Booking process was really straightforward and the communication, clear, concise and effective. Would highly recommend
We stayed at Swifts Retreat in Bidford upon Avon.
The property was clean, well maintained and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was a bonus.

Exceeded Expectations
We stayed at Charlton Down cottage for five nights and it was fantastic. Our expectations were exceeded from when we arrived and saw the beautiful cottage with a lovely big outdoor garden. It was spotlessly clean.It had everything and more than we expected from washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee & milk, bin liners, kitchen rolls. There was a big fridge freezer in kitchen but also another freezer in the utility room. There were plenty of big fluffy towels. The beds were really comfortable and had lovely white linen. Wifi was good. There was even bowls etc for the dog. We took our own for our dog, but they were there if you wanted them. The location is very rural which we absolutely loved as there was no noise, just peace & quiet. We will definitely be going back.

Accommodation was great

Beautiful cottage in a great location
The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a nice stay. It felt like home-from-home and the owners had gone to a lot of trouble to ensure we had a good stay. The cottage is also very well located for exploring the pretty villages in the Cotswolds, and the icing on the cake is its only a stagger to a beautiful old pub, located in the village. The cottage is stacked with information on things to do and we made use of this. It also has a lovely private garden, where you can relax with a cup of tea (morning) and a glass of wine (evening), amongst the beautiful lavender, which was humming with bees, just perfect. Thank you to the owners for making our stay so pleasurable. I would recommend this cottage as a good Cotswold base.

Excellent all round.
Clear, honest description on the website of cottage which was excellent and very comfortable even in the recent intense heatwave. Pleasant, helpful people in Bolthole office when I had a couple of queries.
I would definitely use this company again because of the quality of their properties and ease of booking.

The ‘Little Forge’ in Bourton-on-the-water Cotswolds
The ‘Little Forge’ in Bourton-on-the-water was absolutely fantastic! It is immaculately clean and has everything you could want, it is just one street back from the village
Don’t bother looking at any other accomodation as this is the best! We want to go back in winter so we can light the fire

Wonderful family getaway
They have a great selection of properties in many areas. They properties have lots of valuable information provided and it is very easy to book. The property we booked was extremely well maintained, offered all the amenities we needed and was in a great location.

Our second stay at The Farmhouse
It was our second stay at The Farmhouse and we very much enjoyed it. We love the house, the disc golf course and all the walks around the site and into Charlbury. The breakfast and cakes are delicious and we had everything we needed for a multi-generational family get together.

Wonderful property
Beautiful location, the accommodation was clean and beautifully furnished. Plenty of towels and a fabulous stocked cupboard with condiments and a pint if milk in fridge. We paid extra for the hot tub which was well maintained and clean. There is not much in the actual village but a Co op about a mile away was useful, but a good location to get around to visit all the places we wanted to go. The village itself is pretty , no rubbish anywhere , in fact everywhere we went was road and strreet rubbish free. There are some lovely walks in the village and a stunning church right next door to the property. The Frocester pub about a mile or so away was friendly and the food delicious. A wonderful place, everyone was so friendly , it was perfect 🥰 I cannot recommend enough.

Perfect recharge for our family
Our family just spent a fabulous 5 days at Kington Grange with the super hosts Susan & Phil.
The very spacious property is great with lovely comfortable bedrooms & different rooms to mooch between to relax in during the day. The gardens are beautiful and we made good use of the tennis court and wild swimming water. We really didn’t need to go anywhere.
Susan & Phil were the most generous welcoming hosts and full of local knowledge of interest.
Highly recommend!

Good location fairly quiet off the main…
Good location fairly quiet off the main tourist part of Bourton.
A lot of repairs, maintenance and purchasing of essential equipment is needed to bring the cottage up to a good standard.
Definitely overpriced for the facilities in the cottage.
Would not stay there again.
