only reason I've only given 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of communication.
I had no idea if the plants had been dispatched and we're coming when they did.
It would be really useful if I had some form of notification about delivery.

Will probably pre order plants next year.

Decided to leave a positive review as a first time buyer from this company. Order arrived yesterday, a day or two later than expected but well packaged and with the added extra of a free chilli plant - nice touch! I agree communication is poor/non existent, but they did fulfill my order with good quality plants.

They are terrible. Ordered chilli seeds and plug plants. Seeds arrived but still waiting for my plants. E-mailed to find out what’s happening but no response. Will not be using them again

Ordered plants - emailed to ask when they would arrive - no response they arrived with 3 dead 2 with disease emailed no response the rest were dying and did die within a couple of days despite my best efforts so just like throwing away £23.00
World of chillis need to spend less on there add on's like books and trendy websites etc and have a valid contact number to listen and respond to the issues from the customers real shame I will report back on this site if they do contact me all I want is what I ordered in good shape is that too much to ask

Do not buy! Plugs were very poor quality, all died soon after and no one responds to your emails or Facebook messages for assistance. A very poor company indeed!!!! Stay clear

I wished that I had looked on Trust Pilot before buying from World of Chillies.
I ordered the El Ranchero kit 4 weeks in advance of a December birthday (2020) and it arrived 5 days late, despite me having requested a specified delivery date. No communication received about despatch or delivery.
The chilli plug plants were meant to be delivered in early spring and again no communication so I emailed Sarah - the owner (as she describes herself on her comprehensive website). No reply. 2 further emails - no response.
There is no contact number to ring.
I will end up buying plants from another source.

I read the reviews on here after I’d ordered and if I’d read before I would have been out off. Plants and plugs arrived within days of ordering and they were well packaged and look great. Already placed another order. Really lovely looking plants and some great info included.

got 7 plugs (read detailed instructions) now all are healthy lapping up sun in 50:50 coir:compost mix / everything seems good (its up to me (+ the Sun) how many chillies I finally get it would seem)...would strongly recommend !

Update on the below - plants have just been delivered and are apparently in good condition and dad very happy. Still no contact from company and a waste of my time but at least they have arrived.

Sadly I too have been defrauded by World of Chillies. I ordered a birthday present for my 82 year old father on 6th April and nothing has been delivered. The phone number on the website is a fake and they have not responded to either of my emails.
Sad state of affairs when you cant even buy some chilli plants without being ripped off.

Placed order back in March 2021 for chilli plugs, never received. Contacted via their contact form and email address with no responses. Have had my money refunded after raising a dispute with my bank. Avoid at all costs.

Received 9 plants 7 dead on arrival, no facility to communicate with company, phone lines and email don’t work, messages via social media and still no response, really disappointed and £40 out of pocket.

Not impressed with their email response time. I ordered some plants a couple of weeks ago and asked at the time when I might expect delivery. No reply. No telephone number. No nothing...

Ordered 6 plugs. They arrived fine. However, they were riddled with aphids. I contacted them via their website to inform them of this and express my disappointment. Radio silence thereafter. Not impressed.

Used them for a few years with no issue. This year 1/3 of my order missing and radio silence from them when trying to find out why. I am now trying somewhere else to get the plants that did not arrive.Will be doing a chargeback, All I needed was a reply from the webmail form to show there is life the other end.

I was a chilli plug short on delivery. I received the replacement with an extra very quickly, very good little chilli plants

I placed an order 10 weeks ago. It took weeks to arrive, and even then it was incomplete! There was no note or message in the parcel to explain that the rest was to follow, nor did I receive an email to explain. I have tried to contact them using social media as no email address or phone number is available. I am still waiting for a reply.

I'm left having paid for an order and out of pocket for the items that were not sent.

I ordered seeds and my card was charged on the same day. I never received my order and they do not respond to emails sent via their contact form. Avoid at all costs and go somewhere you won't be ripped off.

The best Chilli plug plants ever! I am over the moon with them. The plugs were well packaged and are really healthy. The service is second to none and Sarah could not be more helpful. I will certainly be using World of Chillies again in the future. Keep up the good work and thank you!

I have used this company twice in previous years and have had decent service. This year I ordered some chilli plugs, but also an 'El ranchero' kit. The plugs came, not individually identified, but the kit didn't arrive. I emailed them and they replied fairly quickly, but told me they'd sent the kit and they would sort it out in the morning.
I still haven't received the kit, nor have I heard anything from them since a week or so back.
My overall feeling is one of disappointment, because service has previously been fine. I get the impression that all the money has been spent on a slick website, instead of adequate staffing or systems to actually meet demand. If it was my business I would be working seven days to sort out the issues that clearly exist there. I'm just hoping I get the rest of my order this week, or I shall be taking steps to get most of my money back.
Come on guys, people are giving you their hard earned money.
