Lovely property with loads of room and space for us to spread out if we needed to. Everything was good quality and super comfortable. Lovely outlook and great to have the field to ourselves! Location perfect for exploring north coast the glens. Peaceful but near amenities. Welcome pack and information was really helpful and welcoming

Perfect in every way!
Everything about this house was perfect! Location, price, it was clean and very comfortable. A short walk into the town and Tesco just 100 metres or so up the road.
The owners handed the keys over in person and showed us around the house, great touch and lovely people. We could not have wished for anything better.

Shamrock Cottages
Myself and a friend have been using Shamrock Cottages for many years, 2 to 4 times per year. We just used them to book a cottage and had no particular problems with the cottages, at least none that we warranted needed a complaint sent in.
However , this July we stayed in a Cottage in Donegal which was dreadful. There was a terribly odour of cat spray in the main room and in 2 out of 3 of the bedrooms the window did not open amongst other issues. Shamrock cottages dealt with the problem atrociously. They emailed the owner who said there was no smell and ventilation was adequate, they then chose to believe them fully and close the complaint . For a long time customer to be completely dismissed and our complaint ignored is extremely disappointing. What is the point of using an agent when there is no difference booking directly as they do not care about their customers?!
Appalling customer service.
Avoid using them because if something goes wrong they couldn’t care less.
And avoid Teach Mary Denis in Cruit Island as well,

The cottage we stayed at smelled…
The cottage we stayed at smelled horrendous when we arrived & all through the week. The owner had a maintenance man call around to investigate & he said he could smell nothing, even though as he sat speaking to us the entire time the rancid odour was present. All of the investigative work Shamrock Cottages carried out relied on the owners experience of the situation. We absolutely felt like our concerns were swept under the carpet & were made to feel like we were making the whole scenario up. I will Never book through Shamrock cottages again as the way they dealt with the issues we raised was one sided & made us feel like we were the problem.
