A stunning location, great family holiday.
We had a wonderful family holiday here and hired both the cottage and Folly.
The location of this cottage is stunning and we woke to blue skies and sea every morning. The owners were very helpful and sent an information sheet with great tips on what to do and where to eat in the area.
The cottage is well equipped, comfortable and homely and beautifully decorated.
We had a great week and would definitely return.

A little disappointed in the process…
A little disappointed in the process for paying the deposit for the cottage and final payment. Be sure to understand and remember that cards details for the deposit are not kept and you have to physically call again to pay the final payment and secure the accommodation. Also question the company quality process for cottages on their system.

Good afternoon David,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, though I'm sorry to hear that you found the payment process disappointing. We have a number of ways that guests can pay their balance including via their guest portal online. The details on how to do this should be in your final payment reminder emails that we send out when the final balance is due.

Dugort House
Location is excellent and the house, because of its four bedrooms, worked very well for the size of our family. It was our third year returning to this property which speaks for itself. Everything in relation to the booking process was done very professionally

The home is beautiful with spacious rooms and kitchen and outdoor space with a stunning view. Google the drive up to it in case it's a showstopper for you, over a kilometre of one way but it's not busy. Worth it for the view!

A comfortable holiday cottage
A comfortable holiday cottage in a great location (the sea is 500 meters away and Dublin is quite close). Very peaceful. One minor drawback : the taps are a bit worn out.

Booking with Shamrock Cottages was easy. The cottage was in a lovely situation with a beautiful view. It is situated an easy ten minutes from Tesco but in the middle of nowhere!
All four bedrooms were comfortable and a decent size. Having four shower rooms was useful.
