Very hard to to contact
Good luck trying to talk to an actual person. The local telephone numbers (if you're able to find them - they're not published anywhere) merely direct you to email then hang up. There is a central number (again if you can find it) but hard to reach a person. Only viable alternative seems to be Live chat on the website, which wasn't working/being picked up!

To clarify, our Live Chat service is available Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm. If you try to reach us outside of these hours, the chat won’t be active, but you can leave a message via our email or contact form, and our team will respond on the next working day.
We also have a central customer service phone line, which is primarily dedicated to supporting our online-only schools that don’t have a physical branch. This line is available during the same weekday hours (9am–5pm), and we typically have very short wait times—usually under 10 seconds, so you can speak to someone quickly.
For schools with a physical branch, support is usually handled directly by that branch, which is why local numbers are not always widely published.
We’re sorry if Live Chat wasn’t available or picked up when you tried—it may have been outside of operating hours or during an unusually busy period. Your feedback is really helpful, and we’ll take it on board as we continue to improve our communication channels.

The delivery cost is really high and the customer service person I came across was really rude. They refuse collection at a different location store. The order and collection has to be at one specific store.

As with most online retailers, standard postage costs apply to all orders, regardless of the quantity of items purchased. All mailing services currently offered are a tracked delivery service, to ensure swifter and more secure delivery.

No payment plans like PayPal and others
How is it possible that Stevensons can be so expensive but yet have no payment plans for families? I honestly don’t know how people do it with these prices and no help. Flimsy thin items with high price tags so taking advantage.

I hate shopping here!
Always issues shopping with Stevensons. Size guides are rubbish, sizing of items is awful too, items are frequently out of stock, quality is poor, name tags are sewn in stupid places and look like washing labels, refunds aren’t processed unless you chase and to top it off having paid for DPD tracked delivery, I started getting hoax texts on day of delivery purporting to be from DPD threatening storage charges unless click on link to rearrange delivery within 24 hours or item will be returned to sender! Stevensons reckon it’s a pure coincidence and nothing to do with them. Yeah right. I wouldn’t shop here if I had an alternative. Wish school would source an alternative supplier.

As outlined in our previous email, there has unfortunately been a significant national increase in phishing and hoax text messages impersonating delivery companies such as DPD. These messages are not generated by either DPD or Stevensons, and are often sent at random through number‑harvesting. They are frequently received around the same time customers are expecting genuine deliveries, which can understandably cause concern.
At present, I cannot see that any additional issues were raised regarding sizing or name labelling. However, if you do have any concerns in these areas, we would be more than happy to discuss them further and see how we can help.
