Polite efficient service given by Mia and Ellie.

Fitted me in at short notice for a service. Car dropped off quickly and ready to collect within 4 hours. Sarah was really helpful when booking in. Car was cleaned and left in good condition. Will always use Southend.

Great service, clean facilities. Kept up to date by Sarah on reception very helpful and friendly. Good to look at the vehicles. My first service with my first MG. Good experience.

Brought a brand new tiggo8 summit had the for 3 hours and a ELK failure come up when I spoke to chery regarding this they told me to bring the car in, in a few days time! I ended up taking the car back the next day and it’s been there ever since.. they still don’t no what the problem actually is with the car! Although I’ve decided I want to reject the car under consumers right act 2015.. the after sale team is none existent and any question you have after signing for the car you might Aswell talk to the brick wall because they don’t actually reply to anything.

❌❌ Chery Southend what can I say I purchased a chery Tiggo 8 summit on the 24th July 2026 and it was back to them the next day with a fault so I am using my consumers rights act 2015 but Chery and the finance company are dragging there feet and denied my consumers rights act 2015 with no real excuse I have a family and they have left me non mobile for nearly 4 weeks now I would advise people to stay well clear of this company the care they have for people it's disgusting STEER CLEAR ❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌

I’d really like to praise Sarah Makin, she made the whole experience less stressful and less worrying. My handbrake suddenly broke on the motorway resulting in the car coming to a scary halt, life threatening situation. We managed to get home and couldn’t use the car and Sarah listened, helped and got my car booked in, kept me up to date, made sure I was also ok and as she knew we were due to go on holiday and needed the car back before the 17th she went above and beyond to make sure the part arrived in time and that I had my car back before the weekend. MG have been great, car fixed, excellent staff, lot of extra customer service and Sarah is the Southend branch ‘fairy godmother’. Don’t know what I’d do without her.

Please get your air conditioning fixed in the showroom though as the staff are melting in there, it’s uncomfortable for them and no fun for customers either.

Sarah went above and beyond in very challenging circumstances, incredibly professional dealing with irritable customers on one of the hottest days of the year.

I’m editing this review because Jason the new sales Manager bothered to call me to find out what the issue was. As he has only been in the job for 2 weeks that is a likely reason for the poor communication between sales and service. He had promised to diary my service issue for November and although there may not be a perfect solution he will try his best. In our phone call he fully understood how modern technology in cars can cause more service issue related questions beyond what used to be oil, brakes and engine.

The sales process is as you would expect for any expensive product. Keen to please and very reactive to any message. After purchase you are a second hand citizen and service team
Never respond. I waited 3 weeks to get a simple answer, I sent 3 polite emails asking and then two frustrated emails about no answer. Still never got the answer or any response at all so I had to contact Dacia UK HO who were great and answered the question in 2 minutes. For £27,000 purchase you would hope your future business and care would be worth more. So check and ask for commitment to a responsive service dept before you buy
