We bought our Christmas day fore rib of beef from DMC. I rang beforehand as I wasn't sure on quantities and the person was patient with me and helpful. I was a little nervous about having meat delivered by courier two days before xmas but it arrived as promised and well packaged. The meat was plentiful and gorgeous. Thank you.

Ordering was straight forward. Delivery was excellent. Ordered 3 different types of sausages. One we liked very much (Toulouse), one was very good (venison) one was very disappointing (Merguez).

Excellent service by The Dorset Meat Co. We ordered Beef Wellington to feed 14 on Christmas Day and were certainly not disappointed. Quite delicious and exactly the right amount of servings. Thank you for those who prepared the meat and lovingly put all the delicious ingredients together. Highly recommend.

Happy with the quality of the meat. Happy with responsive customer services.
NOT happy with:
- the short ‘Use By’ dates with the recommendation NOT to freeze (as the products have been previously frozen). Especially unhappy with my planned Christmas/Boxing Day meals - delivered on 23rd December and BOTH had the ‘Use By’ date of 25th December.
- the ‘keto’ box containing decidedly NON keto meatballs.(partial refund given)
- the sausages often ‘leaking’ out of their skins.(partial refund given)

The Venison we ordered from The Dorset Meat Company for Christmas was simply delicious. The best quality we have ever eaten. They were really lovely to deal with, it arrived on time and we will certainly use them again. A great find!

Initially faced with delivery problems for all of our Christmas meat by the courier company, Dorset Meat could not possibly have done more to resolve this and to communicate clearly with us at all stages. Having initially been stressed, they quickly and calmly assured us that this would be quickly resolved and they were entirely good to their word. Instead of a Christmas with no turkey, we enjoyed a relaxed Christmas with some beautiful food, thanks to them :-) Outstanding products but even better customer service, thank you.

I have ordered from Dorset Meat on numerous occasions and have been delighted with their service from ordering on line and by phone when my WiFi went down. The delivery is excellent and meat products of a high standard. I would thoroughly recommend Dorset Meat. Great variety of products.

The ordering system and packaging are well thought out and executed. But the star of the show has to be the meat ….. since eating their beef I have cut out bread, biscuits and potatoes. The steaks fill you up but are not too big and you cook them in 5 minutes with Dorset Sea Salt of course.

The meat is of great quality. You can always contact customer service if you have any questions or would like to make some changes to your order; they always respond very quickly. I have a subscription order and receive the meat every month, I have never had any problems and the quality is always the best.

I'm sure the Christmas ham is good quality, but felt a little bit ripped off by the lack of fat and rind on the joint the I received that barely covers half of the top. Still, first world problems.

It won't be the centre piece I was hoping to roast up for my family :0( . I expected a proper amount of fat to stud and make sticky - for the price paid.
